So I was thinking, "Where in the name of strawberry-flavoured gummy bears does our little RPG story take place?"
Because there are a lot of game characters in it, I thought "a game". I even tried to actually turn it into a game, with a story idea a little like .hack//SIGN.
PHAIL.
But now I think again... it could be a highly advanced game produced by a lot of companies working together. Do you see Ubisoft working together with Konami? I do now! XP
But it would explain a lot. However, I think that the MAIN characters, such as me, Juno, Blazen, Zane, Jaden, etc. should actually not be too much alike these game-characters. However, since Juno is, well, Juno, he is a little more like an exception. (Just have him be more like you yourself want him to be, instead of exactly like Mega Man Juno, Juno.)
But then comes more thoughts.
If it is a game, what kind of game is it? I mean, a lot of people are in it, so it should actually be a kind of MMO. And since it is called "An RPG", it should be an MMORPG.
However, in an MMORPG, there usually are character classes. Rarely are there none.
But if there are to be character classes in the RPG, what should they be like? Juno is kind of a kind of Warrior, just with a Buster instead of a sword. Zane used cards to summon monsters, so he could practically be a summoner. And Blazen, being a master of fire, could be a highly specialized Elementalist, with the element of Fire, of course, and I, Morph, am Mr. Jack of All Trades.
Please share your thoughts with me here. Would be appreciated.

Alright Morph, I like your idea on classes, I'd take paladin if anything, then I could get an UBER-cool Gunblade. In terms of places, in a way it ammounts to the characters we use. If we were to use all custom characters it wouldn't matter much, we could just make up a place. If we want to use some pre-existing characteres too, then we would need some places those characters are from too. So in a Way a Kingdom Hearts'y multiple worlds style would work best. If we use Pre-existers and Customs, then here's my theory. Have all of our characters from different gagmes and have them accidentally bumping into each other and purging some to be named evil force from their worlds. We could include Pre-existers this way too.

Yes, the thing with original and game characters is indeed making things more complicated. That's why I thought of that "multiple companies working together to create an MMORPG" thing, in which the game characters would be 'bosses', trainers, helpfull guides or one of those people rising every few months to take over/destroy the world. ;p

The MMORPG plan is still in affect, as far as I know. 'Tis a good plan, too. Also, I believe we'd have to throw Capcom & SNK into the mix, sense we do have Roll, Trigger, Rugal and other Capcom and SNK characters in it.
I believe the setting for the MMORPG is a mix between Terra of MML, regular Earth, and original lands such as the Satsu Kingdom. Then there are of course other realms, The Blood Beach, The Room, etc. etc. So I guess it's on Earth, just with some additional places.
As far as classes are concerned I think it's a pretty good idea. Just one little thing I noticed, Juno's primary purpose isn't to fight, but to maintain the amount of carbines on Kattelox and keep The System dominant on the island...or is to my understanding. So, he wouldn't technically be a Warrior until he goes into 'limbo' and earns the ability to transform in to a Purifier.
Anyhow, that kinda sum it up?

Time for some Blazen magic.
Ok. *lays a map on the table* Now we must move in here to flank the enemy and...what? Oh right. Just need the map not directions...
Ok, when it started out, I say the Calm Waters itself, or atleast a ship of some kind, docked. Then we move out to oh, a field, mountains? Nothing major. Then out more to a grassy wasteland with some hills, then we move on as the story goes. Juno has the idea, I just provide detail, shizzle.

What kind of ship is the S.S. Calm Waters anyways? Cruise ship, galleon, what?

The S.S. Calmwaters is a kind of ship like a more modern Titanic, but one that is truly unsinkable, simple because it's so awesome. Anyways, a mix of Terra, Earth and Satsu Kingdom? Well, I thought, since prolly multiple companies would have produced the game (already spoke of the character's purposes), then the place were it all takes place should also be much unlike real Earth, but still be quite alike it, y'know? So the world it's in should actually be original. We could do the seven continents as on Earth, but shape them differently and perhaps give them new, original names. Such as perhaps "Ymaggion" (Imagion, Imagine). What say you?

Well, we're looking for names for continents here, so we'll have seven winners in the end. We could call Hell "Hades", but then again, so is named your brother, Blazen. But Heaven could be called Elusis or something. Anyway, continent names, yes?

Well, I think one should be Japanese/Chinese/Korean-ish (Asia), one Norse/German-ish (Europe), one or two Engl-ish (North America and Oceania/Australia), and two others Spanish/Porteguese (South America) and French/English/Afrikanish (Africa). But that's just a suggestion.

Well... Oceana sounds like a good enough name for the Oceana/Australia bit.

Sadly, I can only think of two names, for two continents.
