"I don't know how this all happened..." said a dark haired man handcuffed to his chair. The man was in a courtroom, what had happened was simple. His brother was murdered and he was the prime suspect. He knew he was being framed, but by who...no one knows.

The man slumped over his desk in the courtroom, reading over the autopsy report that had been give to him earlier, running his fingers through his spiky black hair, trying to make sense of everything. With the staff and angels taking care of any serious crimes, Phoenix had one case, and that was dismissed because it was a completely ridiculous situation in itself.
But now it was different. "How the hell am I supposed the defend a staff member?" Wright asked himself, making sure that only he could hear himself talk. He had been given the case YESTERDAY, and had no time to prepare, and maybe 10 minutes worth of talking with Kite. Ergo, he was in the worst possible position one such as himself could be in.

This may be my lucky break. No proesucter means no trial. Phoenix thought to himself grinning now, confusing the people who noticed.

OOC: Hope the marks aren't too deep...
"Hold it Phoenix Wright!" Yelled the deep GErman accent of Franziska Von Karma,"Your Honor, my apologies, there was an accident on the highway and I had to ignore your silly American speed limits to get here." There was a pause, "As for you Phoenix Wright"
"Crack!" a whip launched a blow at Phoenix.
"Great...it's her, she's probably still miffed I refused to give her a flase report on the Mcguffey trial, i'm good as deleted now..." Kite muttered to himself.
The judge looked out,"Whatever, I seen no need to penalize you, your opening statement Ms. Von Karma?"
"That man's guilty, case closed, he might as well have dug his on grave with this kind of case..." Von Karma said, Arms folded.

(OOC: You could, you know, told me about this before, instead of just expecting me to read your minds again.)
"HOWEVER!" A voice then boomed across the courtroom from the front door. "We shall still continue this case, as is to be done in accordance with the law." Edgeworth said, and a smirk appeared on the man's face, as he started walking, a stick tapping against the wooden floor. The ace prosecutor appeared to be slightly limping. "Good day, Miss Von Karma." He said, as he approached the prosecutor's bench. "Mind if I take this one?"

Wonderful. Phoenix thought, his entire expression drooping at Edgeworth's arrival.
Could be worse, I suppose...he could have a whip. The attorney shuddered.

"YOU ARROGANT COW!" Her whip was about to go into a frenzy when suddenly a man in a visor appeared behind her, and stuck her with a syringe, sedating her.
"I'll get her out of here," said Godot as he walked off carrying Von Karma out of the room.
"Alright, Mr. Edgeworth, your opening statement..." The judge said rubbing his forehead.

"Yes, Your Honour." Edgeworth said. "For starters, I would like to have a whip, if you don't mind." He said, casting a look at Franziska and Godot leaving, before looking at Phoenix with a slight grin.
"Anyways, I did not come here to play games." He continued. "Your Honour, the victim was killed by multiple, a.k.a. two, wounds, the second of which lethal, made by a broad sword. The cut made by the trusts seem to be rather akin to those that would be made by a slightly curved sword, akin to the blade of a certain type of gunblade, which Mister Kite just happens to own."

"So, your telling me that my client is the only character in Ymaggion with a sword that matches that description?" Phoenix asked, slamming his hands down on his desk.

"Not really." Edgeworth complied. "Although gunblades are rather rare, I must say. Mostly used by fans of Final Fantasy VIII, and then mostly only by the most dedicated or stupid ones, as they are rather difficult to handle. However," He continued on, staring at his opponent in the case, "it appeared to the ones doing the autopsy that the one who had been wielding the blades was really experienced with them, as the cuts appeared swift and clean, aimed for vital organs, even. The fatal strike did not even as much as touch a rib. Plus," Edgeworth than went on, getting upa hand with a pointy finger, "there were slight scorchmarks along the edges of the cuts in the clothes of the victim, showing that the blades had some sort of burning attribute to them. They'd likely have a Lightning, Fire or Light element, or be charged with some sort of heat source, or perhaps solar power. And Mister Kite just happens to own such blades. In fact, and this is most peculiar," Edgeworth then went in for the kill, "he is the only one with such weapons."

"Neither the clean cuts or the burnt areas were in the autopsy report!" Phoenix noted, trying to get back to a solid ground.
"I demand proof!"

"Very well then." Edgeworth said, and his hand went into his jacket, coming back out holding a map with some paperwork in it. "See for yourself." He said to Phoenix, and he threw it across the room, with the map landing nicely right in front of Phoenix on the defense's bench. "If you want, officers Raziel and Levael can testify it's validity." He added.
"Hiya." A voice said somewhere in the courtroom, it coming from an angel in a police officer's uniform, wearing square glasses and with short brown hair, sitting next to another male angel cop with blonde hair and an athletic build. Levael and Raziel respectively.

Dammit. Was the only thing that came to Phonix's wind as he read the paper over.
and over.
And over.
Something HAD to have been wrong here.
"Anyway...don't you have a witness to call....or something?" Phoniex asked, desperatly wanting a chnage of subject.

"Witnesses?" Edgeworth said. "Well, if you insist."
He turned around and gestured. "Bring in the midgets!" He shouted over to the angels. With a sigh, Levael stood up and walked to the door and went through it, not closing it behind him. He returned seconds later with six midgets in tow, four of which were endowed with big hairy beards. All of them stood in a line, as if waiting for something, the faces of some looking rather grumpy.
"Hic." One of them brought out, as he put a bottle inside his pocket.
"Your Honour," Edgeworth said, I summon six of the seven dwarves to the stand, he mentally thought to himself, "I present you Ori, Nori, Dori, Gori, Cori, and..." He took a second to look at a paper in his hand, "Fjitznit."
"It's Fjitzschnjit, you dolt!" A schrieky voice with a slight Irish-ish accent, coming from one of the six newly summoned apparent-witnesses cried out.
