Blazen stepped out of the shadows of the gates leading into the colesseum. The crowd cheered as they saw him step out. Blazen smirked, deciding to give them a show. He raised his hands to his waist as fire started to swirl around him. It continued into the air as two think strips of fire. They collided in the air making a large firework display. The crowd roared in gratitude.
Blazen relaxed and closed his eyes, enjoying the crowd's cheer. His head hung slightly as he grinned widely. His eyes then opened going upward. He looked through his blood red bangs to see the gate on the other side of the stadium, the one holding his opponent. Blazen tightened the fists at his sides. The air around him grew in temperature, out of anticapation. He couldn't wait to pound someone into the ground, showing how strong he was.
Blazen let his head raise a bit to get a clear view of his opponent when they would step out. His fists relaxed, letting loose some steam from his palms and sparks from his finger tips. Then thin streaks of fire began to jolt around him, acting like electricity. Blazen anticipated this moment so much, he finally had a chance to fight without limits and he even had a crowd to see him dominate his opponent. He felt this would be destiny, him being in a colesseum, defeating opponent after opponent, until it was fact that he was the best fighter. His thoughts broke once the gate for his opponent opened.

Rua Dragonheart stepped out into the light and the roar of the crowd. He had his sword drawn and activated, and he dug the tip of the blade into the dirt, holding the weapon almost as if it were a cane. The swordsman lifted his free hand into the air, firing off four beams of light energy, and four of dark energy. They swirled through the air in ornate designs, finally crashing into each other at the peak of the Colosseum, creating a massive orb of combined light and dark energy that rivaled Blazen's own display. The crowd roared in approval.
The former wielder of Lumiya had forgone his armor for this battle. He would rely on his sword and his skills. Rua stared emotionlessly across the battlefield at his opponent, the renowned God of Fire.
I may not win this battle, Rua thought, But I'll be damned if he doesn't have to work for it.
With that, Rua lifted his sword from the ground and pointed its azure crystalline blade at Blazen in a silent challenge.

Blazen merely folded his arms over his chest, almost mocking him. Then again, he owed this man for all he did back in the Fire Temple. Blazen shook his head to himself, he shouldn't have been so obnoctious with his body language. So to redeem himself he decided to speak with Rua before Blazen pounded him into the ground. "Rua...." Blazen called, being nearly a football feild away he had to speak loudly, "it's been a while. I have to thank you again for the Fire Temple incident, and I'm glad I can with a valient battle....so....how about he we get going and give these people a nice show?" He continued more telling than asking Rua, though a confirmation would raise Blazen's spirits.
As Blazen waited for Rua's responce, Blazen proceeded to his battle stance. He slide back his right leg and turned his body to the right, but not his head. He squatted down and let his left half fist go down by his waist, arm bent. His right hand, in the same basic formation was raised above his head. His back foot pointed forward while his left pointed to the right. He leaned his body forward a bit and towards Rua, going down and toward his foe at the same time. Blazen grinned, awaiting for a great fight.

Rua smiled. "Certainly, Blazen. Let's make this a battle to be remembered."
With that, he also shifted his body into a combat stance, holding his sword out in front of him, slanted diagonally and pointed slightly forward, while spreading his legs evenly, one slightly forward with the other back, balancing himself on his toes.
Tense and giddy with anticipation and excitement of the upcoming match, with the crowd of players and NPCs roaring around them, the two beta testers awaiting the sound of the gong to begin their battle.

Blazen exhaled and inhaled. He hoped this wouldn't be as irritating as his girlfriend's fight, then again he couldn't use fire then. Now he can, and without worries. As here if you died, you lost nothing. You would technacly not die as long as the flame on top of a monument on the left side of the colessuem burnt, there would be no death in legal fights. Blazen was comforted by that and excited.
The gong went off and the crowd cheered as the overseer in a box in a high point of the colleseum roared using a megaphone: "Go!"
Everything in Blazen's mind dissapeared all that was there was Rua, and defeating him. It seemed time froze for that moment before the start. Blazen pushed off his front foot, keeping his arms in thier positions. He ran fiercely at Rua, fire blazing from the ground behind him, leaving a trail. Once Blazen got close he would quickly lundge at Rua. His top hand quickly forming into a fist, it would slam downward on Rua's head. He would then bring his bottom hand to smash into Rua's jaw. Blazen would then being that arm's elbow to slam into Rua's stomach. Then Blazen would swing around and kick Rua across the face, with an angle to send Rua, air borne slightly. Blazen would then charge a flame in his right hand and blast out a spew of fire on Rua as he fell.

It is said that when in honorable battle, the only thing a warrior sees and feels is his opponent. This rang true for Rua, as everything seem to dim except for Blazen. Even the crowd quieted in Rua's ears.
When the gong struck, Rua also shot forward, a cloud of dust kicking up at his incredibly fast run. He caught Blazen's first swing soundly with his left hand, and blocked the other with his right arm. He shoved the grasped fist away and struck out with his own, sending it hurtling for Blazen's jaw. Hit or miss, Rua would follow up with a upward diagonal slash at Blazen's upper torso, followed again by a spinning back kick aimed at the stomach.

Blazen's hands caught, he paniced for a moment. Though as soon as it was released he was relieved slightly. Though that soon turned to pain as a fist came in contact with his jaw. He however was focusing on something else. A disc made of solid fire formed in Blazen's palm. That he used to block Rua's sword. He then reached out and grabbed his leg.
Blazen grinned as he took a deep breath and let it out in Rua's face as fire. The flame would be able to engulf Rua and burn him a bit, maybe not badly, but enough for some after effect. Blazen would also throw Rua's leg upward hoping to send him off balance after the flame shot out, making it harder to avoid Blazen's flame.

Rua recoiled as the flame was shot at him, and he raised his left arm to cover his face. Immediately the bluish-white flames of the Godhand attack burst to life, shielding his arm and face. His clothing was only singed, and Rua quickly regained his footing renewed his assault.
He reared his leg back and kicked upward at Blazen with enough force to send him airborne. Should it connect, he'd propel the God of Fire further upward with a Disrupter shot, and strike again with his sword as he fell.

Blazen flew upward but then curled himself into a ball. A dome of fire quickly surrounded Blazen, blocking the Disrupter attack. He then repsread his limbs, allowing the dome to spread quickly aiming to ram into Rua. It would hit hard, and of course add a burning effect. As that preoccupied Rua, Blazen landed and held both hands infront of him. A larger orb formed between his palms. It continued to grow and grow with fire jolting around it like how it did around him. Soon a large beam of fire broke free from the massive orb created by Blazen. Blazen dug his heels into the ground, to prevent him from falling from the force of the fire. The fire would rip through his dome and hit Rua, hard, burning him severly in the process.

Rua leapt back as the fire dome neared him far enough to escape harm, while charging up more light and dark energy together. He roared and lashed out with a Sonic Boom, which at such speeds obliterated the orb before it could even fire its beam and leaving the area effected looking like a warped, broken pane of glass. He would be amazed if Blazen were able to block the attack, or even dodge its high-speeds.

Blazen wasn't able to do neither, insted he flew like a rag doll into a wall. A dent in the wall, formed, cracking along it and spreading. The crowed roared loudly to the show of power by Rua. Blazen would have joined them if Rua weren't his opponent. Blazen pushed himself out of the crater he created. His body hung slightly as he panted trying to collect his composure. His arms seemed lifeless and his head hung as if he were being executed. His legs were spread, similiar to Rua's original stance. His legs wavered however, threatening to fall.
Though as it seemed Blazen was nearly defeated a blue aura surrounded him. The area became silent as Blazen slowly stummbled toward Rua his clothes and hair flickering to a blue color. Soon enough his hair and jacket had turned to a blue color similiar to his shirt. He then got his posture back and looked up to Rua, blood dripping from his lip. "Nice." Is all Blazen said after transforming to Blue Fire.

Rua made a steady run forward at Blazen, holding his blade out by his side with one hand, as the God of Fire changed forms.
"Finally getting serious?" he asked as he charged the god, taking his weapon on both hands and leaping upward, coming down hard with a vertical jumping slash.

Dust and fire circled Blazen as he crouched down and jumped up, avoiding Rua's attack. A blue streak followed Blazen as he rocketed upward. He went quite high and quickly. He then gathered hot air under his feet as he turned himself to face downward. He shot himself downward in the same manner and would divebomb into Rua with a dome of blue fire around the front of him. Blazen crossed his arms as well over his face, in oder to keep that from harm.

Rua managed to avoid Blazen--technically. As he crashed into the ground, it caused a mighty explosion that threw Rua several meters away. He rolled across the ground and righted himself into a kneeling position, holding his blade steadily at his side.
Quite suddenly, before the dust from the explosion could settle, Rua shot forward, almost as if he were gliding across the ground at high speeds. As he neared the God of Fire, he spun on his foot twice, and when he spun the third time, it was in a brutal spinning roundhouse kick aimed at Blazen's head.
