"I... Don't... Lie..." Xoquoxitill answered.
After Xoquoxitill's statement, he changed from his shade form to his Divine Body, showing purple gems placed all around his armour and runic symbols with a purple glow placed around them. They glowed brighter, expelling the Nightmare Realm's essence into the air and trapping them within a giant void from the Nightmare Realm. The transformation also made the God's language easier to hear.
"I only wish to cause harm to prevent the dangerous from happening. I do not wish to cause harm to you, because no good will come of it... "
Then an arrow was shot at the Nightmare God.
"Looks like I have no choice..."
He then began to teleport almost a zigzag pattern from one point to the other. These left afterimages where he once was, and to make it harder for his enemies, they faded away VERY slowly. Once he reached Riul, he attempted to grab her by the throat with his Gauntleted claw, and with the other one, would attempt to deliver a very forceful punch to her gut. He made sure to pull this punch because he doesn't like to kill, unless it is of a wicked threat to earth. This punch will simply knock the wind out of her, and the Nightmare God will wait for her to recover before talking or attacking again.

"Hmph," Riul grunted, immediately throwing a pair of fingers to her temple, activating the Eyes of the Seer. The slow-fading effect counted as a visual-impairing buff, and Riul's enhanced vision sliced through the copies and picked up the real copy immediately.
Riul pushed her feet into the eagle beneath her, moving her body away from Xoquoxitill's attack. As she moved, tunnels in the clouds formed on either side of her, and a mirror formed at the right angle in the tunnel. The tunnel began at the horizontal plane of the top of the cloud, and moved down vertically until it hit a ninety degree turn. On the turn, it struck a mirror, bouncing the light into the sphere that was the battleground.
As the light rays moved in, Riul summed a prism at the center of the beams, and light tore through the sphere amazing energy of light that was fortified by Riul's magic to do substantial damage to anything caught in the frenzy.

As soon as the prism was summoned, the Nightmare God used his Reality Manipulation technique to change the prism into a reverse prism, which automatically changes any element it gets into contact with into its opposite. So instead of light rays coming from the prism, a darkness cloud spilled from it instead. This made the Nightmare Realm battleground more intense on the body AND the mind.
"Stop... I do not wish to kill you..."

A shiver went down Kasdim-Ur's spiritual back, and he glared ahead, his eyes narrowing as they settled on the storm cloud that blocked the place where the sun used to be. He began to slow his walk, letting the humans gain ground ahead of him, and eventually stopped competely. The astral form bathed in illusion of his former human body continued to watch the people get farther ahead. Then when they had gained sufficient ground so as to not notice, he waved his hand in the air, then brought it down swiftly before him. The air wavered as though distorted by great heat, and the remnants of a temple whisped back and forth before him. Quickly he stepped through, his fun was over, he had work to do.

Tsaul was confused. He knew Xoquoxitil was not to be trusted, but there was something strange about this. He had no tactical advantage; there was no reason; and if he wanted to kill them, he would have done it from the shadows. On the other hand, Tsaul had heard some of the stories and was unsure of his opinion.
What do we do here...? Can we trust him...?
Tsaul noticed Kasdim's latest actions, "What's up with you?"

OOC: Sorry for the delay, Zane.
Riul grunted as her attack was turned on herself. It was a fearsome ability to say the least, one she'd need to be careful of. Breathing softly, she murmered, "Darkness... is only the absence of Light." She cancelled the creation of the prism immediately and formed four new tunnels, cutting off the original two. Prisms formed at the center of these and light filled once more. Through this, Riul bellowed.
"Nor do I wish to end your existance, god of the Nightmares. You do not belong here. Leave this place immediately, and nature can resume its Balance."

Xoquoxitill then formed the Black Stone God Hand in front of him, and instantly turned it into a DarkSteel metal. As the hand opened up it reflected the light away from Xoquoxitill, and once again, reversed it.
"I am here for a reason. I was down there to protect this land from a new era of chaos," Then, after he said this, you could see that something is clearly wrong with the God of Nightmares... His head and neck twisted and twitched to the side, and the colors of his armor were replaced by their inverse color. Lastly, he said in a deep and threatening voice,"The artifacts must not be touched..."

After a moment, her scanners went back down, and the threat assessment lowered down to zero, just as Xoquoxitill disappeared from her visor screen. With a sigh, she switched the Dark Visor off, returning to her Combat Visor, and moving on--she couldn't let strange occurrences distract her from her set objectives.
After a bit of movement, she noticed Tsual's lifesigns moving back on her radar display, and she stopped to look back, seeing both of them leaving. She sighed, then turned back--she was better off traveling alone. She began making her way back along the stone path, heading back for the concealed city where the Cult lied in wait.

OOC: Sorry again, school is busier than I had thought before... and there are other variables
"Two," Riul muttered absentmindedly as the light shifted to darkness once more. At the sight of the spiked Darksteel hand she placed her hands together, allowing energy to come flowing from them. A crystal formed around her body, supporting it in a hovering place as the eagle that she had been standing in dissipated. "This is not your balance factor, Nightmare. This is not your duty. Return to the shadows where you belong and where you rule."

"Then go in my place... Make sure, that Ymaggion stays safe. The warriors, must not touch the artifacts they will discover." Xoquoxitill answered. "I will only leave on these terms."

Riul released a bated breath, relief touching her words she said firmly, "That is why I am here in the first place. There is a darkness here that I must bring to balance. I will protect this area, so please, go to where you belong, Xoquoxitill."

The Nightmare God nodded his head, and faded into nothingness.

Tsaul hadn't moved during the entire conversation and was a little stunned at what all had unfolded. The Nightmare God shows up, then just disappears? Why would he? There were too many loopholes for him to fill in the blanks now.
"So what were we doing again?"

"Came back, did you?" Samus asked, looking over her shoulder. Looking back forward as she began walking down the path, now with the stranger absent, she felt she could be a bit more safer with discussions. "Tsual, you heard about the Quarantine that we set up in the lands beyond the Great Wall, right?"

The Master Chief paused at the rock at the end of the swath he had cut with the laser. The storm pounded upon everything in the area while lightning tore the sky and thunder shattered the hum-drum of the rain splashing into puddles already formed. Climbing up the rock, which was higher than it had seemed from farther back, the Master Chief could see above some of the growth.
A large ziggurat-styled temple stood amidst the trees and brush, the colors blending in with the rest of the Rainforest. "That's where we need to be, Chief... But you're not going there, are you?" Cortana's voice broke through the speakers smoothly, her question sounding like a statement. The administrator shook his head slowly once, and his visor pivoted to another cut down area. Smoke could barely be seen filtering into the air of the village that had to be over there. A smile would have crossed Cortana's face if she had had one, and she spoke firmly, "Best to know one's enemy and destination before meeting it."
