Hybrid cursed as the leg slammed into the back of his own, throwing the machine off balance with the explosive power of the massive minigun on his arm. As the mech hit the ground more curse words were lost with a sudden grinding noise as a rock penetrated the damaged mech's power core, smoke rising instantly as the hatch tried and failed to open to let out the pilot. Taking his losses into account, Hybrid realized he was finished. "I'll take them all out with me, then," he growled, activating the self destruct on his mech.
Scept looked up to Cizos shooting over him, the large dragon claws grabbing around his arms as he realized what Hybrid was about to do. The Russian boy pointed toward Rua suddenly, so as to tell Cizos to take him in that direction. As the dragon shot forward with a blaze of speed, the destruction of Hybrid shook the temple behind him, and Scept released himself from the dragon's grip and shot straight toward Rua, roaring as he went with electricity beginning to shape all around him.
A small time bubble appeared and hardened around Scept, taking most of any impact he would have, whether Rua got out of the way or not.

Alasea and Rua split off as the attack came--Alasea ran and leaped off the edge, landing on one of the suspended platforms between the walkways, and Rua taking off down the outer ring. He skid to a halt, however, when he saw what was happening with the mech--he threw his arms up to cover his head and backed off before he got in range of the explosion.
The walkway where Hybrid was had been decimated in the blast--chunks of the stone walkway slowly sank into the water, while the rest of the debris flew through the air. Unfortunately for Rua, it left him open for attack, and Scept's tackle slammed him hard, knocking him into the pool itself. Panicking slightly, he kicked off to the surface and broke through, gasping for air while he turned towards Scept and his water dragon.
And then the worst happened. A roar shook the arena, as the Memphre surged up the depths at the opposite end of the pool, breaking the surface to challenge the enemy in its lair. With another terrible cry, it charged through the broken gap in the arena floor, straight at the water dragon.

Cizos snarled as the new opponent appeared, and Memphre's powerful form headed straight for him. The sleek form of Cizos shot like a missile through the air, teeth barred with small arms tucked close to his body to increase his speed and the dragon barreled toward the large dinosaur-looking enemy. At the last moment Cizos dropped, slicing through the water like knife through warm butter, hardly a splash coming out around the entrance.
The scales of the dragon flattened themselves as it entered into the water, his speed nearly doubling as it entered into the dragon's home element. A sharp U-turn brought Cizos aimed upwards once more, hopefully being able to tear into the underbelly of Memphre with the upward strike.
