Real- Life Character Name: Evan Simpson
Ymaggion Character Name: Gordon Freeman
Alias: "yungerkid"
Age: 27 (both)
Gender: Male
Nationality: American
Rank: Gamma
Specialization: Guns, Crowbars, and Computers
Strengths/Weaknesses: Strengths: Extremely logical and smart, high health. Weaknesses: heartless, uncaring.
Clothing/Armor: (Taken from the Half-Life wiki)
Freeman wears the Mark IV suit in Half-Life, then donning the upgraded Mark V suit in Half-Life 2. Cross was said to have tested a Mark V prototype before the events of the resonance cascade, but it is unknown if this is related to the Mark V suit in Half-Life 2. Designed to protect the user from radiation, energy discharges, and blunt trauma during the handling of hazardous materials, the HEV suit is what allows Gordon, an ordinary human being, to survive the dangers and injuries he faces over the course of his struggles.
The HEV Mark IV suit worn by Freeman in Half-Life has a built-in flashlight, Geiger counter, morphine administrator (which allows Gordon to function normally even after serious injury), anti-toxin delivery system, an optional long-jumping module which allows jumps over large distances, a radio, and a heads-up display (HUD) which tracks health status and weapon ammunition usage, as well as including a weapons management system.
The suit contains an on-board computer system that constantly monitors the user's health and vital signs, and reacts to any changes in the user's condition. Additionally, the suit has an electrically hardened armor system that can be charged by power modules throughout Black Mesa. While charged, the suit provides greater protection from injury as the charge absorbs more than two-thirds of any damage or trauma experienced by the wearer. With a fully charged suit, Freeman can survive several dozen bullets of small arms fire or even a direct hit from a rocket propelled grenade (but suffering about sixty percent damage)
New features include a visual zooming capability, limited enhanced running (sprint) capability, an injector to administer antidote for neurotoxins such as Poison Headcrab venom, an optional ammo and health counter on the crosshair (enabled by the player in the game's "Mouse" options), and the capability to use Combine power nodes to charge the suit. This design feature would have an unexpected effect later on in the game, when the suit appears to be infused with "Dark Energy" from a Combine weapon confiscation field, allowing the suit to store twice as much energy as normal and, with full power (200 energy), will heal Gordon's health back to 100.
The suit also charges much faster, capable of going from 0 to 200 energy without even deplete a single charger by half (normally, a charger can only give the suit 75 energy). This powered version of his suit remains intact for the start of Half-Life 2: Episode One but the effect disappates after being hit with a massive energy pulse as the Dark Energy reactor restabilizes, which also reverts the Dark Energy Gravity Gun to normal as well.
Unlike the Mark IV, the Mark V uses only one auxiliary power source for flashlight, sprinting and oxygen supply. (Evan has fashined Gordon's suit to have features that are reminiscent of both)
Physical Appearance: Freeman is bespectacled, of good build, has a goatee, and is quite athletic. There are no visible marks on his body. Hair color is brown, as well as his beard, both of which are kept short. Limbs are in average proportion to the rest of his body, skin is neither rough nor soft. His face is slightly square, and his cheeks are a bit bony. His overall look is appropriate to his age. Nothing generally notable in his face overall.
Personality: Evan is extremely logical and unemotional, and does not hesitate to end any from of life. Whenever encountering any obstacle that is seemingly impossible to overcome, he would analyze all possible, logical, solutions until he finds one. If all else fails, he will mod the game to fit his needs. He finds no point in morality, seeing that helping others only weakens them, seeing that they will get stronger in the long run if they face things alone. However, if he sees someone who isn't capable of effectively defending themselves, he will help them, which he finds very rarely.

History:
Evan is an only child born and raised to his biological parents, the mother of whom has a Ph. D.
Interested in Star Wars at an early age; he immersed himself into its culture, until junior high, in which he, for a time, turned his interests into pirates and half-life.
Being in a private school, he didn't care for anything social and spent most of his life at the computer, modding various games, and occasionally playing platformers and handheld devices, which he later dropped.
His carefree attitude stopped with junior high, and he became focused on philosophy, drawing heavily from Traya's ideas and thinking from Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. His interests at the time were philosophy, gaming, nerf, airsofting, and mathematics, particularly physics and calculus.
After graduating from high school, which was the same as his Junior High school, he applied at MIT, where he was accepted. He graduated with a master’s degree in programming, and later earned a Ph. D.
A few months later, he got a job at the gaming company Valve, and soon became chief programmer on several games.
Years later, he was formally invited to become Valve's administrator for a new, technological breakthrough game called Ymaggion, of which he never heard of as of then.
He based his character off of the old Half-Life series, reflecting off his good old times when he was young. He makes changes to the game constantly, increasing NPC unit caps per area, graphic improvement, and adding new NPCs and features.
Additionally, drawing from his year’s experience of modding, he changed much of his characters data to be easily changeable via .xml format, and programmed his Ymaggion game gear to allow him to awake to the real world, so that he can easily test new features.
RP Example: Metallic clashing was silenced by the water of a large drainage tunnel that Freeman was walking through. A shotgun lay at his side, a rather bloody corpse of a headcrab soon behind him. He accessed his personal programs, and woke up. Keying the deletion pads, he eliminated the codes for the monster, and recorded results on a small note book. His eyes shut, and he was once again in system, and woke up to a gun to his face.
Petty robbers he groaned inwardly.
The wind whistled in slight protest as metal entered flesh, and the the bloody corpse of the mugger laid at his feet. Metallic clashing was again heard in the tunnel, and Freeman strode down as if nothing out of the ordinary had just occured.
