Well, I sit here, looking at these old bones, with the tears filling up in my eyes... I still remember the day I registered here for the first time... I never knew how much of an impact tis site would make on my life... huh... I really miss this place... And I feel like she never got the farewell that she needed or deserved... This was the first RP board I ever came to... Epsilon will always have a very special place in my heart... So with that, I propose that we send her out with a blaze of glory. If anybody should read this, contact me, and we can talk about this.
But until then... I love you Epsilon... Goodbye, my dear friend...
Yours truly Mr. Lighter

After looking at Dirk's posts on facebook and stuff I have come to realize what an impact the world of Ymaggion has had on my life, and the lives of others. It shocks me to think I helped build this world. I was one of the earliest players back on IO where it all began, and I was actually a staff member of Epsilon for a good while...until I left for a time. The world known as Ymaggion and the Beta Test was my first RP experience, and I am happy to say so. We had everything in our world; ancient heroes (Juno & Kouken), men of mystery and valor (Rua & Matt), femme fatales (Alasea, Meta...), clones (Meta again, and the Mirror-Me's), world destroyers (Ziatoch), demons (Cora & Bruno, etc.), massive monsters (Carnax and the 7), deities (Blazen & Mars), half-breeds (Dante and Blazen again), Divine Guides and Rescuers (Awai), Riddles and Trials (The Legion Saga), video game characters (you know who you are), comic relief (Morph mostly, and Hugo ), Super Powerful Governments (The Staff and the Eight Dimension Council), plot twists (RD: "I have amnesia..." | Kuro: "I'm not really dead." | Alasea: "This is my father!" | Gahm: "None of this is real." | Kuro: "I'm actually dead this time."), cute animal-like characters (Teddy and Nya), Corruption (Kuro turning DragonFire & Morph evil), sad moments (death of Blazen's family, and I think Alasea's dad died too ), Magic and Science (EVERYWHERE), Unpredictable Foes (Akumu, Naze, Kuro, Re-Tuul, Reckoning & Dokuro, Malvetix), Quests of Redemption (Lee), Epic Battles (RD & Company Vs. Lee, Blazen Vs. Kuro, Ultima Vs. Col. Jessup, etc), Interdimensional Travel (Matt and the crew), Spin-offs (Epsilon, KIC, Titan Island, and who knows what else), and SO MUCH MORE. If somebody is up for an epic send off for this joint just let me know. I have an array of characters I can send your way. ~003~

The world of Ymaggion certainly has left its mark on my life. RPing with everyone has made me a better writer, and even as I moved on to other RP sites, my origins in the hobby were always in the back of my mind. Like with Juno and many others among you, it was my first RP experience, and I have to say I still rank it as one of my better ones. I liked how we had a big world, with high levels of magic and high levels of technology, outer space and other dimensions. It allowed for so many possibilities. I have to say I had totally forgotten about the Eight Dimensions Council! They didn't have a really big role though, I guess. What were the Eight Dimensions even supposed to be? If somebody is up for an epic send off for this joint just let me know. I have an array of characters I can send your way. Sounds interesting. What did you have in mind? And what characters are you even talking about?

Yeah, the EDC didn't really get a chance to develop before I left the IO RPG, but they were the light and dark balances of the 8 known dimensions Kuro traveled to upon discovering his ability to open portals to dimensions beyond Beta (the dimension most of the RPG takes place in). I was eventually going to use them to aid in the fight against Azaleas, but...again...left... Well, I had Jessup, Zekter, Sheishiro, James Bridges, Juno, Mars, Wallace, Echo, and NightShade & Kuro (who vanished in a fairly unexplained manner). But, seeing as how this is our farewell, I thought we could make an exception and throw 'em back into play. My idea is simple: The Staff has come to the conclusion that Ymaggion is simply too dangerous. Instead of risking another Beta Test tragedy with teens minds being locked inside a game again and the 9 Sons possibly killing them they are going to not only shut down the new game and the beta, but delete them completely. However, before this can happen, the big bads come at the tower to stop them and our heroes have to fight them off. Project Epsilon: The Final Fight. ~003~

Interesting. Did you have those other dimensions worked out in any extent? I could always use them as inspiration for things to add on to the D&D campaign setting of Ymaggion I'm creating. Who were James Bridges and Echo? I don't recall those names and didn't come across them while searching for stuff here and in the IO RPG the last few weeks. A final fight sounds good and I'd like to do that. You'd have to try to reach the others though. I know that RD only RPs very occassionally these days and not on Kingdoms In Conflict anymore, I think Blazen and Teej stopped, but I'm not sure, and I've lost sight of DreamSword, Ultima/Ryo, BD and Fallen. If we do this, I'd say at least no pitching characters of our own against characters of our own. Seems best to me in the spirit of RPing. I do still have Meta, for whom the idea was to absorb the power of the Sons of Darkness after they had fallen and kick of an entirely new Saga, but her fighting against everyone seems a bad idea, especially considering she'd then be several times Kuro's original maximum power and would casually be creating suns. (And yes, in their D&D incarnations I'll make it so that Kuro can create miniature suns with relative ease; I may slightly change the abilities of NightShade and Kuro to make them more distinct from one another and unique, give Cyrus more virus-related powers and create some game mechanics for Namonai's Mystery Form.) EDIT: Damn, I had forgotten I had made Meta use some strange language in the IO RPG and the Morph had become a God right before he was turned. o.O /reading through bits of it now

Holy Crap!! I forgot that too! I rarely used James & Echo, but I think they both have topics in the Colosseum. Echo was a raploid-like character, and James was originally an NPC I used with Jessup, but I liked him so much I decided to make him. Well, if we're gonna make it so we aren't fighting ourselves (and assuming we get folks back) I would see the fight going a little like this: Gahm-sensei, Rua Dragonheart, Fitz, DreamSword and Alasea Vs. Kuro Blazen, Blane, Sturm (can't remember is he's good or evil) and Dante Vs. NightShade Juno, Sheishirou, Col. Jessup, and Morph Vs. Naze Lt. Bridges, Samus Aran, Rain, and Master Chief Vs. Meta Well...... something like that. It's doable. I have info on the dimensions...somewhere. >.> ~003~

Turns out I had ALSO forgotten Meta had become the Dark Balance of the Nightmare Realm and Morph the Light Balance of it. Dang. Only those three Sons? Well, it'd depend on if Blazen would also want to bring back ZetsumeiRyu. I can imagine Zane being willing to pick up Akumu again for this. That leaves Ziatoch, Cyrus, Namonai and Kagai. I've actually tried to dig up what I can of the Dimensions, plus the info on the other Balances. It's not as much as could've been though, because you used pictures a lot to show what they looked like, and many of them no longer work. I've put that stuff up as a different discussion here. Anyway, since Rua and Alasea are both RD's, and Blazen and Dante both Blazen's, I wouldn't put them on the same teams, but that's just me. They might disagree.

So. I have just read through this little thread. I'm all up for a big, final send off. I have a staff character that could probably be pretty useful here (Solid Snake), and I know that the Order of the Silver Star could wrangle itself into this whole mess. It usually does.
Sturm is fairly evil. Really, he just likes lots of power, which I guess makes him bad, or something. He started out morally gray and never had a chance to grow.

Awai's fully armored legacy may be up for joining the fight, should it happen.

I was just thinking that, with this being such a massive fight, it would be easier for people to clump their characters rather than divide them among 2 or more enemies. I couldn't remember who controlled the other approved Sons, honestly, and I didn't remember if I ever registered Virus & Namonai. Also couldn't recall if Ziatoch ever crossed over. But, if we wanna have an all out showdown with The 9 Sons of Darkness + Meta I'm all for it. I suppose once people start coming over here they can decide who they want to team up with and fight against. Oh snap! Awai's apprentice! The things I forget... That would be sweet! She should totally battle Kuro...just sayin'. Wow... Completely forgot that Snake was Staff. >.> ~003~

You played NightShade, Virus/Cyrus, Namonai, Kagai and Kuro, out of which Kagai was the only one never registered. Blazen played Naze and ZetsumeiRyu, RD played Ziatoch and Zane played Akumu.
You're completely right in that players having their own characters team up against a single Son would be easier on each player individually, except the ones controlling the Sons of course. So especially yourself, Juno. Though on the other hand it also seems logical to pitch your good-side characters against someone other than the Sons you play yourself, since that'd be less RP and more fanfic.
Then again, I won't discourage you from doing that seperately from this. As in, fanficcing it up if you like.
