X-Men the neXt Generation takes place after the three movies.
A man that goes by the name of Kane has raised to power in the underground world. His terrorist group called "The Brotherhood of NOD" has attacked many places, and has recruited some of the worlds most feared and powerful mutants into there ranks.
To make matters harder for the X-Men, the cure failed! It did not last as forever. Instead it was only temporary. Magneto has come back as well, and has formed "The Brotherhood of Mutants." So not only does the X-Men have to fight NOD but also Magneto and his men.
Also, there have been rumors about a powerful mutant power surge all over the world. Some mutants have fled the planet, and have moved into space!
So, who's side are you on? Who will win? Only time will tell....
