This thread is for an alphabetical listing of any normal/mutated animals, whether domesticated or wild, you can possibly encounter in Ymaggion. If you wish for this list to be expanded, go suggest a creature in the Creature Suggestion thread.
Cabbit
A cabbit is a crossbreed between a cat and a rabbit. They tend to appear in and near villages. They're often kept as pets by NPCs.
Guar
The Guar is a domesticated herd animal. Guar are herbivores and generally docile, though wild ones have been known to attack people that encroach on their territory. Guar are typically used as pack animals, as they can carry very heavy loads without much problem, and their hides are collected and used for making leather products. While their gaze may seem dumb, they are actually exceptionally intelligent animals. They tend to make a soft braying noise when others approach them.
Kryll
A mutant type of bat with two pairs of wings, one on top of the other. They group in massive swarms and appear only at night. They may die by a powerful light and are stunned by normal light. They have bright white or yellow eyes. White for male, yellow female.
The teeth on the Kryll are razor sharp as are the blades edged on the wings. One may be a nuisance for someone with alot of armor, but a swarm may get through even the toughest armor and dice away at their prey before carrying back the remains to the nest.
The Kryll usually live in run down buildings, enjoying the solitude in the day. They may also live in caves. The best defense would be either a shield of light or to remain in the light at all times until sun rise. Kryll are have a wingspan of roughly 2 feet at max.
Mutargato
A small black cat that seems nice and cute at first. It might play with you at first, but after a while, it's nails will grow all long and a long, pointy bone will come out of its tail. As it grows larger, it gains the ability to stand up like a human. It's long nails seem to be like long knives which turn purple, being coated in a kind of poison. It's teeth grow larger, too, to suck someone's blood with. Basically, it's like a poisonous, vampiric cat.
Netch
Netch are large, peaceful creatures resembling airborne jellyfish with the size and disposition of cattle. They are supported by internal sacs of magical vapors. Netch are herded by farmers in peaceful areas, as their hide makes a good quality leather. The female Betty Netch is smaller than the male Bull Netch, but is more easily provoked into aggression, especially in herds where the female-male ratio is kept lower than in the wild for faster breeding. Some Bull Netch, however, have a poisonous attack. Netch leather is a prized commodity due to how extremely light it is, making it ideal for use in balloon airships.
Rabite
The rabite resembles a small, bodiless rabbit with no legs, large ears that curve upward and form a point at the tip, and a round, puffy tail. Its English name is a portmanteau of "rabbit" and "bite", a reference to both its appearance and primary means of attack. Movement by the rabites is achieved by hopping along the ground by pushing up with the muscles on its underside, allowing it to move forward while propelling its body through the air. Despite their docile appearance, rabites can and most often will attack unprovoked, and remain a constant nuisance in whatever game they happen to be in. Their primary attack consists of lunging at an opponent, mouth agape, and biting down on them with their single, large tooth. In the event it becomes too wounded to fight or if it faces a threat too large for it to handle, it will attempt to flee. If it becomes surrounded it will then cover its face in a last bid for mercy.
'Splody Aqua Bully
A 'Splody Aqua Bully is a large, cow-like animal, usually colored blue, that can explode, creating a massive rain of water coming from it's body. Before that happens, however, they are fairly harmless, aside from maybe their dulled horns and weight. They are fairly common, mostly appearing near villages or places with lots of water, such as swamps or lakes.
