Necropheles again grinned as the weapon was melted. He had fought a large group of humans back in the jungle, all of whom had tried to attack with with axes and such. It brought back good memories. The demonic grin on his face died down as he saw the large arms grab him, and as the human tried to tear him apart. To Necropheles this seemed almost suicidal for the human to do, and let loose his strength to break free from the grasp. The human didn't budge in the least, surprising Necropheles greatly. Around then he began having doubts and thoughts as to whether or not the human was actually human. Moments later Necropheles was torn in half, and then just as quickly he shot off material to re-connect with the other half. The experience was similar to trying to tear apart a living sheet of jello, except more difficult. Vaguely in the back of his head Necropheles wondered what the fight would look like.

Drengr began to fling the handfulls of the creature down the center of the spiral staircase, attempting to diminish the creatures mass, making it more maleable. He was going to try to get half of the thing down the staircase, or more if he could. So that way he could possibly run again, or at least delay the thing long enough for him to come up with some brilliant way to fight the creature. It was the best thing he could come up with for the moment anyways.

(Ah, cool)
Necropheles growled again as the human began to throw a few handfuls of him down the staircase. The first handful flew down the center, hardened from the disconnection, and broke a few floors down like glass. The next few handfuls were just as readily torn off of him, then also flung down. Quickly Necropheles took in moisture from the air, liquefying into a more unmalable state. Half-oozing from the dudes grasp, Necropheles shot off a couple tentacles, which plunged into the falling blobs. Upon touching the black material it pushed up through the tentacles, reforming in his torso. The human would probably try to continue that technique, so Necropheles slid a couple feet down the stairs. Now he was almost ten feet away. Stretching his jaw open almost 90 degrees, the second volley of shards shot out at the enemy.

Drengr's back turned as the monster drew away from him, and he once again began to sprint, bursting through the nearest doorway. As he continued forward he felt what seemed like a very warm sensation all over his back, very hot, so much that it almost hurt.
He continued forward, and suddenly stopped turning around. There, glaring him in the face, was a fire extinguisher. It seemed buildings with fire escapes have fire extinguishers as well. He quickly opened the case, and wielded the tool. His eyes glared forward towards the entrance to the hall, then fell down to his arm.
He had a bit of blood running from what seemed to be his back. He backed up a few feet, and gazed at his reflection swiftly in a window. There were what seemed to be shards of bone in a shatterplot formation along his back, some extending a full inch, possibly two in. He focused wearily for a second blocking out the pain, monster first, hospitalization later.

Necropheles tensed his clawed fists, and took a few seconds to harden back to normal. After he was whole and normal again, he shot a glance forward. A trail of blood drops started under a nearby doorway. The humanoid had been hit around there then by his volley of bones, and was still trying to get away. A couple of extra bones bled out of Necropheles's body, jutting out, and then dropped to the floor with a clang. It wasn't enough for a third volley, so he would have no further use for them. Dropping forward, he planted his two front hands against the ground. With a grin he sprinted along the trail of blood, searching for the human.

Drengr squated, exposing the least ammount of room possible on his body, and had the fire extinguisher pointed directly ahead of him. He waited for the creature to round the corner, maybe the intence cold from the extinguisher could stop the jello-ness of the thing hunting him.

Necropheles burst on through the doorway, rearing up on two legs. He would have to try to melt the humanoid again with his acid- this time it would probably hit. Taking another abrubt turn Necropheles spoted the human squatting, holding some sort of strange red cylinder. Slowing down, he stopped a short distance away to watch what the humanoid would do.

Noticing the large distance between him, and the black monster, Drengr stopped and thought of a plan of action. Not a second later, Drengr covered his eyes, and chucked the fire extinguisher at the ground directly in front of the creature. A growl escaped his closed mouth as some of the freezing cold foam coated the front of his body from all the way across the hall.

The humanoid chucked the red cylinder at the ground in front of Necropheles, at he reared back away from it. As it hit the ground shards of the metal casing flew around the room, and the blast sent Necropheles back a good ten or so feet. After the loud bang the room was coated with a strange foamy substance, no doubt from the cylinder. The front of himself was also coated with the strange foam, and the front of him was slightly hardened. The effect upon him was more annoying then damaging, as only water and fire had a true damaging effect on him. He had learned to avoid those fairly easily, and the foam didn't appear to contain much water. Growling at the Orc, the hardened portion of Necropheles began stretching and bubbling with a strange green gas. After a second a few large bubbles formed on the front of him, flakes of the hardened material cracking. Some of the strange green gas leaked between the dry cracks, then suddenly all the bubbles burst. The whole event took a little more then a second, and the air within the hallway became tinted green.

Drengr's eyes and lungs felt as though on fire in a matter of moments, and the orc warrior broke into a full out run, boardering on berserking from the intence pain. In under a second Drengr burst through the glass, and fell the two stories to the ground, hitting and rolling. He got to his feet, stumbling around in anguish. He tripped over a trashcan, and collapsed against the side of a dumpster. His red eyes scanned the alley, fear, and hatred filling his mind.

Necropheles grinned as he watched the humanoid leap out of the building, then continue stumbling off. Still, throughout the fight his mass had been readily diminished, nearly down to a mass of 150 lbs. One of the few human behaviors that Necropheles understood, or could emphasize with was that of fear. He had his own different things to be afraid of, and had the effect of fear upon people, making him quite familiar with the effects it had. A few seconds later Necropheles concentrated onto himself, tensing his fists. The air crept around him like a blanket, as he simultaneously turned ghost-like once again. Once he was suitably invisible he leaped out of the window in a similar fashion to the prey. Neatly landing on all fours, Necropheles walked on over into the alleyway. The humanoid lay there against the dumpster, probably fighting the effects of Necropheles' spores. Necropheles stopped around ten feet away and stood up on two legs. The humanoid's field of vision was centered in his direction, so he slowly uncloaked, letting the prey ponder what would be next.

The sight of such a fierce predator uncloaking before him, with the pain of the spores, and the sence of pride he had as a battle hardened Orc warrior almost bested drove Drengr berserk. He bellowed in rage, and gripped the full dumpster behind him. He lifted the thing fully over his head, and flung it with bone crushing force at the creature right before him. As soon as the dumpster became airborne, he raced towards the creature, using his mad strength for a last stand.

Necropheles' eyes widened as the prey quickly flung the dumpster at him. The ally way was barely small enough for the dumpster to fit in horizontally, and the Orc had the element of surprise against him. Hardening as quickly as his nature allowed him to, the dumpster hit Necropheles with full force. Half splatted like a bug on a cars windshield, Necropheles rode the dumpster for a second. As it neared the ground he gave a desperate push off with his lower legs, pushing himself off the dumpster before it hit the ground. The hardening helped hold him together, but he would have to take in more moisture from the air before he could create any more acid. Necropheles was able to take in enough moisture to become human in hardness, before the berserking Orc caught up with him.

As Drengr sprinted like a charging bull towards the alien creature, he scooped up a 2 x 4 board off the ground, not skipping a beat in his charge. He began to swing at the thing, taking many blows at the monster, attempting to beat it mercilessly to death. Everything has its limits after all, and Drengr could only hope the enemy met its first.
