After a few seconds on the ground Ryo hopped up with a cheer of joy ignoring the fact that they were probably dumped into a trapped room."Ha! That was actually pretty fun." He then glanced over at Alasea who was still on the ground. "Need a hand?"

"No, I'm good," she said, standing up. She whipped her hands downwards to fling the water off of them. "God, I'm soaked. I hate this stupid temple."
The chamber was a small one, Alasea noted as she looked around. In fact, it seemed to be some sort of elevator room--looking through the grated floor, she could see some sort of translucent tube in the water, and there was a circular platform just above it, in the center of the room. "I think its time to go down deeper into the temple," she said, pointing at the elevator platform.
===
Rua breathed heavily as he looked back at the mess of shredded Murloc bodies strewn over the platforms, their dark blood flowing into the waters. He separated the Phase Scythe into the two Phase Blades and deactivated them, sheathing them on his hips. "Now, time to find that blasted Water Key," he muttered, pushing open the door.

Ryo rolled his eyes and started walking towards the platform."I can only imagine what horrors await us down there."

"God only knows," Alasea said, stepping onto the platform. Six panels set evenly around the edge of the platform lit up blue as it rumbled to live, then began descending down the tube at a steady pace. They saw a number of aquatic creatures swimming around the tube and the outside of the Sea Temple, where the tube was.
"Well, at least the Memphre isn't around," she said, grounding the point of her Megami Tsurugi onto the floor of the elevator. "Hey, Ryo, what were you looking for in the Temple, anyway?"
===
Another pool, Rua mused, looking at the center of the small chamber and the dark waters within. He sighed, willing the Dragon King Armor to him. As the crystal and metal Bound Armor formed around his body, he let the visor close down on his face, and looked down at the waters, letting the scanner search for possible threats. He found none.
"Time to take the plunge," he said, jumping into the water with a splash, and began to sink rapidly to the bottom.

Ryo chuckled a bit before answering her question."Who says I was looking for anything? Call me crazy but I was just having some fun. Until I took a plunge into the ocean anyway." He paused for a moment and sat down gazing out into the ocean."So the leader of that other team...Scept was it? He knows what you two are looking for. So i'm guessing he's not just some average player."

"No, he's definitely not an average player," Alasea confirmed. "He hacked into the game illegally and there was an accident, which trapped his mind in the game. As for knowing what we're after... I don't think he knows. But me and R.D. are known well enough, and if we're after something, well... it doesn't matter if others find out now. If its here, and we find it... it'll be a race against time."
===
It was getting darker, now. There were less and less luminescent organisms in the water now, making it darker as he sank. Finally, Rua saw the bottom, and landed softly in the silt, which clouded up around him. He did a quick scan before the silt settled, but found no enemies. He did, however, find a doorway.
He walked up to it and kicked it. In response, it shuddered and slid up into the ceiling, allowing him entry into an underwater room the slowly sloped upwards to the surface.

"Race against time huh.."Ryo shrugged as he leaned back on his arms. "We've got the keys at least."

"Yep, two of them at least," Alasea said, nodding. "Hopefully we can find the third one, or at least R.D. can find it."
Slowly, they slipped into darkness as they returned to the interior of the Temple, sliding down into a chamber similar to the one they had entered up above. The elevator settled down onto a pool of water, and the then the lighted sectioned dimmed as they stepped off.
===
Water slid off of the crystal and metal plates of the Dragon King Armor as Rua marched out of the pool, climbing the slope into the room. As he came into the room, he craned his neck up at what he saw.
"That... is a big Murloc," he muttered, taking in the statue of the towered aquatic creature, hunched over what looked to be yet another pool of water. Suddenly, behind him a grate slid over the pool of water he had just emerged from, and growls began to echo throughout the chamber. Crawling out of the center pool were a large number of Murlocs, each gripping weapons of some sort in their webbed claws. Rua frowned.
"Never a dull moment, eh?" he muttered, drawing the Phase Blade on his left hip and swinging it over into the pommel of the one on his right hip. The two connected, and he drew the combined weapon out in front of him, activating it. Twin blades slid out of the floating crystals, and Rua brought the Phase Lance behind him as he lifted up his shield.
"Bring it!" he yelled as he charged into the fray.

Ryo groaned as they stepped off the elevator. It was too dark for him to see so he pointed his blade forward. "A bit dark for my taste." He took a moment to concentrate before moving his free hand onto the sword's handle. Then in a flash a mass of light energy was shot into his blade giving it a bright white glow. Now able to see a bit he started moving his weapon around the room to get a better look.

The room they found themselves in was nearly identical to the top of the elevator, except for the lack of light sources and a stone floor instead of a grated one. The light exposed the doorway, to which Alasea moved towards and opened. The next room, though dark, had some illumination: somehow, the walls at sections glowed a pale blue, in between the aquariums set into the walls. Statues of vaguely humanoid shapes lined a path to an large intersection, the details of said statues were nearly worn away by time.
"Well, this place looks interesting," Alasea remarked, stepping out into the expansive room. Two of the other doors had metal bars in front of them, barring others from using them: only the doorway to their right allowed anyone to pass through and go deeper into the Sea Temple of Valtheran.
===
The Phase Lance stabbed forward and knocked away the spear from a Murloc, and Rua followed up by dragging the weapon across the Murloc's throat, spraying the dark blood across the floor as it gurgled and drowned in its own life fluids. Rua spun around and slashed downwards, cleaving another Murloc from shoulder to opposite hip, then leaped away to the side as a couple spears slammed down where had been standing. The two Murlocs in question galloped in and retrieved them before coming after him without changing pace, making alien sounds as they attacked.
His weapon slashed downwards, the bottom blade cutting into the stone floor, but the first Murloc to reach him sidestepped out of the way and raised the spear up, point aimed down, to stab at his armored chest. The Phase Lance swinging back around in a horizontal strike removed both its head and its upraised arm, and blackish blood sprayed all over his armor. As the visor automatically cleared the fluids, he ducked under the second spear and stabbed his double-ended sword upwards into the second Murloc's head.
Yanking the weapon out, ran back into the fray, jumping up and bringing the upper blade down on another crazed Murloc's skull. "Come on!"

"It's certainly well constructed.." Ryo commented as he entered the room. Letting his sword rest at his side he looked over the statues and then over towards the doors. "So there is only one path? That simplifies things."

"Unless its a trap," Alasea said, making her way over to the door. "Only one way to find out."
As she walked along the path, the door suddenly opened, instead of locking. Coming out of the room was a large, humanoid figure, reptilian in looks, but with a large, webbed ridge running down its back and tail, and a large, wicked looking trident held in its claws. The creature had what looked like gills along its neck, and was covered in blue-green scales like those found on fish. Its face was open in a snarl, revealing a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth.
"O-okay," Alasea said, backing away slowly as it looked at her. However, it seemed to regard her slowly for a moment, then began walking past her, causing her to back up off the edge of the path. It turned its gaze to Ryo as it made its way to the center of the path and turned towards the paladin. It regarded him for a moment, then spun its weapon overhead, the weapon blurred as it moved, then swung down the weapon into a ready stance.
"You've got to be kidding me," Alasea said, utterly bewildered. "Its... challenging you to a duel."
===
"Okay, this is nuts," Rua said as more Murlocs began pouring out of the pool in a new wave after he killed the last one. He looked up at the giant Murloc statue above the pool, then back down at the pool. "Okay, there's a solution."
A spear was thrown at him, and he raised his shield up to block it, the weapon clanging against it as Rua stabbed the Phase Lance down into the stone floor. He lowered the shield immediately and activated his arm cannon, firing a green laser beam across the distance and nailing the amphibious creature in the face with it, creating a burn and causing it to cringe back as others readied their weapons.

Ryo raised an eyebrow at the creature in front of him rather surprised himself. "Well what do yah' know..." He grinned spinning his weapon once before pointing it at the creature. His left hand relaxed and at his side. "Very well I accept your challenge! You may have the first move."

Even as the words left Ryo's mouth, the beast had begun its attack, leaping an extraordinary height as it spun its trident in a blurring circle, before slashing downwards with it as the creature descended.
Alasea was amazed. She could feel no magic in the creature, and yet it was moving at insane speeds. Suddenly, she wondered if Ryo could win this fight--despite its size, this monster looked like it had the dexterity to take on even Rua without much problem.
===
Chunks of stone floor disappeared in an instant as the matter converter in the Dragon King Armor activated, causing a prismatic aura to shine around Rua's body as the collected material reformed into the various mounted cannon weaponry on his armor's numerous hardpoints. Running, he jumped forward and kicked backwards off of the head of a Murloc, and used his armor's thrusters to maintain his position in the air as he activated both arm cannons.
The back-mounted cannons slung over his shoulder as the hip-cannons swung up and locked into place. Various locks were achieved on the HUD of his visor while a line of energy was drawn into the torso-mounted cannon. All at once, they cannons fired--three beams of red-and-azure plasma, twin rays of golden energy, and a pair of jade beam fire streaked over the Murlocs and smashed into the statue behind them, coring through the stonework of the gigantic Murloc's limbs and breaking them off. The statue pitched forward and plummeted, smashing and crushing most of the Murlocs underneath it as the head smashed into the pool, covering it completely.
There'd be no more waves of angry Murlocs now, Rua decided as he landed, letting the back and hip cannons revert back into their standby positions.

A simple blink and Ryo had nearly lost sight of the creature. The moment he saw the creature dropping from the sky he jerked his weapon upward to match it's attack. Despite this Ryo was forced down a bit before pushing upward with a large amount of force. If the creature remained within range Ryo would leap forward with a basic horizontal slash.
