Darklighter crawled through the long, dark tunnel, fifty feet under the forest above him. He knew that the Angel Police would never find him here. He pressed himself flat against the damp earth, trying not to hit his head on the ceiling above him, wishing he could have found a taller passage way. Suddenly, the tunnel went dark. He muttered, "I need a flashlight that isn't made of fail." He tossed aside the useless hunk of plastic behind him. He kept crawling, groping in the dark. After another twenty minutes of crawling, fending off cobwebs and the occasional rat, he made it into the main cavern. "Perfect" he said to himself. He looked up, and estimated that the cavern was about twenty feet high and fifty feet wide. He saw a mining cart and a left over shovel and pick ax. He walked over to the shovel and picked it up. "Time to get to work." He started digging a larger passage, so he could get cement, more tools, and some basic food stuffs down into the tunnel. After a week of digging, He made it back up to the surface. Proudly, he looked back at his work. " A week of hard labor" he a said to himself. "Now, time to find some workers. But as for right now, I need tools. I've been talking to myself a lot lately. I wonder if I should be worried. No. I'm fine."
He heard the voices of angels distantly. "Oh hell," he muttered. He ran back down into his tunnel and ducked behind a large rock. The officers blindly ran into the tunnel. He squeezed off two rounds with his silenced .45 auto and the Angels fell dead. Looting the angels, he drug the bodies into the mine. Darklighter had heard rumors that the Angel Police come back to life, but was not sure how. Just to be safe, he tied them up using some old rope he found in the mine. He knew that more Angels would be after him, so he rigged up a makeshift tripwire out of an old piece of rope, some wood, and one of the few working lights that he found in the mine. He set it up so that when someone entered the mine, the light would turn on, alerting him of the presence of a stranger. He set up his laptop computer, and began working on the design layout of the bunker. Total, it would be 50 miles of concrete bunker, similar to that of a military base. But as for right now, Darklighter knew that he would never get anywhere without the tools, workers, and supplies he needed.

Scept walked slowly through the woods, taking the wild-life into peaceful perspective. Turning his head slowly, he watched as small creatures scurried away from his slow footsteps as they pushed down the growth that was already pushed mostly down. Someone had been here recently, but who would be out this far? It wasn't a real surprise though if one took a moment to consider the people probably in the game...
Moments later, though, a clearing appeared, and cave came into view. Silently he began to move into the opening, making his footsteps as silent as possible while entering the damp blackness.

Kite entered the scene and saw the bodies of the angels lying on the ground. He knew two of them, so needless to say he had blood on his mind. He reached down and checked the warmth, it wasn't too long ago that they were killed. He tried to call for backup, but he got radio static and going out just didn't seem warranted; the kill was sloppy; the killer was hiding most likely. Nevertheless, he did feel the urge to go after who or what did this and beat the hell out of it.
Well, at least now I have something to take my stress out on.
His stress referred to two major problems: having internal affairs scoping him out as an alleged prime suspect in the mole case, and the unfortunate issue of seeing the order that Rua Dragonheart was now an S.O.S. (shoot/slash on sight) class criminal, which made no sense. Regardless, this helped solve some issues for now.

Darklighter continued digging out another passage. His arms hurt like hell, but he felt like it was worth it. He had made some progress, but it was slow. "I need some minions" he sighed to himself. Suddenly, his detection light turned on. "DAMMIT!" he yelled. "More Angels." He pulled out his .45, ready to kill the Angels. He dunked down behind a rock. He heard footsteps coming down the shaft. He stuck his head out from behind rock. Instead of an Angel, he saw a 16 year old kid in Russian camouflage. "HEY" yelled Darklighter, "YOU!, Russian kid!" He slowly walked up to the teenager, handgun still ready, prepared for anything.

Kite heard yelling from not far away and followed a corridor to what he thought was the origin of the sound but was really just a dark hallway.
Dammit, the sound echoes around in here!

Scept bent down and picked up the flashlight Darklighter had dropped before. Sending a surge of electricity through it, allowing light to gush out from the end. "That's better," he muttered, "I hate the dark." Walking slowly toward Darklighter he shined the flashlight indirectly at him and said in a quiet voice, "Keep it down, I'm not the one you should be worried about here. From the voice, it's either Kite McKnights or one of his many relatives in here. I can almost hear the zippers clinking around right now."
Placing a hand on the rock wall, Scept issued a time field from his hand, letting the geometric patterns envelope himself and the one with a gun. "Do you have a plan?"

OOC: "I can still hear the zippers clinking around" - Sadly, this is correct...
Kite heard the voice and rather hastily took off his jacket and threw it to an opposite corner, so that the jingling seemed to be coming from a certain direction. He planned to charge in from the side opposite where he threw the jacket with his now, non-clinking jacket. He then stopped and realized something.
If I go in with both gunblades, Solis gives off enough light to give me away. Looks like I'm only using one for the minute.
He summoned Lunis to his right hand and charged in from the side opposite of his clinking jacket. He jumped up into the air and drew the sword back, "Here I go, Sonic Burst!"
Kite lashed his arm and the sword across in an arc, which fired a crescent-shaped arc of energy at Darklighter and Scept from the sky.

Darklighter heard the jingle of the zippers coming form the middle of the cavern. He wheeled around, shotgun pointed at main entrance, ready to blow the hell out of anything. He asked the teenager next to him "What are we fighting?" No response was given. Darklighter heard a voice roar "Sonic Burst!" He dropped his shotgun and sprinted to the old mining cart. Using all his weight, he pulled the cart over, hoping to cover himself from the blast. He felt nothing. He emerged from underneath the cart, handgun pointed at where the voice had last been, wondering why he wasn't dead. He then saw the energy blast, frozen in mid air. He heard Russian kid ask, "Do you have a plan?" Darklighter replied "Yep. We will collapse the tunnel on him. Then, we'll blow his head in with m shotgun." He then walked over to where he threw his shotgun, then picked it back up and gave a slight snicker. "Let's do this thing."

OOC: Yeah, just ignore the screaming swordsman and energy wave of death HEADING RIGHT AT YOU.

OOC: I believe the general idea is that Scept's time field slowed/stopped the blast to an extent where it no longer hit Darklighter.

OOC: Ribitta is right. I was not sure how this was going. Scept stopped time, but then Kite launched his death wave. I seemed like the most logical thing would be to have it in the order of Kite launching his death wave, then Scept stopping time. Sorry if there was or is any confusion.

Vulcan noticed a comotion of the otherwise relatively quite forest, when he noticed the little hell being raised. Thinking he was under attack, he activated camoflauge and threw a grenade into the general area, and then took cover behind a tree.

Darklighter ducked under the slow moving wave of death and walked toward the caster. He sprinted toward Kite, and stopped about five feet away. He aimed his 12 gauge shotgun at Kite, and squeezed of 4 high-powered shells, then ducked into one of the dark corners of the mine, waiting for Scept to do something useful.

Seeing that nothing happend, he crept out of his hiding place and found a cave opening, raising his rifle to his shoulders, his visor was lined down the irons. He slowly advanced, being careful not to cause any commotion.

Kite managed to dive to some crates directly to his left, but a few strays pierced his right shoulder, causing him a great amount of grief as he felt the pain sear through his veins like a burn that wouldn't heal.
"Point blank shotgun, now you're just cheating."
Kite stood up and chuckled as a wind current of around 15 MPH began to blow in the area, moving from behind Kite forward, "Care to try your luck against the gail? Come at me, I dare you."
