"Dear Pirate/Ninja
You have been formally invited to participate in one tournament within the colliseum as a publicity stunt, and one of the quickest sell-outs attendence wise.
What is this tournament you ask? Simply enough: Pirates versus Ninjas. One 3 on 3 match. Simple tournament, yes?
We have sent this letter to certain players other than your class as well, so don't feel alarmed if you see someone not in the same class as you...
How did I choose the 6 participants, you ask? Simple enough: Notority, reputation, as it were."
Fitz had finished reading his note aloud, before crumpling it by crunching his hand into a fist.
"Ninjas, huh..." The pirate smirked, causing his small moustache to curve.

Batman appeared in the Colleseum.
"Why the hell did I get this...? Just because I know ninjitsu doesn't mean I should have to represent my superior class does it?"

Adam sighed, sitting down in one of the preparation rooms. He was clad in his usual uniform, with his armor and weaponry on a table nearby. He had been invited into the tournament, though he was neither pirate nor ninja. But, it would seem he was being lumped in with "pirate" for being a mercenary, and for having slaughtered a clan of ninja on one of his missions.
Running a hand through black hair, he re-read the note that had been emailed to him through the use of his personal computer device, then got up and began equipping his armor. Most likely the best of the best would be coming, and he should be ready for it. Finally, when he had the sword, cannon, boomerangs, and rifle holstered to his armor and flight pack, he was ready to begin the tournament... as soon as he found the other pirate teammates, that is.

"It's called ninjutsu, not ninjitsu, you dolt." A voice spoke up, coming from a figure that stood in the darkness of the shadows within the grand Colosseum. Leaning against a wall, his arms crossed over one another, the figure appeared to be clad in black, but this was merely due to the low lighting levels in the area he stood in, as it really was merely a very dark navy.
The figure hopped forward, out of his leaning position, and walked closer towards Batman, his arms still crossed. The figure's eyes and what skin that surrounded them was pretty much the only thing visible, and the two grassy coloured eyes were staring at the slightly taller and much more muscular, older man.
"I decided to dress for the occasion." The figure explained before the other could ask, his voice sounding slightly muscled underneath the scarf he wore.
"The name's Morph, nice to meet you, I suppose."

"Kite?" Morph replied. He held his chin in his hand and his eyes turned away as he thought. "Hmmm, the name doesn't really strike me as familiar." He shrugged. "Perhaps I've met him once or twice, doesn't really matter now does it? Oh well." It was the honest, half-full truth. Morph knew Kite, but they were hardly to call even familiar to one another. He could hardly recall the last time they had exchanged words, let alone what had been said back then, if either of them had even spoken at the time.
Morph looked around at the Colosseum, looking for the other participants. According to the information about this little thing that had been set up, there would apparantly going to be three "piratey" people and three "ninja" people. He counted him and Batman for the ninja side, meaning that there were still four more people to come, if all those who had been invited would come, that is.
He could see the somewhat vague figure of another person when he looked into one of the hallways to the side. Judging by the person's dress, he concluded that the person undoubtedly wasn't one of the ninjas. It was strange, he thought he had seen that figure before, and the peculiar shape of that hat he wore struck him as familiar.

Fitz sighed. There were currently two ninja participants in the ring, and he had yet to find any of the two pirates that had been assigned.
"Naruto...you get one cliche anime hero, and everyone flocks to you..............these kids need to watch some One Piece."

He hated trying to find his way around here. The colosseum always was a confusing place to get through, but it didn't really surprise Adam. He was a mercenary, after all. Not a gladiator.
Not a pirate, either, but I'm not sure why I was chosen for the pirate side of things, he wondered idly as he checked the map on his personal computer.
After a while, he found his way to the pirate's side of the ring, and found a man in decidedly seafaring clothing, looking through a door into the ring itself. The pirate must be one of his teammates, Adam decided, so he walked over to meet him. "You part of this match, or just a lost spectator?" he asked while standing a couple feet away from the pirate.

"Hm, y'know, he immediately picked the most wrong thing to see." Morph said, bowing his head a little, his scarf hiding his smirk. He was certain that in his current get-up Fitz wouldn't recognise him. He hadn't recognised him as the hat salesman, anyway. For as far as he knew, he hadn't ever shapeshifted anywhere near Fitz, so that was his trump card for the day.
He turned his head to look at Batman. "I take it you aren't an anime fan, eh, big guy?" He said to the taller, older-looking person. He didn't have his eyes linger on the dark knight for long, however, and soon returned his gaze to the pirate on the other side. "Naruto and Luffy are both the kinds of characters I prefer not to see or even encounter myself, but they are perhaps just part of the whole typical anime hero thing." He shrugged. "Meh, in the end, I kinda liked the ninja thing better."

DragonFire walks into the room, confused and annoyed at the same time. "Alright, why on earth was I called here?" He questioned, expecting someone to answer his question as he looks around the room, seeing many people gathered. "Heh, this is quite a group here..." He said, unimpressed.

"Hm, it appears that our friends are gathering together." Morph noted as DragonFire walked up towards Adam and Fitz. His face concealed, his expression was one that could best be described as either disappointment or annoyance. Grand, it's DF. He thought. Since when did he join the Pirate's Guild?
"So, though I hope our third team member will show up soon, we're going to have to form some kind of battle plan, I suppose." Morph said to Batman. "What's your area of expertise?"
