NPC or PC: NPC
Real- Life Character Name:
Ymaggion Character Name: Talbain Zekter III
Alias: Zekter the frozen, Zekter
Age: 105-cycles (approximately 157-years)
Gender: Male
Nationality: Bal-lik
Rank: Beta
Specialization: Warrior
Strengths/Weaknesses: Because he is an ice elemental warrior he is vulnerable to intense heat, which means a long trek through the blazing desert is a bit out of the question. However, for the same reason he is very strong against wind and water-based attacks, and can absorb ice-based attacks. Zekter, originally being an arctic werewolf, can comfortably live in the coldest of temperatures, and due to his white fur he blends in very well to snowy environments.
Clothing/Armor:
Physical Appearance: Talbain has partially metal body, a wolf-like figure, and glowing red eyes. His entire torso, his arms and “hands”, the majority of his legs, and his whole face are metal. The claws on his hands aren’t normal claws, but are made of the same sort of stuff a Z-Saber is. Zekter is a very tall being, standing at 7'6", and weighs around 630lbs.
Personality: Zekter is a very cold being. He has no compassion or mercy for anyone. Because of his icy demeanor some people started making up tales of the former General, saying that Talbain was cursed by a warlock many years ago. For destroying his home land the warlock cast a spell on Zekter that turned his heart to ice so that it would reflect how he behaved--this is how his nickname, "Zekter the Frozen", became so widely known.
Talbain does not permit failure from anyone under his command, and will harshly punish those who do not succeed in carrying out his orders.
Equipment: Knife-holding belt, and spear strap. Cyrin-zech, Hex, and energy claws.
Miscellaneous Items:
Elemental Affinity: Ice
Special Abilities: Can create and manipulate ice to a great degree. Using his powers over ice he can make blasts, beams, shields/barriers/domes, fire icicles and/or cause them to come out of the ground (if it's a cold environment), and he can also cause snow and/or ice to shift and he can also manipulate it in a wide variety of ways (making it into a fist to attack his foe, etc.). Uncanny agility, strength and durability. He can also view his surroundings in inferred and regular vision.
Transformations: Limit Break creates a silvery mist around Zekter III that amplifies his ice powers by 50%. This power can last for up to 3-hours in an icy setting, and about 10 to 20 minutes in a very hot setting.

Battle Style: Zekter III is a very aggressive fighter, and is usually the first to attack. He strikes fast and hard, and won't stop until his opponent is defeated. But, that doesn't mean it attacks without a plan; Talbain always strikes with a purpose and a plan. He is constantly thinking two moves ahead.
Companions:
History: Talbail Zekter III was an NPC in the Beta test of Ymaggion. He was born on the 8,000th cycle after the meteor, Renance, struck his planet, Bal-likia, bringing about ‘The Plague’ (or 8,000 AR/After Renance). This would make him 105-cycles of age (157-years-old).
Talbain was named after his father, who was named after his father, who had been given the name in memory and honor of Talbain Locke, a legendary werewolf warrior from 4,000 BR (Before Renance).
When Talbain III was very young, merely 6-cycles-old, his father, Talbain Jr. (or Talbain II), started teaching him the ways of the hunt. He started young Talbain off on small creatures such as young deer. Later he sent his son after medium sized creatures, and after a few cycles he started showing him how to use the clan weapons: the spear and knife. However, the old spear and knife had become far more advanced over time, and were now formed of nearly invincible steel, and the blades coursed with energy.
On the day of his 14th cycle Talbain Zekter III was given his coming-of-age ceremony where he was sent out into the wilderness to find and slay the mightiest creature he could find, and bring it back for the feast. What the young warrior returned with was a 30-foot tall, and 50-foot long fire dragon. The feast was grand, and went on for 5-days. However, the day after the ceremony several winged dragons came onto werewolf territory seeking Talbain III. As it turned out the beast he had slain was Mordose, Prince of the Dragons of the east. The dragon clan of the east sought to kill Zekter, but the werewolves were a fierce race who believed in the ancient ways of battle, and that personal vendettas should be fought one-on-on. The dragons protested, and in only hours a war began between the two races. The werewolves were triumphant in the first battle, but as the war went on both sides suffered great losses. It was only when the elves intervened, nearly 2-cycles later, that the war between the two was put to a stop. The two called a truce under the condition that Talbain III serve under the King of the Dragons of the east for 12 and a half cycles to pay for the murder of Mordose.
Talbain left with the dragons to their province several miles away from werewolf land. There he was put under the command of Fefnir, King of the Dragons of the east. He was made a simple servant for 3-cycles, and in that time his duties mainly consisted of cleaning and shining the King’s armored areas, and hunting and preparing his meals. As you could imagine a dragon eats a rather hardy meal, so hunting something large enough to fill such a beast wasn’t always an easy task. However, Fefnir saw that the werewolf had notable talent when it came to the art of fighting, so for the remainder of his sentence Talbain III was sent out to help the dragon warriors train for combat.
Just a few days after he became 28-cycles-old he was set free, and then returned to his home on werewolf territory.
Four cycles later the great warrior left home on a pilgrimage. He searched far and wide for his purpose, for that one thing he believed he was born to do. After many cycles the werewolf came across a great vampire warrior named Vicente. For thousands of cycles there had been bad-blood between the werewolves and vampires, even after Renance, though now it’s not clear to anyone why the feud began. Nevertheless, the two attacked each other on sight, and fought with everything they had. After quite some time the two came to a halt, realizing that they were evenly matched.
Vicente asked his opponent who he was, and the werewolf replied: “I am Talbain Zekter III.” The vampire knew the name instantly, and looked upon Talbain with awe.
“You are of the Zekter clan? Well then, that certainly explains why you were able to match me.” He said with a small smirk.
“And you, vampire? Who are you?” Talbain asked firmly.
“I am Vicente Jedah Gaurdious VII.” He replied. “But you, grand warrior, may call me Vick.” He said kindly.
“I am not usually one to socialize with vampires…but, I think I shall make an exception in your case.” Zekter said as he extended his metal paw-like hand to Vick.
Vick accepted, and shook the large hand while staring up at the beast’s face.
As it turned out both Zekter & Gaurdious were on a journey to find what they were destined to do. As the cycles passed, and their voyage went on the werewolf and vampire became allies, and even friends—something that was beyond unheard of.
Several cycles later Talbain & Vick had a run-in with a group of hot-shot Bal-lik military officers. The militants were looking for a fight, and when one of them happened to bump into Vick he started mouthing off. Well, one thing lead to another, and soon it was Talbain & Vicente Vs. 10 officers. The two warriors gave the militants a thrashing they wouldn’t soon forget. They didn’t kill them for the simple fact that they were part of the military, but had they not been, the streets would have undoubtedly run red that evening. The following day a Major in the Bal-lik army came to the town the 2 were staying in, and when he found them he asked if they were the two who had beaten his men. They didn’t deny it. Talbain & Vick were a fearless pair, and they knew if this elven Major wanted to go at it either one of them could have easily knocked him out. However, they were a little stunned by the Major’s sudden request to join The Service as high-ranking officers. It was right then that the two of them realized that they had found what they were searching for. Talbain & Vicente accepted, and joined the military as Lieutenants. In only 2-cycles both of them had reached the rank of Colonel, and it was then that Bal-likia went to war against Sarra-tone.
On the icy plains of Sarra-tone Col. Zekter & Col. Gaurdious lead the way in with their regiments just behind them. It was on this frozen planet that Talbain first discovered that he could control ice. He and his regiment had followed a retreating unit to a large river. The river, however, had been mostly melted by the time Zekter arrived. The enemy had used highly advanced flamethrowers to melt the ice as they crossed. Yet still there remained a large strip of ice on the opposite side. As the werewolf colonel scowled at his foes he secretly wished in his mind that he could just pull that ice over to him, and ride it over to his enemies. Then, something amazing happened, the ice started to break apart, and float over to the other side where the Bal-lik soldiers were. Talbain stared at the ice in shock, and hesitantly walked onto the ice. It was stable enough to hold him, and there was enough of it for about 20 of his men to get on as well. He ordered some of his soldiers to get onto the ice, and then the ice floated back over to the other side. The Sarra-tonites gazed upon the Bal-lik in fear, and awe, and then with a loud howl Zekter launched himself from the ice, and started to attack. The Bal-lik claimed victory over the enemy unit in seconds, and in a little less than a cycle the war had been won. Col. Zekter & Col. Gaurdious were rewarded for their grand triumph, and were soon made Generals.
Six-cycles after the war with Sarra-tone the war against Bethale started. The Bethaliens were a mighty race, and did not go down easily. For 4-cycles the war between the two planets was waged, and many lives were lost, including the life of Gen. Vicente Jedah Gaurdious VII. However, the news of his death did not reach Gen. Talbain Zekter III until seven days after his passing. When told about his long time friend’s death he didn’t weep, he didn’t say a single sad word; he simply nodded his head to the messenger, and then went about his business. It was because of that singular event that the cold-hearted werewolf earned the nickname “Zekter the Frozen.”
Many wars and cycles later Zekter the Frozen had conquered seven worlds for the sake of Bal-lik. It was after his last victory that he went back home for a short time to speak with the head of the family, Talbain Zekter senior. He told his grandfather about what had happened long ago on Sarra-tone and that he'd been practicing to get a better handle on this ability. When Talbain Sr. heard this he simply smiled, and then had Talbain III follow him. As they walked his grandfather told him that he had accidentally tapped into the powers of their ancestors, and that the only living werewolf who knew how use those powers to their fullest was Demi Locke VI, a direct descendant of Talbain Locke. Though his grandfather could use the powers, he was very old, and was not in shape to teach a novice the very basics. Talbain Sr. took his grandson to the mountains of the west, and to the home of Demi Locke VI, where he trained under Locke for 3-cycles. After that he was shown the techniques of the Zekter family by Talbain Sr., and then Zekter the Frozen went the head of the military and informed him that he was leaving and he would not be back. The werewolf took a military aircraft and wandered the galaxy for one cycle before entering a new galaxy and crash-landing on a strange new planet called: Earth. There he took up residence in the frosty land of Alaska. He lived in peace for many years until one day a group of mercenaries found him and asked him to join them. He said that if one from their group of three could provide him with a challenge in combat then he would join. Well, the bizarre being known simply as Keiser took him up on his challenge and the battle between the great conqueror of worlds and the mercenary without a face ended in a tie. Zekter III joined them and they had many adventures, including a battle against Mega Man Juno, Reckoning, R.D., Derek, and other great warriors on the frozen plains of Antarctica.
After Beta test was over and the staff was putting Ymaggion together they decided to keep some of the old NPCs, including Zekter. Thus, Zekter the Frozen was put into Ymaggion past the Great Wall.
RP Example:
Zekter darted around his opponent for a moment kicking up snow with every step. He watched the way the chimera reacted to his sudden movements; the beast didn’t seem to know what to do against the swift werewolf, and Talbain saw that as he chance to strike. As he took a deep breath he dashed backward, and then dug his claws into the dirt as he slid back while letting out a powerful howl. The chimera was pushed back a bit from the force of the attack and about 45% of the beast’s body was covered with ice by a wide-spread stream of incredibly frigid air that came from Zekter’s mouth. The arctic chimera broke free from the ice in a moments time, and let out a cry of anger as it soared toward Zekter. In a brilliant blue flash Zekter disappeared, leaving behind an ice version of himself. The beast crashed through the ice sculpture right as Zekter reappeared behind the chimera. The werewolf drew his spear, and through it at the beast. The arctic chimera spun around and flew high above the oncoming weapon. The monster fired an ice beam at Zekter from its mouth, clearly enraged that it had been tricked, and Talbain simply vanished with a gust of snow, only to return the same way a couple yards away from the monster.
"If that's all you've got, I suggest you run." He said as he jumped onto the beast's back. The winged monster roared with anger, and then screamed in pain as Talbain ripped off one of its wings. The two crashed into the snow, Zekter on top of the chimera. He then turned the beast so he could get to its throat, and slit it open with a swift swipe from his energy claws. The werewolf stood up, and stared down at the corpse as he towered over it at 7'6". "You should have stayed off my land." He said in a way that only Zekter the Frozen could, and then simply walked away.
Extra: Due to a simple error on the staff's part Zekter retained his memory of the Beta test.
