I planned on having a challenger appear, but due to the blocks on the school computers and the strange size my original was... yeah. Well, here it is. I'll make another one later maybe. img509.imageshack.us/my.php?image=throughthecastlerx9.gifThe frames got slowed down from the transfer and I couldn't speed them up, so it looks a bit laggy. 80 or so frames.

Although the animation is smooth, the character seems to go up and down at certain points when he's walking.

Obviously. Watch someone's head next time they walk and tell me there head stays at the exact same height. Just the way the sprites were made really, some frames were just higher than others.

I mean the feet don't stay on the same "line" during the whole thing.
Don't take crit so personnally, sheesh.

=P Critique is supposed to be serious, otherwise it's worthless. No?

Never said it wasn't serious, just said you nearly took it as an insult.
And besides, crit is what motivates people to get better(most of the time, anyhow).

Not really, considering you can't read my mind... last I checked.
Anywho. Correct practice makes perfect. So yeah, working toward that. There is some improvement though between this one and the last I think xD

It was just how the post came out.
And yeah, this is better than the last one.

The movement looks quite smooth there. Do you intend to make another one in which a challenger DOES appear?

Not with this same background and central sprite I think. However, I do intend to make more and I have an idea for my next one, which hopefully shall be even longer than this one!

Wow I havn't commented yet. Oh well. The animation is of course quite smooth. The only flaw I can see would be his second jump where he lingers in the air for a while. Unless that's what you were aiming for.

I'm not sure what happened there, just a glitch in the crappy programming I think... I rechecked the slides like ten times and couldn't find a lingering frame.

I'm beginning to think ImageShack interferes with all animated .gif pictures. Photobucket's never interfered with an animated picture I've uploaded.

Could be, I generally use Photobucket, but when I uploaded this image I was still under the impression it was blocked at my school. At any rate, it still lagged in the program.
