NPC or PC: NPC
Real- Life Character Name: n/a
Ymaggion Character Name: Liatas Lionheart
Alias: None
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Nationality: Zailleon
Rank: Beta
Strengths/Weaknesses: Liatas maintains a balance in her abilities, with focus on agility and speed, preferring to strike rapidly and repeatedly while being able to dodge and maneuver well. As a result, her strength is only mediocre, and her prowess in magical abilities, while often used, is only mediocre. Liatas is often referred to as a “siren” type of character, as she’ll lure many to her, only to betray and slaughter them, giving her an untrustworthy reputation. Liatas is proficient with just about any type of long-range weapon, and is able to quickly adapt the weapon to her particular fighting style. However, she finds herself ill at ease with other types of weapons, and hates using most sword-type weapons.
Clothing/Armor: Liatas wears elegant, exquisite clothing, consisting of a short-sleeved yellow-gold shirt, patterned with silver flowers, and an ivory-white skirt that falls down to just above her knees. Two loincloths are sown into the back and front for the skirt, falling down to just above the ankles, each bordered in gold fabric and threaded with silver designs. Over her shirt she wears a bright yellow coat that embroidered floral designs threaded in white. Gold chain and light plate armor adorn her chest, shoulders, and hips, resting over her clothing. Her wrists are protected by gold-plated bracers, and gold-plated boots adorn her feet and shins. Liatas also wears an exquisite, silver-white shawl that’s looped over her forearms and around her back.
Physical Appearance: Liatas is a slender, stunning young woman of a short stature. Her body build is slim and athletic, with rather developed arm and leg muscles. She has a rather pale complexion, as if she has not been in the sun for very long stretches of time. Her hair is long, extending to just past her shoulder blades, and a pale cyan in color. Part of her face, including her right eye, is obscured by the bangs, which are pulled over to one side. Liatas’ eyes are a glittering, alluring violet color. With a prominent bust and many curves, she has a body that’d make heads turn, and she will flaunt it when trying to distract or lure others into her dangerous web.
Personality: On the outside, Liatas exudes a friendly, outgoing, and flirtatious, often seductive, demeanor. Her attitude will often attract others to her, given the aura of dangerous allure she exudes. This is merely, however, a façade. Beneath her friendly exterior, a savage and cruel woman lies. She delights in the suffering of others, and can play terrible mind games on others just for pleasure. She rarely does not have some ulterior motive when dealing with other people, and often psychologically destroys people before she is done with them.
Liatas is very difficult to anger. In fact, the only one who is able to set her off in a short amount of time is Perrin Valtheran (who can piss her off just by being near her.) When it comes down to it, Liatas will choose herself over others, preferring to save her own skin with things go downhill for her.
Equipment:
Starlight Bow – Liatas’ main armament is an enchanted war bow that produces its own energy-crafted arrows.
Miscellaneous Items: None.
Elemental Affinity: None.
Special Abilities: Liatas has an unusually high reaction time and maneuvering speed, making it very difficult to strike her in melee combat. She is a master markswoman, and rarely misses her mark with a ranged weapon. Using magical power, Liatas has the ability to attune herself to the life forces in the surrounding area and transfer these energies into a source of luminescence, allowing her to see her enemies covered in a slight glow only she can see.
Transformations: None.
Techniques:
1. Homing Shot
2. Fire Arrow
3. Cold Arrow
4. Bolt Arrow
5. Exploding Arrow
6. Ice Arrow
7. Thunder Arrow
8. Immolation Arrow
9. Freezing Arrow
10. Storm Arrow
11. Light Arrow
12. Dark Arrow
13. Multiple Shot
Super Techniques:
1. Strafe
2. Heaven’s Rain
Battle Style: Liatas is superb at long-range combat, and does her best to stay away from close-range opponents. She is extremely skilled at dodging enemy projectiles that don’t move as fast as bullets. She rarely stays in one place, preferring to move about as she attacks her enemies with the Starlight Bow.
Companions: Liatas often travels with other groups of players that don’t realize she’s a Mirror-Me. Currently, her companions consist of Perrin Valtheran and Ferus Flayon, and the numerous demons that the three of them released from Hell’s Vault, down in the Abandoned Mines of Zailleon. She gets along just fine with Ferus, but is often in shouting matches with Perrin, whom she despises.
History: Liatas is the Mirror-Me of Rua Dragonheart, making her especially dangerous. Liatas grew up in a coastal town in eastern Zailleon, becoming an excellent hunter and tracker for the town as she built up her skills with the bow. She was quickly named the town’s best archer, and often went on elsewhere in archery contests. In one championship she participated in, Liatas came in first and won the grand prize, a rare Starlight Bow from the Isle, unearthed from a nearby ruin.
Unfortunately for Liatas, one day her town was brutally attacked by monsters and marauding players, whom she saw as dangerous Mirror-Mes. Most of the inhabitants had been slaughtered, and the massacre left a mark on her psyche. She became ruthless and harsh, but masked her feelings and nature under a false personality. Liatas grew to hate players of any kind, and hated how many existed in the world. She would often lure the players into traps she set, by joining up with them and drawing them to dangerous ruins and the like. When not hunting down players, she would search out other Mirror-Mes and ally herself with them. During one such meeting, she came across one Perrin Valtheran, a mage that she found she could not stand at all. The two would find themselves hating each other, but were often forced to work with each other, much to their chagrin.
Liatas eventually found herself traveling across the Great Wall when she encountered a warrior who, for some reason, she knew she had to fight and kill. She quickly engaged him in battle, but was shocked to find that the warrior was as skilled as her—or possibly more skilled than her. Halfway through the battle, she demanded that he tell her his name—he replied by stating that his name was Rua Dragonheart. Upon hearing the name, Liatas realized she had come face-to-face with her own Mirror-Me. The two became bitter enemies ever since.
Liatas and Perrin would later find themselves looking for something to use against their Mirror-Mes, and eventually snuck into the Core’s Administrative Tower and hacked into their main computer. The result was their detection by the Staff, and a vicious battle was fought inside the tower against the Master Chief and Sheishirou, resulting in extensive damage to the tower and the main computer. Liatas and Perrin narrowly escaped, and after copying the data they acquired, split up. Injured from the battle, Liatas traveled along the Great Wall until she ran into another dangerous being—this time it was Akumu, one of the Nine Sons of Darkness. What happened after this was unknown; just that Liatas barely escaped with her life.
Using the data they found, Liatas and Perrin acquired the Black Sun 003 Gamma, and found the location of Hell’s Vault. After making a deal with an unknown person, the two of them placed the Black Sun underneath Newdam, unfolding a series of events that resulted in the destruction of the city. They allied themselves with Ferus Flayon and raided Hell’s Vault, taking a number of demons from the vault with them, including two Karogni, and an imprisoned Khaglessi demon. Their location since is unknown, having been last spotted in Castle Mist.
RP Example: Liatas had already turned around and drawn her Starlight Bow after taking the completed disk out of the computer, arming a Dark Arrow and having it pointed right at Sheishirou's face before he even started speaking. The action in itself was enough to stop Master Chief from trying to grapple with her.
"For option A, I say... no," she said quite conversationally, "As for option B, I say... no, no, no, and also, no. See, I just read up on your information, and I daresay I'm faster than you are. So, one move and you get an arrow through your eye. Understood?"
"I wouldn't mess with that broad if I were you," a deep voice said from the doorway. Liatas growled as he continued. "She's got a pretty mean bite."
You god d**n idiot!
"You didn't have to come here, dammit! I have everything under control!" she shouted at the newcomer.
"Oh, so you're saying you're done here?" he said mockingly, "And we can finally leave this joint? If so, you... might want to move."
Liatas' eyes widened as she heard a very dangerous vibration behind Sheishirou. Immediately she had lowered her bow and flung herself out of the way. An azure beam of energy blasted over them, striking the cieling. A shockwave of power erupted, disrupting the equipment in the room. Energy gathered around the blast zone as a micro-tear formed in the fabric of space and time, finally unleashing a gigantic explosion in the room. All of the computers were completely destroyed as Liatas and the newcomer fled before the destruction caught them as well.
"God dammit Perrin! Why the hell did you use the Chronoscepter!?" she yelled at him as she brushed soot and dust from her yellow clothing, glaring at him from underneath her hair. "You could've killed us both with that thing!"
"Oh shut up," he snarled, slinging the Chronoscepter back over his armor and white robes, "They were Administrators, but even they wouldn't be able to hold up long against one of the Seven Perfect Weapons! It distracted them, didn't it? God, you're such an ungrateful bi--OW!"
"Watch your mouth, jerk!" Liatas screamed at him after she punched him, "Let's just get out of here before they catch up with us!"
And with that, they ran harder.
Extra: Liatas absolutely cannot stand Perrin Valtheran, the Mirror-Me of Alasea Dagenais.
