WHAT REALLY MATTERS
Mana Drain: Low
How to Perform: Talbain Zekter takes in a deep breath and then releases a powerful howl, which causes a wide-spread stream of incredibly frigid air came from his mouth. Anything that the attack hits is knocked back and frozen to some degree.
Effects: Anything that the attack hits is knocked back and frozen to some degree. If the target is already in a cold environment the degree to which he/she/it is frozen is increased slightly.
Pros: Good for slowing down/incapacitating opponents, and forcing foes away.
Cons: Not very effective in extremely hot areas (i.e. volcanoes) or against fire elementals.
RP EXAMPLE:
Zekter darted around his opponent for a moment, watching the way the chimera reacted to his sudden movements. The beast didn’t seem to know what to do against the swift werewolf, and Talbain saw that as he chance to strike. As he took a deep breath he dashed backward, and then dug his claws into the dirt as he slid back while letting out a powerful howl. The chimera was pushed back a bit from the force of the attack and about 45% of the beast’s body was covered with ice by a wide-spread stream of incredibly frigid air that came from Zekter’s mouth.

WHAT REALLY MATTERS
Mana Drain: Low to Intermediate
How to Perform: Zekter can use this technique in one of two ways. 1. He can use the snow and/or ice beneath/around him and merge with it leaving behind only a gust of snow until he appears somewhere else in the area. 2. He can simply vanish in a flash of blue light, leaving behind an ice sculpture of himself in his previous position.
Effects: This technique causes Talbain to teleport through ice/snow to another area that is also covered with either ice or snow, or is near something that is extremely low in temperature.
Pros: Very good evasion technique, and also good for confusing opponents.
Cons: Cannot be used outside of cold environments.
RP EXAMPLE:
The arctic chimera broke free from the ice, and let out a cry of anger as it soared toward Zekter. In a brilliant blue flash Zekter disappeared, leaving behind an ice version of himself. The beast crashed through the ice sculpture right as Zekter reappeared behind the chimera. The werewolf drew his spear, and through it at the beast. The arctic chimera spun around and flew high above the oncoming weapon. The monster fired an ice beam at Zekter, and Talbain simply vanished with a gust of snow, only to return the same way a couple yards away from the monster.

Origin of the Technique: An ancient Bal-lik counter/defensive technique developed by the werewolf warrior, Talbain Locke.
WHAT REALLY MATTERS
Mana Drain: Intermediate - Moderate
How to Perform: Very little is required of Zekter to use this technique, aside thinking about the shape he wants the Bal-lik zeffix to take. Once he’s decided on say a wall, a wall made of a glowing blue ice will appear anywhere within 2-inches to 150-yards of him. This can also be used as a counter attack by shattering the wall.
Effects: Locke Counter/Block can take many different shapes, the most common being a simple wall or dome. The Bal-lik zeffix protects whatever it’s in front of (usually the user), and if the user chooses he may shatter the Bal-lik zeffix and cause it to shoot at any target like a barrage of bullets. Bal-lik zeffix can only be melted by Jinpyre (a certain alien fire), but can be cracked and/or shattered by a blast of Crysis energy and/or highly concentrated Alpha ranked energy beams/blasts.
Depending on the size and shape the Bal-lik zeffix takes it may require slightly more or less mana. If Talbain III chooses to use let's say a large dome and the counter effect it increases the amount of mana drain to moderate.
Pros: Very strong, even against fire attacks, and it makes a good surprise/counter attack.
Cons: User cannot see through the Bal-lik zeffix to aim the counter attack.
RP EXAMPLE:
Zekter was struck by R.D.'s first kick, but the next attack with his blade failed. Zekter's speed nearly made up for the slow in time, but not completely. He whipped out his energy knife, and held it in his left hand as he blocked the first slash. The next two slashes, however, got through but did minimal damage. The boy's last hit to his snout hurt, but not much--the majority of his face was metal.
As R.D. fired his cannons at the metallic werewolf a large wall of blue-glowing ice formed in front of him, protecting him fully from R.D.'s attack.
"You're asking for it, kid." Zekter said from behind the wall, and then all of the sudden the wall shattered into thousands of pieces and shot at R.D. like bullets.

WHAT REALLY MATTERS
Mana Drain: Intermediate
How to Perform: Talbain powers up his energy claws with Bal-lik zeffix, and slashes at his target. A very short range arch of Bal-lik zeffix is also shot from the claws when he slashes.
Effects: Anything touched by this attack is frozen in a nigh impossible to melt and extremely difficult to break icy substance called Bal-lik zeffix.
Pros: Good for slowing down/incapacitating opponents.
Cons: Very small range.

R.D. held his arm high in the air as the energy drill retracted back into his body, causing the massive silver drill bit to extend from his hand, almost twice his height, and expand outwards rapidly with a shockwave of intense power. He swung the Giga Drill down across the side and aimed it in front of him, the tip aimed directly at Bullet and her metallic body.
"BREEEAAAAKKAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"
The Giga Drill spun rapidly, R.D. shoved off of the ground and flew forward, green flame exploding around the back of the Giga Drill and propelled him forward, flying in at insane speeds. But just moments before the Giga Drill would strike the woman... R.D. and the giant drill disappeared in a flash of green light and a sound of thunder.
That same flash of light blazed right next to Zekter, blindingly close to his left side. Waves of chronomancy power raged around him, slowing time as the Giga Drill exploded out of the maelstrom of Chaos Control, with R.D. pushing it through at breakneck speeds, his drill threatening to pierce right through the wolf's side.
Zekter was ready for anything from anywhere, and when R.D. appeared beside him he took action. What usually would have been a faster-than-light slash was reduced to a just-quick-enough attack due to R.D.'s little time-control trick. With a vicious slash from his glowing blue claws Zekter froze the Rising Dragon's weapon solid, even the flames that came from it were frozen over with a glowing blue ice.
The attack Zekter liked to call 'Locke Slash' simply froze anything his claws touched with a nigh unbreakable ice not of this world. Once the drill was rendered pretty much useless the metallic werewolf stopped it dead in its tracks using only his right arm.

Effects: Anything that the attack hits is knocked back and frozen to a great degree, and if the target hits another object it is frozen to that object. If the environment is especially cold this attacks rang is increased slightly.
Pros: Good for slowing down/incapacitating opponents, and forcing foes away.
Cons: Costs more mana than all of his other attacks.

Zekter paid no mind to the child's words, and just kept a firm look on his face. His red glowing eyes scanned the boy, carefully watching even the smallest of motions. As soon as R.D. came at him he pulled the spear from off of his back, and started knocking away every one of the boy's attacks. When the werewolf saw that R.D. was no longer in front of him he spun about, and hit R.D.'s wrist to avoid being hit by the teen's final attack.
"You're right boy, speed I have, and I see that I'll need more than that to defeat you..." Zekter jumped into the sky while putting his spear away. "Good thing I have it!" He yelled down to R.D. as his body began to emanate some sort of silver mist. The creature took a deep breath, and then released a mighty howl. A somewhat sheer but broad beam of ice identical to the ice he used in his Locke Slash came from Zekter's mouth, covering the area where they'd been fighting.
