Real- Life Character Name: N/A
Ymaggion Character Name: Tamaran
Alias: The Secret of the Dragon Tribe
Age: Unknown
Gender: Programmed to be male
Nationality: Unknown
Rank: Beta
Strengths/Weaknesses: Being a sentient Super-A.I. Mechanoid, Tamaran has immense strength and speed, along with a massive, tough frame. Tamaran has a running speed of up to 456 kilometers an hour, and has the potential to reach speeds of Mach 2.5 while in flight. He is also capable of producing and channeling the Crystalis Aura, making him a dangerous opponent to any divine being. However, due to his size, Tamaran naturally cannot enter buildings and the like as a humanoid can, and also cannot communicate with a humanoid. Other than the Crystalis Aura, Tamaran cannot produce any magical effects.
Clothing/Armor: As a giant Mechanoid, Tamaran has no need for clothing, and its frame acts as armor.
Physical Appearance: Tamaran is a Space Dragon Mechanoid, a gigantic robot in the form of a Chinese dragon. Weighing in at 143.2 tons, Tamaran’s frame has a length of 12.3 meters, and is made of a Seamless Monocoque construction. The body consists of a long neck and tail attached to a central main body, as well as four claws attached beneath it on both sides, all in a cobalt and dark gray color scheme. Tamaran’s head is typical of a dragon, made sleek and smooth with a cobalt-colored upper portion and a dark gray lower portion for the jaw, his mouth ending in a vicious-looking maw. Two large fangs are affixed to the upper jaw, and two smaller ones are affixed to the lower jaw. Two yellow-lensed optical units serve as Tamaran’s eyes, and a crest is sported on either side. Two long, dark gray horns angle backwards above the crests. The head is attached to a long neck that is roughly the shape of a mechanical humanoid leg, as is the tail. The neck and tail have a long cobalt stripe running down their lengths of the middle sections, with a large, almost black-colored wedge at the ends. The tail has a large, flattened spade-shaped point at the end, colored in dark gray.
The legs are narrow and made of two portions, cobalt in color except at the motivator and servo joints, which are dark gray. The legs end in curved, gold-colored claws, attached by hinges on either side of the ankle section. The main body is mostly dark gray, and segmented into several portions, with two, slightly oval-shaped sections at the front and back of the stomach between the two legs on either side. On each side of the main body are a pair of flattened jet O-Impulse Drive thrusters, aimed behind Tamaran.
Personality: Tamaran has the personality of a dragon, known within its internal computer as Type TAMARAN, and as a result has boundless courage and literally knows no fear. Tamaran is capable of understanding and reacting to humanoids, despite being unable to communicate properly with them, as he can only speak in growls, snarls, and roars. Tamaran is protective of those he allies himself to, and will often appear out of the blue to defend them against enemies if the need arises.
Equipment:
Ao-Gem The Ao-Gem serves as Tamaran’s power source, and produces the Crystalis Aura. It powers its O-Drive engine.
D-Armament – Tamaran’s armor frame is the D-Armament, a special armor system made of a Seamless Monocoque construction, which serves as Tamaran’s primary defense.
Pure C-Power Barrier System – Tamaran’s barrier system is within the entire frame of his D-Armament, and is used as a dampening device to protect against impacts from attacks and reinforce its structural integrity.
Miscellaneous Items: N/A
Elemental Affinity: None
Special Abilities: Tamaran has two major and important functions. The first is the production of the Crystalis Aura, used to weaken and negate divine energy and the beings who wield it. This aura is issued usually through the mouth. Its second function is Fusion, in which it can take in and combine with a humanoid capable of generating Ao-Gem energy. The result of Fusion forms a Mechanoid, Doragon. Tamaran’s mouth is often used as a storage chamber, usually used to transport people. It is within this mouth that forms the piloting chamber for Doragon and KishouDoragon during Fusion. Tamaran can also produce a subsonic roar that temporarily disables barrier fields for up to fifteen seconds at most. Using torso-mounted O-Impulse Drive thrusters, Tamaran is capable of achieving flight, and can achieve escape velocity if needed.
Transformations:
Fusion – Through the process of Fusion, a humanoid with an Ao-Gem, or a humanoid capable of naturally generating Ao-Gem energy, can synch the power of the Ao-Gem with that of Tamaran, and unite into a humanoid robot, the Mechanoid Doragon. Tamaran closes his jaws over the subject when the process of Fusion begins and takes to the air. The head and tail tips detach from the neck and tail lengths, which swivel 90 degrees so they cobalt stripes face the same direction, while angling to become perpendicular. The wedges at the ends shift down to form feet while the portions of the main body that attach extend and combine, forming legs covered by skirt armor around a waist. The forelegs join together to form a long arm, as do the hindlegs. The claws on each arm fold back to reveal a humanoid hand of black metal. The arm attachments shift into position, with the oval-shaped sections between the former legs shift over the tops of the arms to become shoulder armor. This transformation leaves a gap in the chest area, which Tamaran’s tail piece and head fit into, as the tail piece splits and fits onto the sides, while Tamaran’s head fits in between the two to form the chest, while a humanoid-styled head emerges at the top. The head has a smooth, human face with yellow-lensed eyes, and a smooth, rounded helmet fitting over the head, with two cooling vents set on either side of the head, near the cheeks. The head is crowned with a pentagon-shaped Ao-Gem in the forehead. When complete, the Mechanoid declares its name, Doragon, loudly to those within the vicinity.
Techniques:
1. Crystalis Aura
Super Techniques: N/A
Battle Style: Tamaran is a vicious melee fighter, using his claws, fangs, and tails to attack his enemies. Tamaran’s preferred method of attacking an opponent is a head-on rush, followed by biting and slashing. Tamaran is also known for attacking from behind, latching on with powerful bites from its jaws. When engaged in combat with a divine enemy, Tamaran’s allies can call upon him to issue the Crystalis Aura from its mouth in a powerful burst that sends divine enemies reeling, allowing a chance for Fusion to be initiated.
Companions: Tamaran has an affinity primarily for R.D., which was naturally passed on to Rua in the finalized game, as well as an affinity to Matt Willard, as both of them were able to produce Ao-Gem energy without the usage of an Ao-Gem.. He is also protective of R.D.’s friends and allies, particularly the young girl Ileyna Telamon.
History: During the past, unrecorded ages of Genesis’s time, the Dragon Tribes spanned the earth. During one day, a rift opened and jettisoned a strange, glowing piece of glass. The Dragons found this and extracted great amounts of knowledge from its shimmering depths. It taught them how to initiate the Binding, and the creation of Ao-Gems, the mysterious gemstones capable of powering machinery and giving a brutal edge over the gods. However, they also found blueprints to a strange, transformational and animalistic machine that is capable of sentience, and powered by an energy-channeling crystal. They went about creating such a robot of their own, made in their own image, powered by the Ao-Gem. The result was the birth of the Space Mechanical Dragon, Tamaran. With the ability to join with a humanoid to become a powerful Mechanoid, and the ability to wield the power of the unreal against the gods, Tamaran was a valuable asset to the Dragon Tribes. Hidden from the eyes of the powers that be, Tamaran was known as the Secret of the Dragon Tribe.
Shortly after the creation of Tamaran, a prophecy was spoken, a prophecy of the Final Rise, where three Dragon Spirits would join with the Mecha Dragon and form the Drake of Braves, who would slay the Dark Goddess of the Ice Dragons and free the Dragon Tribes of their curse. Eventually, Tamaran was put in stasis in the icy depths beneath Antarctica, where it slept. Eventually, Sheena, the Dark Goddess of the Ice Dragons, was freed by NightShade, and she settled on the frozen continent, urging the Dragon Tribes, led by the Dragon King, to assault her forces in endless combat. After Electra’s defeat, the surviving heroes of Genesis made their way to the continent to defeat Sheena in combat. This event began the Final Rise, and the beginning of prophecy. The heroes had a collective dream where the voice of the slain Dragon King, Bahamut, spoke to them of the power of the unreal. Upon waking up, the heroes went to battle. R.D., harboring the soul of Sheena, engaged in a ferocious battle against the Dark Goddess, only to be defeated and blasted into the cold oceans. A massive amount of Dragons were killed, sealed beneath ice with mortal wounds.
Beneath the sea, R.D.’s consciousness came in contact with Tamaran’s, who sensed Bahamut’s presence within him. Tamaran decided to aid R.D. in his battle, and gathered him in his jaws before emerging from the seas and assaulting Sheena directly. A vicious battle ensued, which quickly revealed the return of R.D., now instilled with the knowledge of Fusion after coming in contact with Tamaran’s Ao-Gem. R.D. called upon the Ao-Gem’s power and had Tamaran unleash the Crystalis Aura against Sheena, and then initiated Fusion, forming Doragon. As Doragon, R.D. and Tamaran began decimating Sheena’s forces, only to be quickly trapped and pinned, allowing Sheena to move in for a kill. Prophecy became reality as within the heads of everyone, Bahamut’s voice spoke to them once again, declaring that the power of the unreal would be the downfall of the power of the divine. The dying Dragons performed the Binding with each other, forming three dragon-shaped vehicles: the Dragon Spirits of GaiaDraken, AquaDraken, and SkyDraken. The Dragon Spirits broke the bindings on Doragon and formed a protective shield, allowing Doragon to avoid destruction.
With the Dragon Spirits created and flying around Doragon, the prophecy of the Final Rise was fulfilled as R.D. initiated Hyper Fusion, joining Tamaran with the Dragon Spirits to form the Super Mechanoid, the Drake of Braves, KishouDoragon. Wielding the full power of the Crystalis, KishouDoragon utterly decimated Sheena, resulting in the defeat of another of the Beasts of the Dark Apocalypse. Tamaran allied himself with R.D., and with the Hartnetts in tow, R.D. and Tamaran went on their separate ways while the heroes of light and the Dragon Tribes traveled to Japan to bring forth the Black Mountain’s forces. Tamaran grew an affinity for the three people able to channel the Ao-Gem’s power naturally: R.D., Matt Willard, and Ileyna Telamon. Numerous times Tamaran would aid R.D. and company against the evils in Genesis and beyond. One notable time was when R.D. had been defeated by Re-Tuul, and Omega was extracted from Lumiya. Under the control of Daemonus, R.D. was made into a weapon with Omega, and pitted against both hero and enemy. Matt initated Fusion and Hyper Fusion to become KishouDoragon, and was pitted in a battle against R.D.. Remembering earlier words of how he would rather die than become an instrument to evil, Matt battled against Omega, ultimately destroying the Super Mechanoid and removing a barely-living R.D. from its depths, freeing him from Daemonus’ grasp.
The next most notable event is during R.D.’s final battle against Re-Tuul, in the floating City of White Metal. R.D. eventually called upon Tamaran to battle against the Khaglessi Patriarch, initiating Fusion and Hyper Fusion to become KishouDoragon as Re-Tuul initiated Destroyer Fusion using an Orb of Infinity. In a titanic showdown, Re-Tuul dominated KishouDoragon, smashing the Drake of Braves through the City before R.D., overcome with rage and at the insistence of his slain sister, unleashed the full power of the Ao-Gem and viciously tore Re-Tuul apart while declaring R.D.’s vengeance, allowing R.D. to finally and permanently vanquish Re-Tuul by destroying the Orb of Infinity and his body within a death netherworld.
As the battles waged on, the Secret of the Dragon Tribe proved to be a valuable asset to the heroes with its ability to negate divine power, making it the most dangerous weapon against the likes of NightShade, Kuro, and Ziatoch. When the Beta Test concluded, the Staff were baffled at Tamaran’s existence, having never programmed such a beast within the game. They studied the anomaly while hiding the Dragon Spirits: GaiaDraken buried beneath the foliage of the Rakutan Forest, AquaDraken entombed within the Sea Temple, and SkyDraken hidden amongst the crags of the Heights. Eventually, Tamaran was hidden within an old, reclaimed citadel in the lands beyond the Great Wall.
RP Example: He was drifting in darkness, the light fading all around him. There was only a chilling blackness that flowed all around him as he sank towards oblivion.
Something touched his mind, probing cautiously, as if anxious.
Who are you?
…
Secret? What secret?
…
I don’t understand.
…
You can offer me power?
…
… yes. I need that power.

Yellow eyes ignited within the depths of the icy ocean.
===
The battle raging on the surface began to still as a wave of unusual power washed over them, and many a pair of draconic eyes turned their attention towards the cold ocean. There was another pulse, coming deep from the waters, washing over each and every creature present, and the members of the Dragon Tribe roared, their bellows deafening. Something black was surging up from the cold depths.
Water exploded upwards as something rose up from the water, something dark blue and gray and made of metal. Unleashing a terrible roar, a mechanical dragon burst free from the water and rocketed up into the air. Designed much like a Chinese dragon, the metallic beast was plated in dark, gunmetal gray and cobalt blue armor. Yellow optic sensors glared out from a smooth, sleek dragon’s head crowned with long, sharp horns fanning back from its cranium and large, twin fangs mounted in the front of the upper jaw and smaller twin fangs on the lower, mounted on a long neck made up of various dark gray plates and a dark blue stripe running down the top of the neck. Dark plates of armor fanned around the sides and underside of the neck, attached to an angular central body, with an identical tail opposite of it, ending a gunmetal-colored, spade-shaped blade. Four pairs of dark blue legs, identical in length, were attached to the base of the central body, each ending in large, gold-tipped talons. The metallic dragon soared upwards, propelled by twin jets of azure fire issuing out from the small thrusters mounted on the sides of the dragon’s back.
Relayia’s eyes widened and flared with light, shocked at the sight of the Space Mechanoid Dragon emerging from the oceans surrounding Antarctica, loosing its vengeful roar. She had almost thought the beast to be only a legend, known only as the Secret of the Dragon Tribe.
“Tamaran!”
The metallic dragon stabilized its flight and turned its frame towards the firefight that had been raging in the airspace above the frozen continent. Loosing another roar, Tamaran rocketed forward, causing dragons to scatter as the battle raged anew. Ice Dragons were coming in to strike at the new opponent, and as the first one came, Tamaran’s neck snapped forward, its jaws closing in on the smaller body of the first Ice Dragon, trapping it within its jaws as a sudden blue light erupted from within his mouth, and the Ice Dragon screamed as its divine powers granted by Sheena were stripped away layer by layer by the power of the unreal, the Crystalis. Jaws closed down suddenly, crushing the beast, and the mechanical dragon flung the corpse away and roared in fury.
Extra: Only a being capable of generating Ao-Gem energy naturally, or a being linked to an Ao-Gem, can initiate Fusion with Tamaran.
