"It can fly!?" Rua sputtered in disbelief, watching as the monstrosity--Tsindary?--rose up into the air upon glowing feet. He and Alasea shuddered as the beast roared once more, then split off even as the Master Chief shouted. "Move it, McKnights!" Rua yelled over his shoulder at the Administrator. Running up to the wall and dashing up it slightly using his momentum, he pushed off of the wall and shot forward in the air at Tsindary, drawing a Phase Blade in the process and making a quick swipe at the creature's armored legs, even as a ray of fire lanced out from Alasea's sacred weapon, streaking for the golem's high head.

A slit where Tsindary's eyes should have been glowed for a brief moment as the monster stared the Master Chief while the Spartan rushed. A moment later a barrage of beams issued from the eyes, flying at blinding speed toward the administrator. The beam sped so quickly it was the best John could do to move over a half a foot, allowing the beams to clip his shoulder. Were it not for the titanium plating and the energy shields, the shoulder and arm would have been easily ripped off as the beams hit the Spartan with the force of a cannon. The solider fell like a rock, spinning into the ground and bouncing a bit as his energy shields drained.
Meanwhile though, Tsindary had concluded his target would be down for enough time, and he focused on Rua and Alasea's attacks. Alasea's was a simply matter of raising the shield above his head in calm and steady manner, timing it perfectly just as he had with the laser.
If Tsindary were a human, he would have laughed at Rua's actions. An invisible wave issued from Tsindary's body as Rua neared, slowing all objects except for himself down to a crawl with advanced and controlled chronomancy. Rua was near his legs, a perfect striking point for the hammer. Using one arm, Tsindary swing the hammer at a ridiculous speed, aiming it right at the armored stomach with enough force to throw someone across the room and into the wall. The timing was impeccable as Tsindary's hammer would make contact as his opponent began swing the sword.

The air seemed heavy. Thick. It was as if as he flew, Rua was slowing. Slowing down. Eyes widened in shock as he neared--he was slowing down! Time magic!? he thought wildly. He didn't have the time to even brace as the hammer came swung into view. Hell, it had been stolen from him in the first place. Even as his sword cleaved the air, that hammer struck, and Rua's mind went blank from the pain.
"R.D.!" Alasea screamed as the hammer struck her boyfriend, causing a wave of eldritch blue flame to explode from the weapon as it collided with Rua. He screamed as he was sent sailing through the air like a bullet, striking the metal doorway with a sickening crunch. The force of the impact made a massive dent in its frame as Rua hit, and he bounced pitifully off of it, landing on the ground hard. Alasea's legs propelled her to his side in an instant, as she dropped to her knees and pulled him up into a kneeling position. Blood dribbled from the corner of his mouth. His eyes were clenched shut and he was holding his left arm, dislocated from the impact, tightly in his right hand. He trembled with the pain.

"Rua, sit this next one out, Alasea, i'll buy time, heal him up," Kite said after ducking out of the way of Tsindary.
"Alright, you wanna fight like a pansy and use the cheap shot, you're not the only one that can be cheap as hell," Kite said as he looked up and stood in the way of the beast.

This time, had Tsindary been human, Kite would have more than likely received an annoyed rolling of the eyes. Another horrible roar ripped through the air again, making the Master Chief wince in pain as he attempted to get up. Still dizzy from the bouncing though, the sound made him drop again to his elbows.
Without moving a joint, Tsindary brought up the ground below Kite. Four walls quickly stretched from the floor to ceiling, and the moment they connected the ceiling shook. Dust fell from the cracks of the stones, and they quickly came loose and fell, aimed straight for the administrator in a box of no escape.

"Alright, looks like as good a time as any to use a technique used for breaking guards and defenses..." Kite said trailing off to himself as he checked the stone. It was about two inches thick, easily breakable.
"This hand of mine glows with an awesome power, it's burning grip tells me to defeat you, Here I go, SHINING FINGER!" Kite yelled as his hand began to grow a light green hue of energy that eventually engulfed the entire hand.
Kite charged the wall with the hand outstretched and very cleanly made contact and forced a roughly four foot hole in the wall. He ducked down and walked out.
"That mean you're too afraid to fight me?"

Tsindary blasted yet another petrifying roar, one that once again stopped the Master Chief from getting to his feet. The pain wasn't going away, it was increasing. Tsindary pushed himself up higher until his body was a full ten feet above the ground. From his back, two diagonal slides folded back and twin cannons with four barrels slid into place, extended perfectly horizontally above Tsindary's shoulders. The cannons began to spin, slowly at first until all shape or form was lost in the motion. The entire room shuddered as a barrage of fiery projectiles travelling faster than the eye could catch were sent hurtling toward Kite. Simultaneously, an almost hallway like structure made of the floor shot up around Kite.
Kite would be at the back of this tunnel, with four feet walls of sheer rock on either side, and a narrow thirty foot tunnel full of projectiles in front of him.
There was no escape.

"Okay, now you're just a d**n cheater, but that's okay, you still haven't quite got me," Kite said.
He didn't need to escape, rather to avoid. The familiar Shining Finger energy roared to his hand again, but this time, something was different, he outstretched his hand towards the ground two feet in front of him. The energy finished charging, but instead of using direct force, Kite fired the energy at the floor. Much to his Chagrin, the floor simply wouldn't break as the projectiles came in.
"Oh sonuva..."
Kite fell backwards as he took blow after blow from the projectiles.

Tsindary's scream almost seemed like a laugh as it saw Kite fall down under the might of the fire. Dropping the shield, Tsindary held the hammer with two hands. That much force could rip through a truck. It was the laugh though, that infuriated the Master Chief. He wouldn't let a fellow Ymaggion Administrator fall to an animal while he just lay around coping with his own pain.
He now only had the sword on his belt, the laser across the room. However, those would not be needed. As Tsindary moved across the room toward Kite, John felt his arms thrive with a power untold. Kicking off from the ground, the Master Chief moved at a ridiculous speed toward Tsindary, filled adrenaline. The adrenaline pumped his legs to a speed that could not be stopped by even the slowing aura around Tsindary. When he was near, John leaped into the air and grabbed Tsindary's helmet. Flipping, John used his newfound strength and hurtled Tsindary across the entire room, into the wall where the throne was.
To say the least, Tsindary was enraged. It was over in a moment. The Master Chief raised his sword and began to run toward the fallen beast, pumping adrenaline in insane quantities. As he jumped through the air and began soaring toward the target once more though, Tsindary picked up an incredibly long and thick javelin. Seeing this, the Master Chief began to charge the overshield, but he was too late. The javelin passed through the titanium MJOLNIR armor and through the hardened bone of his collar. The barbed steel at the butt of the javelin caught the skin of the warrior and lifted all 1,000 pounds through the air and halfway across the room. There was no life in the body.
"Hang on!" Cortana yelled through the speakers of the armor. A brilliant yellow light shot out of it and enveloped the group. A moment later everyone would be in a heap in the Core.

The castle was silent now, dead silent. A slight smile came across Kasdim-Ur's face as he pondered it over, dead silent was a great term for it, considering how some of his previous companions may well be dead at the moment. He wasn't happy of this, however it was business, his host wouldn't put up with such rude intrusions. And had this been Kasdim-Ur's own home, neither would he.
He leaned forward, and placed his chin in the palm of his right hand, and stared into a small candle lining the north wall of the library. The direction his large and comfortable chair was facing at the time. Soon enough Tsindary should appear, and converse with him, he understood it was about a business transaction, or something close enough to it. Either way it had to benefit him in some manner, or the golum wouldn't of invited him.
The smile faded from his face as he leaned back into the enveloping contours of the chair once more. Then his skin faded, not a millisecond later his muscles did as well, along with everything straight down to the bone. Then some armor began to surround the skeletal figure, an ancient looking armor of bronze.
The odd sensations that once surrounded the human looking figure were gone now, the illusions swept from the room like dust from a countertop, and an eerie sentience seemed to fill Kasdim-Ur's empty eye sockets.

"Oh good," came Eridanus' voice as the holographic image appeared to walk through the doorway. The stone floor opened slightly and a second chair appeared that Eridanus sat on himself. "I am sorry you had to join us at such a busy hour, we were... not expecting guests besides you. No matter though, they have been taken care of for the time being. To business then, Kasdim-Ur?"

Kasdim-Ur nodded his head, "I'm assuming that you have some sort of proposal to make for me, otherwise you wouldn't of invited me here." He leaned forward in his chair a little bit, "You know what I am, and you know what I do." He kept a straight face after saying that, wasn't really difficult without having any facial muscles though. And well, what he did, he did all sorts of stuff.

"Yes, yes," Eridanus said sounding pleased on the way things were turning out, "you see we have a certain... organization running around here. Its founders and sustainers lurk by, and I am their mouth. We are currently trying to do what we feel is right, and right now that is to keep things sacred to us protected. This is where you enter the picture."
At this point in the dialogue Eridanus stood up and began to pace slowly, "you see we have reasons to believe that a holy artifact that has been under our watch for some time located in Cher Plek could be in danger. Should this item be removed, chaos would near definitely be sprung, and the continent would never be the same. We feel it is the right thing to protect this item, but the problem is we need a new man.
"I give you three options, Kasdim-Ur. Firstly, you may choose to join our group and stay with our cause. We are polite to both ally and foe, and we do pay heavily to those in our service whether it be in money, items, or something else of your choice. However, you may not feel what we're doing is right, and this is perfectly understandable, so I give you the second option.
"Guard this temple for us and we will pay you both before and after the assignment. You will be given resources but not as many as you would if you were truly with us. After all, you would be free to go when you were done, and we'd like to hold on to what we can.
"The third option I present I would rather hope you not choose, but it is your choice after all. You do have the choice of leaving this castle right now. We will grant you safe exit and compensate you for the time you were with us."

"As I am sure you are aware, I have my own agenda as well, and its quite extensive." He paused for a moment, then continued, "I would need to more of your organization, to see if this alliance would be mutualistic." He studied the holographic image as he spoke, it was crafted well, however it didn't have the same degree of finess that his own illusions required. "I would also need to know what I'll be protecting in greater detail, and what it needs protection from."

Eridanus flashed a smile, "Oh I don't think you'll need to worry about benefits. From a logical perspective we will more than likely pay you more than seems fitting, but then again, it is getting increasingly more difficult to find a hand that can serve us well. You see, currently the temple in Cher Plek is guarded by a set of monsters under our control, and while we can always put more there, we still need someone intelligent to keep an eye on the place. If you chose to accept my offer and join us and defend the temple, you could have practically anything you can rationally desire. Weapons, artifacts, money, creatures, and servants. Name it and our resources will more than likely extend to it."
