Clothing/Armor: www.waiting4oblivion.com/images/bestiary/dremora.jpg
Mephisto wears a set of armor that bears striking resemblance to Bethesda’s “Oblivion” and their Daedric Armor. A full helm takes a magnificent place at the top of the armor with glowing red sockets that the eyes can see through from the inside. Sharp spikes litter the helmet in symmetry, some jutting in to the face portion and others jutting out to create a sort of crown-like appearance. The helmet is painted blood red over a dark black coating, and it overall resembles darkened and heated metal.
More spikes protrude from the shoulders and collarbone area, curving away from the helmet and up above the shoulders. Layered plates colored black with a blood-red trim line themselves over the shoulders to create good mobility and fearsome protection. The rest of the cuirass is richly ornamented with intricate design and blood red gems set into key placements to portray a devilish image.
Multi-layering plates of armor to stop almost any penetration and still allow mobility form the leg portion of the armor like the shoulders. Finally, Mephisto will almost always wear boots in the same fashion as the rest of the armor. These boots can withstand some of the hottest temperatures of hell and still provide comfortable footwear.
Physical Appearance: Mephisto’s appearance is not often seen as he is normally shelled up in his armor. He stands at six feet and one inch, and every bit is covered by deathly pale skin that seems slightly burnt from heat. Hair black as the unlit night is kept un-kept but still stays at a short length beneath the armor. Eyes that are almost violet from the hints of red in blue consistently stare through the red slots in the mask of his armor. Simply wearing the armor allows him to constantly have a strong build giving him a quite bulky body.
Personality: Mephistopheles is a cold hearted and compassionless being. Ruthless and hardheaded, Mephisto is not one to often ally with another. He is a firm believer that what needs to be done can be done by himself. If he lacks the ability to complete a task or battle by himself, his summons not included, he will simply view the battle as worthless and find a way to end it in a draw. His nature in general is hostile, especially to people he is not acquainted with, but he has no problem in being manipulative to other people to achieve what he desires.
Equipment: The Sickle of Death:
Through a long sequence of extended travels, the Sickle of Death came into the possession of Mephistopheles. He carries the weapon on his back slung at an angle so it does not touch the ground. The blade of scythe is turned away from Mephisto’s head and is held to the armor by a black leather cord.
Miscellaneous Items: None
Elemental Affinity: Darkness
Special Abilities: Mephisto has the uncanny ability to tell if another person is actually living or risen from the dead, this is useful for fighting others with the same types of skills as his own to pick techniques for battle. Mephisto also has unnaturally high core strength, allowing him to move in his over weighted armor.
Transformations: N/A
Techniques:
1. Wood Rot
2. Death Ward
3. Ghoul Light
4. Necrotic Cyst
5. Necrotic Bloat
6. Pain Wrack
7. Infestation of Maggots
8. Last Breath
Super Techniques:
1. Avasculate
2. Burning Blood
Battle Style: Mephisto is more of a juggernaut character, not moving much and using his animations as meat shields. While he will move during battle, the armor keeps him from moving quickly or lightly, and the armor also makes him a larger target, even if it’s a durable one. Mephisto has a good knowledge of battle tactics, playing the leader on the field and commanding his hordes of the dead.
Companions: None
History: As a mirror-me, Mephisto was merely created upon the entrance into Ymaggion of Skygirl318. However, he firmly believes that he was born into a family in Valtheran and brought up with a disturbed childhood. Not in the clichéd anime form of the lone wolf kid who everyone likes, but the type of the child who does not socialize with anyone and who no one wished to socialize with because of how strange and dark he seemed to be. Always keeping to himself, even people who were older were at least slightly scared or disturbed the consistent violent and hostile nature. Mephistopheles quickly left his home and began to travel the world.
Mephisto quickly developed some dark dealings with those affiliated with the Sons of darkness. While he never made an appearance on the battlefield, he was still consistently observing and admiring the works of them. Some could even take on armies without any living ally, and Mephisto found himself experiencing an odd sense of respect. The item the Sickle of Death caught his eye multiple times, and he felt an odd desire for it. When Laura actually entered the game was when Mephistopheles could actually take action. He tracked down the Sickle of Death, which had been fabled to have been lost after the defeat of Kuro, but the dark teen knew better. Attuning himself with the dark arts of necromancy, Mephisto found himself capable of wielding the scythe, but this was not until just recently. Currently he is keeping a low profile and travelling ever so slowly in his heavy armor, looking for his opposite.
RP Example: Mephisto’s eyes narrowed from beneath the dragon-skin helm as he surveyed the carnage that lay before him. The Sickle had already caused him to raise thousands to bend to his bidding, and the battle was falling to his favor so far. It was the first thing that he would do that would put him on the radar for tracking. No doubt no necromancy of the scale he had just accomplished had been used in Ymaggion since the Sons, and this sudden display of the Sickle’s abilities would soon be heard of.
He slung the scythe across his back once more and turned from the field. Anything that was still alive wouldn’t be threat anymore, and it would be time for him to meld into the shadows of the community again. He had found his revenge, and he felt quite complete.
Extra: Mephistopheles is Laura’s Mirror-me.
