Real- Life Character Name: None
Ymaggion Character Name: Jack Sparrow
Alias: CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow, CAPTAIN Sparrow, CAPTAIN Jack
Age: 40-something...pirates lose count after that.
Gender: Male
Nationality: Light British
Rank: Delta
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Strengths
Cunning
Professional Wordsmith
Very high reputation to the general public
One of the world's fastest ships
He's a pirate
Weaknesses
Permanently slurred
Owes money to...well, everyone.
Runs from any fight he will not win, regardless of the cause
Due to his disposition, he has few real allies
Clothing/Armor:
Physical Appearance:
Being a pirate, Mr. Sparrow has several physical features to help support his position. His skin is usually covered in dirt, and his clothes always have the heavy smell of sand, salt water, and rum. Along with this, his hair is dry and always out of any particular shape, and as such, he prefers to keep it tucked neatly underneath his hat. Braids and beads line his beard and some of his dreadlocks…mostly “souvenirs” he has picked up in his travels. His crew has described his hygene along the lines of “We always thought there was nothing in the world that smelled worse than Jack, until we came in contact with the Kraken…in which we were convinced we were right.”
Personality:
Sporting one of the largest egos in the world, Captain Sparrow is a very out-spoken man, always demanding himself respect, constantly stretching that he is a captain Despite this, however, he almost always chooses to run from fights he know he has no chance of winning, regardless of cause. While Jack may seem permanently drunk (From being stranded on a “god forsaken spit of land” according to the Captain) but in his mind is a complex puzzle. Even if he doesn’t seem like it, he almost always has a situation played out in his mind.
Captain Sparrow looks out only for himself (Except in some very rare cases…he mostly likes to wave at those heroic moments as they pass by) and values freedom more than anything. Jack Sparrow is truly one of the most complex human beings in history.
Equipment:
Cutlass-A simple, balanced cutlass, no real redeeming qualities to it.
Pistol-A custom made pistol from Singapore. Unlike pistols of the time, this gun has no reload time. This particular pistol held a single bullet for many years, and was the same that struck down Jack's rival, Barbossa. Since then, Jack's aim has increased by leaps and bounds, and he can now shoot almost any target without so much as looking at it. It has been custom made so that it has no reload time in between shots.
Miscellaneous Items:
Tri-corner hat- His most precious item. Never seen without this, he will go to great risks to get it back if he were to ever lose it.
Trinkets- His clothing consists of several trinkets he has collected from his travels.
Elemental Affinity:
None?
Special Abilities:
Sparrow is a wordsmith, his true talent is manipluating those around him with his words, which are almost always cleverly twisted into riddles.
Transformations:

Techniques:
Links coming soon.
Super Techniques:
See above.
Battle Style:
Battles with Sparrow come in two phases.
Phase 1: He will almost always try and talk a way out of it, regardless of the situation.
If phase 1 fails to work, then Jack brings out his weaponry. Being in his trademark slur, fighting with him is difficult, as he swirls his cutlass in a circle, making it more difficult to predict his attacks. Also, he almost always has his other hand on his waist, where his pistol lies. With his accuracy, you could never know when you'd be struck with a bullet.
Companions:
Rum. Lot's and lots of rum. All the company he needs. ;-D
History:
A pet project of a member of the Ymaggion programmers, Sparrow had been designed as an "oblivious" NPC. What that means is, he was built with no knowledge of being a program, and treats the world of Ymaggion as reality. To go along with this, the creator of the program also installed a history into the program's memory banks:
Jack Sparrow began his business at sea at a young age. In his teens he was an orphan, and stole a fishing boat named “Barnacle” and gathered up a miniature crew made up of Molly, a teenage waitress at a bar and Henry Fitzwilliam, a studious French snob. After the passing of these shipmates, Jack Sparrow got an actual living working under Beckett in the EITC, shipping cargo to several areas of the world in his ship, the S.S. Wicked Wench. After realizing he was shipping slaves, Sparrow stopped his work and confronted Beckett at sea, who sank the Wicked Wench, leaving Sparrow for dead.
Not long after, our dear captain ran across Davy Jones. Sparrow, now dedicating his life to piracy, asked for his Wicked Wench to be brought up from the ocean for the price of 100 years aboard the Flying Dutchman (A debt he had never intended to pay) Jones agreed and raised the ship from the sea. Sparrow rechristened her as “The Black Pearl” and began his life of piracy.
Not long after assembling a crew, his first mate, Hector Barbossa grew mutinous and stranded Jack on a deserted island with not but a pistol and a single shot. Obsessed with revenge against Hector, as well as wanting his ship back, Jack left the islands, keeping his pistol with him. After meeting William Turner, he confronted Barbossa, whom he shot with the single bullet he had on Rumrunner’s isle.
Not long after, Will and his love life, Elizabeth Swann were arrested for aiding Jack. Beckett arrived at Will’s side, offering freedom in exchange for Jack’s compass, which could point to anything the holder desires. Will agreed and tracked Sparrow down. After leaving Will off at the Flying Dutchman in replace for his soul, Jack returned to Tortuga in search of a crew to sacrifice to Davy Jones to repay his debt, where he crossed paths with Elizabeth, who had escaped and James Norrington, a previous commodore who vowed to track Sparrow down before he was demoted. After sailing to Isla Tormenta, Jack retrieved the heart of Davy Jones from the Dead Man’s Chest, although Norrington ended up stealing it to return to Beckett for a spot in his force…because of this, Jack ended up being sacrificed on his ship as Davy Jones unleashed the Kraken, dragging Jack and the Pearl to Davy Jones’ locker.
(I’ll post the rest after the third DVD comes out, since spoilers would be bad in a character bio. >__>)
He escaped from the locker and is now searching for the fountain of youth.
RP Example:
"Ew...aren't you a sight?" The pirate noted as he glared his cellmate in the face, who was just waking up.
"The name's Captain Sparrow, and I do believe I could help ye escape from this here cell and save you a trip to the locker....for a price." He had failed to mention he already got a good amount of gold out of this man's pocket already.
Regardless, the man agreed. Satisfied with his answer, Jack closed his eyes, concentrating...
....Or not. He brought his booted foot up, kicking the jail cell door open. "Ye see mate, the blacksmith who made these doors are about as skilled as the interior decorator for this cell. I'd grab your personal effects and meet Bobeck out at the docks...ye see, I'd love to help ye myself, but preperations have to be made for the great debt you owe me for saving your life, savvy?" the pirate grinned as he left the jail...once again, his word play oh so skillfully won him a free crew member.
Extra:
He must always be addressed as CAPTAIN if you are to speak to him, and he constantly stretches this point.
