Well, I got a couple of ideas now. If I would go with themes based off games, anime, and movies, then it would include something like this:
MegaMan, Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, Mario, Donkey Kong, Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Tomb Raider, Sonic The Hedgehog, Final Fantasy, Tales of Symphonia/Phantasia/the Abyss/Eternia, Soul Calibur, Street Fighter, Tekken, King of Fighters, Dead of Alive, The List goes On, etc.
If I would go with general themes, I would include areas based of "elements", or stuff like that:
Vulcanic area, Undead area, Underwater area, Powerplant area, Indiana Jones temple-ish area...

I would think that's the best idea so far. For the area we could have:
Laberynth (sp?) Artic Post Apoctolypic Prehistoric Future Cyber Dessert Tundra Flooded City

I was kind of thinking that this super-dungeon would, on each floor, cause like a powerful illusion to make areas that would totally be surreal given the layout of the dungeon.
Anyways.
Let me fix that list for you, Blazen.
Labyrinth Arctic Post Apocalyptic Prehistoric Future Cyber Desert Tundra Flooded City
There you go.
Other areas can include:
Forested Sky Island (series of small islands floating in the sky) Cavern complex Mines Ghost Town Extraterrestrial

There should be shards of an item placed 2 each on every floor, collecting all of them creates a bridge to a hidden level of the place...

Hmm.. how about also different levels where different skills would be required. Like,
Fire Water Lightning Earth Dark Light Flying/Leaping Strength Speed Et cetera.
Idk, just a base idea. You can expand on it or scrap it. >.>

You must have 10 star-chips from the previous floors to get past floor ten(or higher)
.....What?

I know no one has posted on this in a while, but I still liked this idea. I also got an idea for a "final" boss for the super-dungeon.
How about, instead of some powerful generalized super-boss, how about the dungeon searches the player's mind and recreates a super-boss based off of their memories.
Like, if R.D. or Alasea was there, Re-Tuul would be the boss. Or if Blazen was there, Drathsor (whom I haven't introduced in the IO RPG yet) would be the boss. Or if Kalmar was there, Quinlynn would be the boss. So on and so forth.
Thoughts?

Sounds like a good idea. I can already see Adam's mind forming an angry Areni for him to fight. XP
Another boss could also be one that looks like a kid, but is crazily powerful until the kid's power source is found, or something.

Either an angry Areni or a Gahm that's convinced Adam is sleeping with his daughter. >.> That'd make Adam fly off screaming in terror.

Hmm, here's a few ideas for rooms/chambers: - A Magma chamber where all the platforms you have to use to get across slowly start sinking once you enter the room.
- A Null-Magic hall where the player's' magic is disabled and the enemies are savage berserks or maybe even archmages.
- A King's' room where all of the enemies are elites/bosses and only one player may go through it at a time.

Magma chamber idea isn't that great--some characters are capable of flight. Also, Archmages are usually resistant to magic, so they wouldn't be a good idea for enemies in a magic-nullified room.

Hmm, well, we could always have the magma chamber dissable flight and giant leaping as well.
As for the Archmages, then put em in a 'No Physical Attacking' zone.
