"I remember the time exactly, it was +52 of the hour 9 P.M., and it was over in an alley by one of the bars, I had to cut through there to get to my apartment of+1 solitude." Ryan said being knowledgable for once.

"So you don't remember the name of the street...?" Phoenix asked, fearing that he would have to resort to the only way to outwit the witness, which he didn't want to do at this time.
(I'm not picking anything up here, BD....PM plz. >__>)

"Nope, but I do remember one thing, when I walked through the alley and saw the corpse, the guy running away had a gunblade on his back, but I'm the one that reported the murder."

"...A gunblade you say? As in...one? Only one?" Phoenix asked. Both witnesses have done this twice...in a row. If this witness could be trusted, then he already had a plot of action set forward in his head.

"Yes, it was strapped to his back, he had another sword, but it was bigger, definetly not a Gunblade, oh and he was covered in black leather and metal..." Ryan said,"The big sword wouldn't have made the stab, so I dunno what happened after that..."

"So, in your opinion, wouldn't that make it impossible to be my client?" Phoenix couldn't help but let out a small smile as he said that.

"HOLD IT!" Edgeworth said, copying Phoenix' finger-move with an original twist by holding up his stick and pointing it. "Mister Frecklin, how were you able to determine that the stab wounds could not have been caused by the weapons that fleeing person you claim to have seen?" He asked the witness.

"The sword was three fuggin' feet thick, the stabs looked to be only about two, and for the record I'm a 20/20 vision wise." Frecklin said, he hated when people questioned his credibility.

"If the sword was three feet thick," Edgeworth questioned, "How come you are so sure it even actually was a sword?" He asked. If it had indeed been three feet thick at most, it had to have been unbelievably large to actually have cutting ability.

"Well, the guy was carrying it, so there" Ryan said,"Can I go, I have a burrito at home that's waiting for me..."

Phoenix proceeded to slam his hands down, deciding to take his move.
"Regardless, Edgeworth! With two witnesses saying they had only seen one gunblade at the crime scene, it can't be shaken off as pure coincidence!"

"One thing, Phoenix," Edgeworth then proceeded to speak, gesturing at Frecklin he was not yet to leave, before turning to look at the defense attorney. "We have yet to question the previous witness about the second sword Mister Frecklin claims to have seen, the three-feet-thick one."

"Phoenix...we have one shot at this...you're going to have to call a new witness...his name is...Adam Kovarik," Kite said realizing he was really walking the coals now.

"You know, Mister McKnights," Edgeworth said somewhat agitatedly, "considering you're the witness, you have no right to suggest witnesses. And unless you think that your attorney is a total retard, I suggest that you stop doing it." He concluded. "Or take a different attorney."
(OOC: I hope that captures Edgeworth's personality well enough. >___> )

"Well guess what, when I get out of here you'll be taking a nice pay cut chump!" Kite said standing up.
"Settle down!" The judge yelled,"I'm calling a recess, there are still witnesses we haven't heard from, and I think we need to hear from.
