NPC or PC: PC
Real- Life Character Name: Dirk ‘Deye’ Right
Ymaggion Character Name: Morph Glitzar
Alias: Morpheus, Shifter, ‘D’, ‘Deye’, The Flying Dutchman
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Nationality: Dutch
Rank: Beta
Strengths/Weaknesses: Morph mainly tries to keep a balance in his strengths and weaknesses (though preferring to have more of the former and less of the latter), but he mainly excels at speed and agility. His physical strength and defense are less than these other two, thus forming weaknesses, although he can change to a form that allows for more physical strength and a decreased speed, which he doesn’t prefer. He is a moderate user of magic, mainly excelling at elemental magic in that area, as to take advantage of his ability to alter his elemental affinity. He isn’t really a team player, not being able to cooperate all too well with others most of the time, though he can try to work with others, but preferring then to not need to cooperate with more than two others. Morph is a keen strategist and often comes up with ways of defeating a certain opponent others might not have considered. He also is an experienced bowman, though he has a preferance towards melee weapons, as they give him a feeling to be more ‘in control’. Of all kinds of melee weapons, he has a tiny bit of experience with a lot of them, being able to alter part of himself into weapons, but he is most experienced with staves and his trademark weapon: the riters. However, none of his weaknesses is as great as is everlasting laziness, which may seem to disappear at times, particularly in times of danger or in times when he is curious for something, but it always inevitably returns.
In short:
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Clothing/Armor: Morph generally tends to wear a kind of comfortable clothes that people could wear nowadays in daily situations, but they are tougher and sturdier and more flexible and light, allowing his gear to survive in most environments and battles and for fluidity in movements.
He tends to wear somewhat loose jeans on his legs, which go down to his ankles and are of a dark blue colour with several bags, in the usual spots up front, two on the back, and two on the outer sides of his thighs. Depending on the situation, he may or may not wear a belt with (a) sheath(s) and a sword or another weapon of the kind in them.
On his torso he wears a long-sleeved T-shirt (may be short-sleeved when in warmer climates), which is ivory in colour. He bears a symbol of a red colour that look like the infinity symbol, but more twisty in appearance, and with a thin line sprouting upwards and forming a flame-like figure above the infinity symbol, which is placed on the shirt on the front. Over this shirt he oftentimes wears a black vest with short sleeves of which the ends are a bit cut up, or so they appear. It has two pockets on the front on the chest, and two near the bottom, on each side. The vest has a hoodie that is of a light grey coloured kind of fabric on the insides that mostly looks like wolf fur, but Morph claims that ‘no real wolves were harmed in it’s creation’.
On his feet, Morph wears a pair of shoes that seem to resemble some kind of cross between hiking shoes and sneakers, being sturdy and tough, but going no higher than his ankles. They are of a light yellowish colour with some dark yellowish stripes on the outer sides.
For the occasion, Morph sometimes wears a pair of gauntlet-like gloves, which are of a somewhat dark, green colour. The back of these is reinforced with metal, and may sprout a total of three metal claws. Other ‘occasional’ items of clothing include a long brown coat that has been bleached by the sun and ragged by use, as well as a pair of glasses, which he sometimes wears, and they tend to be sunglasses when he needs to adopt a new, temporary identity.
Of course, the most important ‘occasional’ piece of ‘clothing’ Morph owns, is his armour, which is mostly used in times of battle, and sometimes not even then.
Physical Appearance: Morph is a guy of about 6”2’ in length and 150 lbs in weight. He is of a lightly tanned complexion and a medium build, although he is slightly skinny, and his arms are somewhat wiry, yet strong enough for him to be able to lift something or someone of equal weight as himself, whilst he has more firm legs, making his body a tad disproportionate. His hands are of about average size or a tad larger, whilst his feet are somewhat larger than most people’s in accordance with his height. His hair is not all that long, but not very short either, and it nearly covers his eyes normally, having a tendency to fall to the left. It is generally coloured a dark brown, like oak bark, and his eyes are an emerald green with goldish specks. Not the sparkly bright kind you often see in anime characters, but like the real thing, which is like grassy green but darker. His face is rather round, and his nose is an average one, whilst his ears are slightly larger than most people’s. Morph does not have any tattoos or piercings, but has a few distinguishing other marks, a birthmark at the base of his right thumb being one of the easiest recognisable, next to a small almost lightning-bolt-like scar on his forehead that is vertical and positioned right above his nose, a little below his hairline, although covered by hair falling down sometimes, if not most of the time.
Of course, being a shapeshifter, his appearance may differ from time to time, sometimes even include extra bodyparts such as wings, tails, or extra arms, but what is given above is his most usual appearance.
Personality: Morph sometimes may appear to have a goofy personality to others, and not very subtle and simple-minded. However, this appearance is only skin-deep, as he is rather philosophical and thoughtful in nature, trying to look at cases from other peoples’ perspectives, or trying to figure out other uses for a certain item. He also likes to experiment, to try and find out what happens if two substances meet, and other things like that. This thoughtful and experimental nature is mostly a result because of his incredibly curious nature. He is also a rather friendly person, even to those he isn’t familiar with, though he act a bit shy and distant towards strangers. He doesn’t angry very quickly, unless he constantly needs to explain the same thing over and over again, is confronted by an utterly dumb or foolish person, or if he is greatly physically hurt. The latter might result in ear-deafening screams, because, as he himself tried to at one time word it at best he is “allergic to pain”.
Further on, Morph also has one defining trait that some other people may not like, and that is that he is fond of trickery, caused by greed and a strategy-set mind. He may sometimes try to make a situation so that it will provide the best outcome for him, considering both physical state (less wounds = better) and financial state (more cash = better), though he will also try his best to have those close to him have as little harm done as possible (physical harm, that is). This trait, alongside his love for experimentation, has led him to start inventing things in-game, which have resulted in the creation of some interesting items, amongst them the most famous, corny and awesome one of all: the Can of Whoop-Ass. His creativity also often leads him to come up with freaky quotes, sometime blatantly stealing them from shows, movies or games, or otherwise changing them into a creation of his own.
Though back in the Beta test he had made a few good friends, amongst them guys known as MegaMan Juno, Blazen, also known as the God of Fire, Zane Truesdale and Jaden Yuki. However, tensions arose during the Beta as Kuro and those affiliated with him constantly assaulted the group, which eventually led to Zane leaving the battlefield, Jaden disappearing, Blazen being seperated from him, and finally, MegaMan Juno killing him with a blast to the head from his buster cannon.
Luckily, the Beta test had at least one good side-effect on Morph, that being that his self-confidence greatly increased over it’s course, although his readiness to fight has done that a lot less.
Equipment: Morph generally has no actual equipment on him, moreso relying on his shapeshifting skills to provide him with weapons and armour when the time is there. See “Shapeshifting” in the Abilities section for that. More regularly used ‘equipment’ is listed here.
Elemental Armour – Morph often summons up some armour for extra protection in battle. His clothes are replaced with a sturdy bodysuit of an unknown, but flexible substance of a dark greyish navy colour, whilst gauntlets cover his hands and boots his feet. His torso is encased in armour, complete with shoulder pads, and atop his head rests a ZX-style helmet with a crystalline gem up on the front, of an orangish pink colour. The sides and corners of his armour are mostly coloured a metallic bronze and steel-like silver, whilst the rest may change colour to reflect Morph’s elemental affinity of the moment, with red being for fire, violet for lightning, blue for water, cyan for ice, yellow for earth, black for darkness, white for light, green for wind.
Riters – Riters are the axe-spear hybrid weapons without being put on sticks. They can be attached to the gauntlets of Morph’s armour, or otherwise a pole-like object or a chain, allowing for versatility in use as a weapon.
Miscellaneous Items:
Can of Whoop-Ass – Orange Ownage Edition – A metal can of average size that is labeled with orange letters “Whoop-Ass.” Although they may look weird or even comical, they are quite potent as explosives. A second after opening the can, it unleashes a massive torrent of orange energy like a large wave that spreads out in all directions. The energy rushes out, and after covering an rather large area, it ignites in an indefinate amount of sizable explosions.
Can of Whoop-Ass – BFNB Edition – A metal can of average size that is labeled with crooked red letters “Whoop-Ass.” A second after the can is opened, it unleashes a red beam of 11 inches wide that shoots forth at a high speed, until it hits something. The can can still be moved after opening, allowing for sweeping.
Elemental Affinity: Morph does not have an actual elemental affinity, having the ability to change it. See “Special Abilities” for further detail.
Special Abilities:
Shapeshifting – Shapeshifting is Morph’s most well-known and most-used ability, and also the most uncanny. It allows him to alter the shape and form of his body so that he may take on the appearance of someone else, or take on the appearance of a monster or an object of some sorts. His shapeshifting is limited to the volume of his bodyk, however, so he cannot take on the form of an obese or really muscular person, as he himself is fairly slim. Morph can also alter his voice to be just about perfectly the same as someone else’s, although he must have heard that person speak for at least a small amount of time. (One word won’t cut it, two sentences just barely, an entire monologue of a stranger or the voice of a friend is easy to do.) He can also acquire wings, fins, gills and claws through this ability, though needing to sacrifice a bit of other bodyparts. Though shapeshifting itself does not take a toll on his magical energy, Morph has been developing several techniques to augment this ability that do require the use of that energy. (Techniques shall be made so to show what he can specifically do with this ability, as it’d be too much to explain just here. >__>)
Element Shifting – Morph is able to change his elemental affinity, thus giving him an edge in battle against elemental opponents. The downsides are that he himself will also gain elemental weaknesses and that he can only use techniques of that element or non-elemental ones, whilst the upsides are a few gained abilities, depending on element (aside from obvious elemental strengths):
Other ‘elements’ can also be assumed, but generally hold only a change in style and a weakness to one of the above elements. Techniques of the elements listed below can also be performed while using other, ‘true’ elements:
Transformations: Morph currently does not have any real transformations, though he alters the shape and form of his physique at times. See “Special Abilities”.
Techniques:
1. Physique Copy
2. Weapon Formation Technique
3. Voice Imitation
4. Absorb-In
5. Elemental Blast
6. Ancient Super Flatulence Technique
7. Elemental Aura
8. Trail of Flame
9. Ice Blast
10. Wind Slash Delta
11. Typhoon Blast
12. Kaisaru Gaeae
13. Thunderbolt
14. Water Wall
15. Mealstrom Spout
16. Tsunami
17. Dark Beam
18. Light Beam
19. Energy Beam
20. Energy Wave
21. Shadowport
22. Shadowbind
Super Techniques:
1. Super Sirial Starflame Scatterbreath
Battle Style: Morph’s battle plan generally consists as such that the first rule he has for it is ‘stay out of it’. If preventing hasn’t worked, running and hiding become the next options. If those fail, he finally goes into battle, sometimes skipping the previous steps if he is forced into battle by circumstances. At first, he’ll try to stay long-ranged before going closer if that doesn’t work. He tends to rely a lot on his shapeshifting in battle, as that is his most prominent, best, and most unique skill of all. Because he is able to produce almost any kind of weapon with this ability, he has honed his skills with many of them, and although he may not be on a master level with all of them, swords and staves, and bows especially, are weapons he is very experienced with. He primarily aims for parts left unprotected on the body of his opponent, and otherwise aiming to break the opponent’s armour first with forceful blows, usually a warhammer is much help for that. He is also advanced in using elemental magic, and often uses it in sync with his shapeshifting ability. As for how he handles fighting with weapons, he tries to have his blows as strong and quick as possible at the time of battle, but still have it not strong and quick as such that he is unable to block a counter-attack, resulting in an slightly dancy, flexible fighting style centered around agility and quick yet forceful blows. If unarmed, Morph still adopts this kind of battle style, but combines it with judo-ish moves, trying to get his opponent on the ground, utilizing his own and his opponents weight to do so, and tries to disable them from getting up after succeeding in that, or use the gained time to escape.
Companions: His glitch slug pal, Ike, which is Ancient Greek for “He-Who-Pisses-In-Pirate-Necks”.
History:
Morph was one of the people to be chosen to participate in the Beta test of Ymaggion. He was rather lucky to be in it, as he was asked whilst visiting a friend abroad. In the very first stages of his time playing, however, he contacted some kind of anomaly which merged with his core character data, thus granting him the ability of shapeshifting.
He is one of the few to really remember the carefree first couple of days they played. A good friend of his, Blazen, self-proclaimed God of Fire, had somehow taken on the idea that he should just get rid of the others in an act of drunken insanity, and Morph was amongst the victims, ending up in virtual afterlife.
It was not long until he returned to Earth, but during this time, however, he had taken on a different appearance and acted under the identity of one ‘Nya-kun’, a child-like anthropomorphic cat, for reasons unknown. It was during this time, in this form, that he did battle against NightShade with a sword commonly called by him the Angelic Blade.
However, though there were none to see him fall in the battle against NightShade, during the victory party that was held afterwards, he was nowhere to be seen, and was presumed dead. However, he showed up again around the time the others found themselves pit against Reckoning on the S.S. Calmwaters, crashing down onto the deck from the heavens above. After Reckoning had been defeated, just like his companions Houka and Dokuro, a demon army who shared the same mind and went by the name of Legion came by. It was around this time that the shapeshifter let go of the alias of the catboy Nya-kun and took up the mantle of Morph again.
After the defeat of Legion, Morph and Juno were transported to the Core after Juno had a mental breakdown and they were picked up by the unnamed representative of Sony of that time. Juno was taken to the hospital to revalidate, and whilst that was happening he was having dreams about the past, from back when he was introduced to the Beta. During this time, Morph himself wandered around the Core, and got to now the Staff a little better. He was even taught a few techniques by Gahm himself, although he didn’t use them until much later, primarily because he saw no real opportunity to use it, and because he found his shapeshifting skills proficient enough. After Juno had come to his senses again, they left the Core, this time with a companion, a ranger girl named Arya.
After leaving the Core with their newfound sort-of guide, the three found themselves wandering through a desert. When they saw a desert sandstorm coming closer, they sped up, but Morph was grabbed by a creature rising up from below the desert sands, later identified to be a dracopyre-like being, and was bitten in the chest by the large draconic creature, his shoulder pierced almost fully, but they were saved from the creature by a wandering wayward warrior by the name of Luke. Morph was brought to a hospital and treated, but after waking up after a nightmare, he found out he had become blind. After Morph was considered healed enough, and after Juno had saved a young girl named Maya from a monster whilst taking a walk outside, they headed out, and ended up meeting the representative of Konami, who teleported them to the so-called Temple of Force, where they all received some new, better equipment, which meant for Morph his very first pair of would-be signature weapons: the riters.
Meanwhile, evil did not sleep, and eventually it was revealed that Akumu and Kuro had fused into a being calling itself Muteki-Yami, which translates to Invincible Darkness, which it pretty much seemed to be at that point of the Epsilon Beta. The crew -– which was the unofficial name for the team consisting of Morph, Juno, Blazen, Jaden and Zane (although Zane wasn’t present and Jaden had taken up the name of Shadow) –- battled this being, but they were nearly defeated when a mage named Kaitlon, who claimed to be Kuro’s ex-lover and the most powerful black mage, stepped in and undid the fusion, thus resulting in Akumu and Kuro being separated. Whilst Blazen then took on Kuro for the title of Dark Balance in the realm of the Blood Beach, the others assaulted Akumu, and subsequently defeated him after having seen that certain emotions, when expressed, harmed him physically and mentally. So yeah, Akumu was defeated by a "Group Hug Attack".
Afterwards, the world lay in waste. And it was in this humongous pile of destruction, that yet another threat arose: this time in the form of a being called Xastra, who took possession of Maya, the girl whom Juno had saved previously, and whom had shown that Akumu was weak to certain emotions by crying on him. Xastra then proceded to revive seven large creatures on every continent of the Earth, and summoning their monstrous armies into re-existance. In the midst of all this, Morph decided he had enough of it all when he realised how big the nuts was he had come to be in, and for this decision, Juno headshot him, pretty much telling him that if you are not with us, you're against us.
Morph ended up in the Nightmare Realm, as Akumu had altered reality as such so that the dead would end up in his realm instead of Hell. There, he met Ryan Thresh, or Reckoning, and Dokuro, neither of them being eerily familiar to him, and he helped them escape from the Nightmare Realm, forming a pact with the Nightmare God. The Nightmare God secretly entered Morph's body, and thus travelled with him to Xastra's castle in China, where he boosted Morph's abilties tremendously, or so he claimed, but it proved futile, as Xastra took a hold of Morph and tried to corrupt him, resulting in the creation of Meta. As she was a totally different being from Morph, he himself held no recollection of anything that happened during Meta's existence.
RP Example:
Morph cocked his head upwards into the direction of the blast of energy his opponent had fired. He opened his mouth, and, stretching his face a bit, he opened it inhumanely wide, and swallowed the blast with his mouth, with a hole in the back allowing it to pass through, and shoot against the pillar behind him, denting it, part of it crumbling. After that, he had little time to react to the lightning-charged kick aimed at him, but just enough to let even a normal human come up with a reaction to the other person's actions, although such an action would likely not be thought-through and moreso instinctively because of that. He twisted his body somewhat, and the leg came soaring for his gut. He bent his body fluidly, and fluidly indeed his actions were, for Morph had become fluid to a certain degree, and the leg passed right through him. Pieces of Morph splattered on the ground as this happened, and the energy soared through his body. Air was knocked out of his lungs in a powerful gust. Morph's hand left hand shot out at Shourisha's throat with the intention of grabbing it in an iron grip, quite literally, before he twisted his body and threw his opponent face-first into a wall.
"Toldya I was good!" Morph shouted cockily and rather out-of-character.

In short:
Strengths:
- Good strategical thinker
- Can shape-shift.
- Can change elemental affinity.
- Has above-average, but not really superhuman speed and agility (this may change depending on form assumed through shape-shifting, larger/stronger forms allow for decreased speed)
Weaknesses:
- Somewhat physically weaker than others in terms of strength and physical resistance (this may change depending on form assumed through shape-shifting, larger forms may allow for increased strength, tougher-skinned forms may allow for increased natural resistance)
- Often low willingness to fight because of multiple factors

- Light: immune to being cursed or getting de-buffed (although Beta/Alpha ranks can do that and artefacts with that effect will also have a bit of effect, although to a slightly lessened degree), unable to be fooled by illusions (ditto the other thing with Beta and Alpha’s being able to do so).
- Darkness: ability to turn nigh invisible to the naked eye when standing within shadows.
Other ‘elements’ can also be assumed, but generally hold only a change in style and a weakness to one of the above elements. Techniques of the elements listed below can also be performed while using other, ‘true’ elements:
- Nature: Morph becomes more greenish and plant-like, like with vines curling around his limbs. This ‘element’ holds the advantage of being poisonous, but has a weakness to fire.
- Metal: Morph’s skin becomes tougher, and his attacks sharper, quite literally becoming metal. However, he is more easily stunned by lightning-based techniques. Different metals can be used, resulting in different colouring, but steel (carbon-iron) is the primary metal used. If silver is used, an advantage towards some undead is gained.
Transformations: Morph currently does not have any real transformations, though he alters the shape and form of his physique at times. See “Special Abilities”.
