Name of Technique: Shirahadori
Creator of the Technique: Ultima,Kiske
Type of Technique: Blade Catch
Character Rank: Beta,Delta
Rank of Technique: Delta
Element of Technique: None
Effects of Technique: To use this technique the user must have both hands free. Using a great deal of speed and strength the user catches the blade mid swing between both hands stopping it and leaving the opponent open to counter attack. Due to the nature of this technique it becomes almost a reflex with no weapon in hand. This technique works on any blades with two flat sides such as spears and swords. Though if the weapon is too small this technique cannot be used on it. It goes without saying if he misses the blade he'll end up getting hit in the head.
How acquired: Kiske learned this technique by studying several different forms of combat. Ultima learned it by mimicking Kiske's moves.
RP Example: Ultima stumbled backwards slamming into the wall behind him as the swordsman approached. Ultima narrowed his eyes on his enemies weapon as he raised it and before it had even come down half way Ultima had caught it between the palms of his hands. With a grin he forced the blade up and struck the defenseless swordsman with a very hard punch.

Could you tell me in the How Acquired section how all three of them can use this technique? Because I can figure that Ultima and Kiske would know some similar techniques, but not Ryo. So explain plz.

Actually now that I think about it Ryo probably wouldn't be able to use a technique like this due to the tons of armour he carries around. As for the acquired section i'll fix that right away.

This technique is merely catching a descending weapon slash with the hands or two weapons, correct?
If so... then making a technique sheet for it sounds extremely unnecessary.

Hands only and as stated before it becomes some what of a reflex. I don't want to be called unfair when I use it so yeah..

Still just an attack-catch that doesn't require any magic or special powers. A tech sheet isn't needed.

It stops ALL blades. Regardless of power. Unless the enemy uses a special attack or something.

I wonder, have you ever seen that Mythbusters episode where they check ninja-related myths? Amongst them was a myth about sword-catching. They discovered that there exists a certain risk of getting your hands injured when trying to catch a blade (that is, if you catch it, if you don't, your head gets chopped). Could you put in some info on risk factors?
