Darklighter realized that he had screwed up really badly. "OK" he said. "How about this. We strike a deal. You don't kill me, I don't try to kill you. I am creating an organization, and someone with your talents would be of great service. You will be one of the founders of a powerful group. I will put down my shotgun, and I hope you will have mercy. Plus, that s a pretty cool jacket. Seriously. I truly hope you will consider my offer." Darklighter said a silent prayer and stepped into the dim light of the tunnel, ready to face his fate, hoping that this wouldn't be the end.

Kite slung his sword over his shoulder then noticed Scept was also present, Well, well, what have we here...No way i'm buying this for a second, not with him around.
"How about this, put your shotgun down and tell me what the hell you're doing here before I start actually try-"
Kite was cut off by a loud cackling laugh that sounded like it could be coming from anywhere. He knew the laugh far too well; Ferus Flaylon was in the house. This spelled trouble in Kite's mind, I could take two gammas down easy, but were they to have Ferus with them, I wouldn't have a prayer.
Just as the laugh echoed through the building, a voice was soon hear,"Really now, McKnights, this isn't like you at all, normally you'd have killed him by now, not called for a surrender, don't tell me my favorite play thing has lost its touch."
Kite realized he would have to act fast to live. One path was blocked by Darklighter and Scept, whereas one more was blocked by Ferus for sure. He would have to pick 1 of 2 paths and hope that Ferus was not there. But even then, it would have to be cat and mouse for awhile before he could escape for sure. Kite was trapped, and this one was going to take some thinking to say the least.

Darklighter dropped his shotgun, pulled out his Ka-Bar knife, extended his arm blade and lunged at Kite's throat. He stabbed at Kite as many times as he could, looking for the beating pulse of Kite's heart. He stabbed downward, hoping to make contact with the knife. Darklighter moved at an unreal speed, partially because of Scept's time warp, and partially because of the adrenalin pumping in his veins. He hoped one of his would hit the zippered freak under him.

Darkrider saw a shady person lunging at another with some sort of knife, obviously with the intent to kill, along with another person engaged with some sort of spell. He aimed his rifle at the assailant, and let loose a salvo of fire. Batteries flew out of the gun and came down with a loud clank. He winced, and quickly switched position to avoid detection

"Fun fact..." Kite trailed off for a second. One weapon summoning later, he had a second gunblade in his hands, "Two swords are better than one."
Kite crossed both blades into an X-shape to stop the attack and forcefully pushed them towards Darklighter, hoping to send the knife flying from his hands.

Dappled moonlight washed down in flecks on the skin of a young, fair-skinned girl. The gleam in her long black hair sparkled like the stars themselves as she walked along, her dark clothing hiding her in the shadows of the forest’s trees. What might have been a breeze tugged at her long bangs, pulling them away from her eye and touching her shoulders lightly. Her bare shoulders shone brightly but not enough to give her away. Stealth was most definitely something she was good at, and what she wore proved it. Her shirt, falling just at the curve before her hips, was held up only by thin straps; they straps criss-crossed over her back before ending in a thin strip of cloth. The cloth: leather. Her cargo pants of choice were tonight a very dark washed camouflage, and her belts matched well. Her weapons belt, covered in slick metal and many different weaponry necessities crossed over a thick, black, leather belt with a silver jolly roger buckle. Her usual combat boots were on her feet, and those ever worn leather gloves.
Tonight, she traveled without her wolven companion, but felt no less secure in the shadows of the woods. She, a demon rogue, was nearly untouchable by opposing forces, and because of that she walked with an air of confidence. She nearly screamed at others, “I am the force you wish you had.” Determination filled her eyes with every passing glance, and her steps were purposeful, carrying her toward what she knew was both her end and yet her greatest battle.
But tonight was not to be her death, and as a single raindrop found its way from the sky to her face, she paused. Shelter was needed, and soon. She couldn’t allow her daggers and sword to be out in the rain for too long. A cave caught her eye, and she started toward it, aware of the ever growing force in the rain. The moon shown bright overhead, assuring her that if she was to need her canine friend, he could be there. As she approached the mouth of the cave, voices sounded from within. Male, and many of them. Caution brought her to a halt. She stood, listening intently, catching the hostility and tension. But it was not against her she knew, it was a masculine stand-off, one she could quite easily pacify.
Stepping into the cave, still invisible in the darkness, she spoke fiercely, “Oh, kiss and make up already. And make room would you? It is only polite to make space for a lady.”

Darklighter stabbed low with his retractable blade, hoping to hit the unprotected stomach of Kite. He stabbed as fast he could, not needing to worry about power with the razor sharp blade. He kept his knife pointed at Kite's head, kept away only from the two blades wielded by McKnights. He let the knife go and whipped out his .45. He aimed it point blank at Kite's zippered chest. He squeezed the trigger five times, and stabbed again with his blade. Where the frick is that voice coming from? it sounds...female.

Kite saw the stabs coming, unfortunately from him. Well, this is just peachy...
He hit the deck as fast as he could, but this still didn't stop two of the bullets from grazing the side of his shoulder.
"Dammit..."
He knew it was time to take the kid gloves off and start using techs. He thought of how to liven things up and get an advantage when suddenly it hit him.
"You may have those silver bullets...but i've got these gold fingers!"
Solis disappeared from his right hand as a green glow began to emanate from the hand.
"This hand of mine glows with an awesome power, its burning grip tells me to defeat you..."
Kite charged for ward. He quickly pulled his hand back but left it open instead of closing it. He suddenly surged his hand forward. For some strange reason, this technique was able to bypass the time field leaving little room to dodge.
"Here I go, SHINING FINGER!"
The bright hand surged forward to grab the gun and crushed it within its grip, leaving Darklighter without his ranged advantage, and Kite with a lamb for the slaughter.

"The voice amplification spell really did the trick, didn't it?" Perrin asked of his employer as he sat down on a log in a nearby grove. The trees behind the sorcerer blocked most of the moonlight, and only small beams filtered through the leaves. He took out a small crystal caged in gold and held on a thin chain out of a pouch on his belt and weaved a single flow of magic through it, tying it off when it began to glow. He laid the Lightstone down gently on a rock, illuminating himself and Ferus Flayon in their campsite. "The echoes McKnights undoubtedly heard should bring him closer to a panic."
Golden eyes peered down at a spell Perrin began to weave, holding his hands splayed out at an angle as he mentally directed several complex, subtle weaves down through the ground, towards the tunnels below. Concentrating on the life forces of those within the tunnels, he quickly detected the beings down there and tied off the flows, completing the scrying spell. Beneath his hands, a misty veil formed, spreading outward before the insides cleared. A firefight bloomed before them, as one person shot wildly at one who was most definitely Kite McKnights. As Perrin watched, McKnights fell back before his hand began to glow brightly. The voices filtered out to them, the volume low so not to attract undue attention.
"So, what are your plans for him this time around?" the sorcerer asked of Flayon.

OOC: Hey, BD! no godmoding. Please edit that. AND you cannot duck out of the way from five bullets at point blank and have three miss completely, and two just graze. A .45 ACP round leaves the barrel at over 1100 feet per second. That is just an insane idea that you can duck away! Please fix that.

OOC: Hold on here. Before you whine about me dodging everything Quote Unquote God-modding, what do you call Darkrider shooting at you and you acting like it never even happened? Much less the fact that Kite hit the deck the second you stabbed, which was before you fired the bullets. I know guns well enough to know how fast a .45 fires, and how can it be godmodding if I ducked before you shot? And again, I activated the gale last page. This makes that 15 MPH wind blow with Kite when he ducks forward, and would provide extra momentum. Kite's also fast as hell. that much speed should be enough to hit the deck before you pulled the trigger. Besides, he did take damage.
Ferus had an apple from a tree in his hand as he ate it. He was perched up in a tree with one knee pulled up to his chest and his leg hanging down over the tree. Ferus gave Perrin a dark chuckle.
"Kite's lost right now. He has no where to go, no one that trusts him, nothing. With that silly organization that's using the mole within the staff, they're too busy with that to care about us, all except Kite. If we take him out, then there's no one left with a considerable interest in us. We could operate alot more smoothly not always having to worry about the staff."

OOC: Not to be a pain, but could someone make at least an attempt to pull my character into this? She did actually jump in and speak directly to them, it seems odd that she wasn't noticed.

(OOC: Yes, someone please respond to Akanyara's character, please. It is only polite, after all.)
"It's not the Staff that I'm worried about," Perrin said, altering the weaves to show the scrying at a different angle. He could see someone approaching from the entrance of the cavern, but just barely, and not enough to discern the person's gender or abilities. "Its likely that McKnights is looking for his old friends to aid him in his endeavor. Like Dragonheart. If he spins the tale to them the right way, they'll help him."
Cutting of the scrying spell, Perrin cast another one, this time somewhere off in the distance, away from the entrance of the tunnels. As the weaves took form, the misty screen once again opened, this time depicting a cyan-haired woman clad in white and gold armor and clothing, sneaking through foliage while carrying a shimmering bow. Perrin's mouth twisted in distaste as he viewed Liatas. "Looks like she hasn't found any other entrance inside of the tunnels yet," the sorcerer said. "She'd likely have found one by now, so chances are there isn't another way out, or if there is, its hidden by magic. If it is, I'll need to go out and find it."
Turning towards Ferus, the yellow-eyed mage cocked his head to the side. "Are you absolutely sure there's another Vault somewhere in this blasted forest? It'd be useful if we found another Vault, but at this rate it may take forever to find it. Using the demons we got out of Hell's Vault will garner too much attention if we use them to search."

OOC: Okay. I'm going to back this up a bit. Darklighter, BD, and Darkrider were all unspecific at one point in time, and it's led to multiple cases of chaos. Basically, I'm going to fix this. I'm going to power-play a little bit, scratch that, alot, so we can steer clear from this messy violence. I truly am sorry about this, and I know you have your pride, but this is pretty much the only way this can be fixed as I see it. I will undo what has already been said, and I will rework what has already been done. Oh, and I'll do the impossible. Enjoy.
"Enough!" Scept bellowed, and he issued energy like he never had before. He was in a control; he was the master while in the time field. Everything that moved he could feel, everything that went in or out, he could feel, he was in such control that he could slow the heartbeat of his enemies down to a point where they would no longer be living. As Darkrider's rifle bullet neared the time field, Scept hardened the outer shell. Even with the speed of the projectile, the newfound power shattered it on impact.
With speed beyond reckoning, Scept's hands flew out and disarmed the two men in front of him. He forcefully removed the knife from Darklighter's hand, and slipped the hidden weapon and the pistol out from his hold. Moving over to Kite, he twisted the gunblades out from the administrator's hands before he would even have realized the first motion was toward him. Throwing all the weapons down the tunnel away from the combatents. Finally, he extended a hand to both of their necks and squeezed, allowing volts of electricity to be shot into their body, effectively paralyzing and dropping both. The paralysis would wear off in a few seconds.
"Best be nice to each other," Scept chuckled and formed a time tunnel out of the cave and the boy dissapeared in an instant.
