Drengr walked through the alleyway, which even nearing sundown, the city seemed to be lit up. People were bustling around everywhere, all while he sat back, followed back paths and roads avoiding large crouds. He was tough, but nobody could fight a whole city full of armed guards, particularly not if they out leveled him.
He continued to walk abit forward, then began to take some stone steps up the side of what appeared to be an apartment building, or at least the medieval counterpart of one. Odd that a stone building would have a fire escape, but he would overlook that flaw for now. Besides in a relativly short ammount of time, these people might very well have other things to worry about.

There were so many of the human critters in one place. It didn't seem to make any sense, or have any logic behind it at all. Necropheles had only ever seen the jungles, and the occasional village, and wasn't too prepared for the city. The whole place was made out of stone, littered with towers and strange structures. Necropheles would have already been busy picking off people in the alleyways if it weren't for the guards. The occasional human was armed, and by their posture and actions it could be assumed that they were the protectors of this place. It wouldn't be possible for him to get easy feasts then, for the moment.
Necropheles began scratching the side of his head- the skin and flesh covering him felt weird and irritated him. He would have to get another one anyways in half a day or so, so observation would be the best way to locate an easy meal. Looking over the edge of the apartment building a glint of metal caught his eye. The lanterns were reflecting off of an axe, which was being carried on a humans back. This human however stood out from the usual crowd, being much larger and green. Necropheles' curiosity got the best of him and he began observing this strange human.

Drengr walked on over to the edge of the stone stairway he stood on, and glared over the edge. He was about 40 feet above the ground, fourth or fifth floor, he didn't know, never counting them as he continued to climb. He rubbed his beard for a moment, a thoughtful look on his face, then turned back to the building.
He looked through the dirty glass window into what appeared to be a kitchen and living room, nobody home either. Looks like he wouldn't have to kill anybody right now, he could use a little break from his violent ways for a bit anyways. He swiftly reached back, and weilded his axe in both arms. Not a second later he shoved the bladed end through the window, shattering all the glass.
He waved the axe around for a second in the window, clearing the way entirely, and stepped inside the room, his boots crushing some more of the already broken glass.

Necropheles watched as the human ascended up the stairway, and then stopped in front of a window. Moments later he smashed through the window and went on in. Was he looking for a resting place, or food as well? Necropheles couldn't see from on top of the structure. Outside it was slowly getting darker, as the sun was still lowering farther off in the horizon. More people were clearing out as well, heading off to wherever. Hopefully a few people would remain outside, in the alleyways and away from the guards.
His attention going back to the human, Necropheles looked down. The drop to the stairway would be about twenty or so feet. The fall wouldn't be able to hurt him in the least, but it could possibly draw unwanted attention. Bobbing his head back and forth for a moment, he made his mind and dropped over the ledge. Remembering the skin, he landed awkwardly on two feet, making a loud clang as he hit the stairway.

Drengr slid down closer to the ground in a ready stance, both hands gripping his axe tightly, the knuckles turning a lighter green color. He listened very carefully, he could of sworn he heard something come from the apartment, or perhaps the window sill. He continued to pay close attention, then slowly began to relax more as the refridgerator buzzed behind him.
He stood up, still listening, but opened up the fridge. He began to stuff various foods in his mouth, and chugging them down like it was a contest.

Necropheles grinned as he saw the human ravage a storage container for food. He was half suspecting that, although he didn't realize that the human would eat such unfresh food. How long had it been in that container? Frowning with disgust, Necropheles tensed his fists and began concentrating. Soon he turned see-through, with a texture similar to that of glass. Once he was completely invisible he approached the human, standing back a good fifteen feet or so. The critter seemed unsuitable to be worn around, since the green skin would draw attention. The whole point was to blend in, and being green would sort defeat that purpose. It still seemed large and suitable to be eaten, and would provide a good deal of material to sustain himself. Grinding some of the skins bones into shards, a muffled crunching noise could be heard.

Drengr spun around, axe at the ready, in the same low, almost crouching defensive position. He slowly swallowed mouthfull of orange juice that he had just started to drink before he heard another odd noise. He looked around very carefully, taking in every aspect of the environment.
The buzz of the refridgerator beat at his eardrums, and the faint lights that were scattered about the various appliances around the kitchen seemed to burn spots into his eyes that might not ever dissapate. His left hand reached back, and felt the door to the fridge, the textues of the thing tickling his nerves.
His left hand grabbed a bag of fast food that the owners had never got around to eating, and he continued to watch the room, and grip his axe with his right hand. Almost wanting something to happen.

The crunching noises within Necropheles quickly subsided, as he was done creating the shards. The human turned and looked about, possibly hearing the crunches. That would be a first. For a split second Necropheles gave off a sound similar to the dragons spitting in all the movies, as the shards gained momentum up his body. Opening his mouth inhumanly wide, stretching the skin on he head, he spat out the barrage of bones at the human. Each bone was almost a perfect canine-tooth shape, nearly twenty of them, skidding forward like the pellets of a shotgun. The speed behind the bones could pierce through plaster walls or shred apart a normal human.

The noise went off ahead, the pressure in the air shifted, and Drengr lept to the side crashing over the top of the kitchen bar seperating that room, and the living room. He hated projectiles, maybe thats why he learned to dodge them with such proficiency. Drengr sprinted towards the front door, kicking down the heavy wood with a swift kick. Then still gripping the McDonalds as well as his axe, he began to run like hell down the hallway.
He cussed to himself in cadence with the swift pace of his sprint, invisability, those bastards hunting him were getting smarter, had he been paying any less attention he would have been shredded completely. Still running forward, he burst through another pair of doors, this time to an indoor flight of spiral stairs.

The shards of bone left his gaping maw, and the human spun sideways, out of the way. Necropheles growled out loud- that definitely was a first. Someone hearing and then dodging the attack. As soon as the prey got through the doors Necropheles phased back into view. His skin around the jaw area was stretched out from the attack giving him a ghoulish appearance. Perhaps it was almost time to get rid of it. Surprised at the speed of the human, Necropheles sprinted on forward on all fours after him, splitting open the skin in the leg area. Old habits seem to die hard, after all.

Drengr immediatly began to double time down the stairs, putting his right hand against the middle column, and paranoidly glancing behind him, the shadows from the lit torches playing tricks on his still slightly burning eyes. Maybe the thing was a long range attacker, and in this close quarters area, one could only see a few feet ahead or behind thanks to the medieval design.
Then again, last Drengr checked he couldn't see his attacker, so all he could do for now was run like hell, and hope that thing couldn't keep up the energy required for invisability for long. He hated relying on hope like that.

Necropheles charged on through the doors, easily locating the human from the sound of him running. Deciding to abandon the skin, the cover stretched slightly like a balloon, then popped just as similarly. Now free, Necropheles stretched back to his normal appearance. His head elongated and the mouth became lined with more teeth, and his arms and legs became of equal length for running. His front hand quickly formed claws, each stretching around 6 inches off of his hand. Being in the ecstasy and unconfined form of himself, Necropheles ran on over to the top of the stairway. Waiting for the right moment Necropheles dropped on down the middle of the spiral staircase. Letting out a bestial and alien cry, Necropheles turned his head at an angle to watch the human as he fell. A second or two later he hit the ground, landing on all fours like he was made to do. After settling down for a moment he let out another growl, and then began running up the stairs on all fours at the human.

Seeing a black shapeless abomination leap down flights of stairs, to cut off your path, then charge you would give most people heart attacks from simply fear. Drengr felt fear as any mammal would, however unlike most he uses it to his advantage. The orcs fight or flight mechanism kicked in, and Drengr grunted loudly as he swung his axe downward at the alien thing before him. Timing it so it would land somewhere past the things head, towards the larger target. The torso.

Necropheles continued running up the stairs, not taking heed to the fact that the human hadn't run. Upon reaching within striking range of the prey he looked up, only then noticing that a huge axe was being swung at him. Startled, Necropheles shifted to the side slightly. The blow was moving with too much speed to be dodged, so it went in around the shoulder point of Necropheles' torso. The axe blade continued slicing straight through his body, exiting below his waist. Because of the momentum however it struck the stairs, shooting up sparks, knocking a bunch of stones off of their level. Grinning like a demon, tons of small strands of material shot off from the half-Necropheles, re-connecting with the other half of his torso. Something in his head went off, and he began to make another hacking/spitting noise. Thick green fluid began to bubble out of his mouth, and a second later he spat the liquid at the humans chest from the short distance away. Hopefully it would melt his chest open and get his lungs before the acidness died off. Thats the effect it had on normal humans, at least.

Drengr's pupils widened as he saw his axe harmlessly chop through his enemy, then he gained a feeling of dread as he saw that acidic substence begin to bubble. He brought up his axe, and turned it so the bladed part covered the area immediatly in front of the creatures head. He felt a burning sensation as part of the acid passed his axe or splattered off of it.
He dropped the now melted axe, and let out a loud battlecry as he felt a burning sensation on various parts of his body. Particularly his right hands fingers, his shins, and the top of his head. He started to grab at the enemy, begining his attempt to simply rip the opponent apart.
