Phillip gave a bit of a yip as he circled the 16th of January. The day has come, the bounds are gone. It was time to come back to a world he loved and missed so. It was time for adventure, danger and shenanigans. Phil started up his computer, clicked on an icon on the computer. A screen came up stating an update was in progress of uploading. Impatient, Phil waited as the bar inched across the screen, his leg jumping up and down. After only about thirty seconds, the patch was in. Username: Blazen Password:******* He was in.... ______________________________________________________ Blazen appeared where he had last logged off and fell. With a shout Blazen fell onto the highway over one of the plains. Groaning he stood, dazed, and confused. Was there a highway before? He couldn't remember. Maybe it was part of the update. It seemed old though, broken and chipped. A robot floated by and down the empty highway past Blazen without a second look. Blazen quirked a brow, he hadn't seen that kind before. Again, probably part of the update. Blazen ran to the edge of the highway and saw that the highway stood over a vast plain, he looked down the highway, it seemed to be never ending. It may take awhile before he gets anywhere with life. Oh how he was wrong. "Hmph?" Blazen turned to the sound of motorcycle engines roaring across the highway. There were five bikes in total, in a crude arrowhead formation. The head biker in the distance seemed to have seen Blazen and pointed to him for the rest to see. They charged toward Blazen and then turned suddenly. Sliding across the ground, the bikers kept the formation while now surrounding Blazen's front, the head biker in the back. He kicked down the stand and let his helmet hang on the handlebar. He had liberty spike hair, painted green no less. He came towards Blazen who pushed his shades down a bit for a better look at the biker. "Gentlemen." Blazen greeted simply. The biker smiled sadistically as he came to Blazen, he came up next to him and put a steel toed boot onto the railing Blazen's back was against. "Fresh meat..." He said hushly, Blazen looked up at him, unafraid, "Nice shades." The biker snatched them off of Blazen's face, showing his tri colored eyes to the world. The biker seemed to not notice. The biker put on the shades and looked down at Blazen with a yellow grin. "You must be new. Allow me to greet you properly. My name's T-Bone, and we're the Mad Bulls." He said, "And you, fresh fish, are in our territory." Blazen, during the man's speech had turned to his bike. "Nice bike." Blazen commented. "You like it?" T-Bone asked, How'd you like it running across your face, fish?"I think it needs something." Blazen commented about the purple and black Harley before him. It was covered in skulls and minotaurs. "Oh yeah? What's that?" T-Bone asked, saving the moment before he finally pounded this kid. "Some flames." Blazen said, with a hint of shadiness. He snapped his fingers. The bike then exploded, parts flying everywhere. T-Bone stared, shocked his bike was gone. No matter how many people who could use fire, he never once thought someone would be smart enough to explode it while he was riding. He wasn't riding, but it was gone all the same. His precious baby. "Why you little-" T-Bone was cut off when Blazen sent him a hard punch to the gut. With the wind knocked out of him, T-Bone doubled over, gasping. Blazen grabbed his shades back, placed them over his eyes then jack kicked T-Bone's jaw sending him over the edge. There was a dull thump below. The other bikers just stared, their motors running. Blazen couldn't see their expressions because of the tinted helmets, but figured it was either surprise or fear. "I like my steak...well done." Blazen one-lined before he raised both his arms, fire streaking around both of them from the shoulders up in a spiral. The fire shot away four times, twice from each arm. They found their ways into the gas tanks and the fireworks began once again. It was good to be back....

The Highways were a place he had not often found himself before. Up until now it had moreso been a region he had merely passed through to get to other regions in search for adventures or to finish quests he had to fulfill. But it had been not too long ago that he felt a strange presence pushing against his spirits, compelling him to come here. He could not figure out why he felt as such, but he knew that if he did not submit to it, he would keep on feeling it until it would be replaced by something akin to guilt for not having followed neither compelling nor curiosity as to the compelling.
Whilst he were going there, he thought, he might as well make the best of it, so he made himself go well-equipped. On his back hung a backpack filled with rope, food and some tools among others. His armour and weapons had remained locked away in his shop in Acera; it would not matter much if they were there, since he could summon them up at any time, only a surprise attack well-placed would be to his danger. Ike as well had remained behind. The glitch slug that had become a faithful and trusty companion to him in times and areas were one was on one's own he had thought to better guard the shop rather than come along, as the presence he had felt might spell disaster and he did not want to endanger the slug.
In Newdam he had managed to get a hold of a fairly flashy bicycle, equipped with a pair of gnome-invented rocket thrusters at the back as well for short bursts of speed. The somewhat hilly region allowed for a nice ride with plenty of places to get a nice and broad view of the area that stretched far and wide. For when he made use of the bursts of speed of the bike he had also bought a pair of goggles akin to those of old fighter plane pilots.
The familiar sound of explosions reached his ear, and when he turned his head he saw flames billowing into the air and clouds of smoke roiling above. "Ehe?" The occurence piqued his curiosity, and so he donned his fighter goggles again and twisted the bike around, blue bursts erupting from the rocket thrusters as he shot forth.
As he got closer, he saw the remains of several motorcycles lying around, the sounds of more explosions ringing within his ears, and he noticed people for the first time he had entered the region -- aside from a few folks shortly after exiting the city of Newdam that is. They were dressed in leather and their figures left no mistake to be made in his mind: they were bikers, the rogues of the road around these parts. Amidst them stood another figure, shorter than the rest, flames dancing around his arms and his eyes hidden by shades. Turning off the rocket thrusters of his bicycle, Morph twisted the thing around and came to a halt. He stared at the figure oddly and with a curious gleam in his eyes as he pushed back the goggles.

The fire continued to spiral as Blazen pulled back his left arm. The fire turned blue, blue fire. It was a very welcoming and almost nostalgic sight. Blazen opened his hand and the fire gathered on the center of his palm, creating a small orb of fire. The orb grew into the size of a basketball and burned brightly as it ate at the air around it. Blazen thrusted his arm forward, his palm facing up and blew on it. The fire broke out in a quick burst of smoke and flames as it shot to the center two bikers. The outside ones charged in as the two inside ones dove to the side and followed. Blazen felt heat rise around him as his flames picked up their spiraling speed. He could see anger and fury in each of the biker's eyes. Then something caught Blazen's eye, distracting him for just a moment. A sixth biker. Though he seemed much less like these four and almost more like a regular Ymmagion patron. He had a nice bike, that was for sure.
The first attack came from Blazen's right as a biker holding a tire iron swung at him with a heavy but fast swing to his arm. Blazen held up that very arm defensively and braced for impact. The hit hurt and made Blazen wince slightly. However he quickly recovered and the fire around that arm spiraled around the tire iron for a moment before then shooting into the weapon. It glowed red hot and the biker, with a yelp, dropped it promptly. Blazen then ducked down, avoiding a pipe to the head and sweep kicked the burnt biker. He felt with a grunt. Blazen then gripped his shoulders and vaulted himself over the man, diving forward, head first. As Blazen fell he bent towards the gang, aimed both of his hands at them and fired a blast of fire into the group. Blazen landed on his shoulders, wincing again. Blazen relaxed himself for a moment, allowing himself to lay down, then quickly rolled up onto his hands and knees. Looking up he saw the gang rolling around trying to put out the fire, one was only hit in the arm.
"Oi, you little prick burnt my favorite jacket!" The biker yelled with a noticeable Scottish accent. Blazen stood up and the biker ran at him, holding onto a motorcycle handle bar. The irony made Blazen laugh inside. The biker swung and Blazen avoided with a simple dodge to the side and gave the biker a cocky grin before smashing his teeth in with a well placed punch. The biker fell with a groan so Blazen could see the other three had gotten to their senses a bit, burnt but still able to fight. Blazen readied himself, but glanced back again at the other guy and jumped back avoiding another pipe to the head. He jumped onto a small lone concrete wall that acted as a barrier between the two main lanes. He jumped down and stood next to the guy with the nice bike.
"Want to help?" Blazen asked, flashing a smirk as the gang, even the fourth guy up, rushed at them. Blazen hadn't noticed how nostalgic the day meant to be, even when staring at the eyes of an old, old friend.

The fight that unfolded before Morph's eyes wasn't much like what he had previously seen from Blazen. It became rather clear that it was his old friend, one whom he hadn't seen in a rather long time. The Fire God as he had designated himself back in the Beta showed how true he held to his name as flames danced around his arms and spheres of fire flew from his hands, burning the bikers here and there and heating up pieces of metal, twisting them and making them glow red-hot.
Morph counted the bikers in the gang as best as he could between the smoke and flame, and counted five of them. Five large biker guys, all of the almost typical kind. As Blazen landed rather near his position and glanced him in the eye, a hint of recognition on his face, Morph could not help but grin when Blazen spoke to him. "Five against one here, now? That hardly seems fair, let alone five against two." He said to the fellow Beta tester, stepping down from his rocket-powered bicycle. "But alright, I'll give. I need the excercise."
Giving the bike a push to roll back and away from the scene of battle and seeing it fall down to the ground after a dozen feet or so, Morph turned and cracked his knuckles. For this, it did not seem like he would need as much as a single piece of his armour, though it would help him with his elemental abilities to a degree. His eyes suddenly shone with a cold blue colour. "I think your friends need to cool down." He uttered, not turning to Blazen, but keeping his eyes on the bikers. As he lifted a hand, small trails of mist gathered and condensed into a ball of ice surrounded by a small cloud of cold energy. The other hand joined it and made the ball bigger, before he thrust both forewards and the sphere shot straight at the head of the biker closest to them.

(OOC- Just to let you know, Morph. There are four bikers right now. The fifth from the arrow head was sent over the edge. Not a big a deal, just wanted to let you know. ANYWAY!)
"Makes it all the more fun." Blazen said with a particularly devious glee. The four bikers, while passionate about cracking Blazen's skull in, would be just a bit of an annoyance in the end if Blazen were alone, but now that Morph was here. Things would begin living up to something really fun. Blazen stood still and relaxed a bit. He straightened himself slightly from his hunched down defensive stance. He folded his arms, and watched with a curious but eager grin as Morph made his concoction. Blazen suddenly then realized who it indeed was. Morphman, one of his fellow Beta testers. He was one of the smartest to no doubt, a lot smarter than Blazen but that intelligence always brought a rather charming whit rather than an annoying know-it-all attitude.
Morphman had made his weapon and launched it at a nearby biker. In just an instant the biker's head was captured by the ice and cold. As that attack went through, Blazen moved his attention to the other three. He picked out two, leaving another for Morph. Blazen flicked a finger on his left hand and a wall of fire burst up in between the gang. Blazen glanced to Morph.
"Have fun." Blazen encouraged and he was off. With sparks firing off his fingers like fireworks for a society of germs, Blazen brought his fight forward.
The two shocked bikers hardly had time to react when Blazen came crashing into one, running his shoulder into the man's chest and swinging his leg around to hit the other on the side of his head. The first wasn't run down, just stunned for a moment. He then, with a grunt took a swung at Blazen's face. Blazen held up his hand and took a firm hold of the fist and twisted the arm until the man cried out in pain. Blazen then jumped up a bit and slammed his knee into the man's elbow, making a loud crack. He had broken the arm for sure. Blazen landed, then hopped up again and used that same knee to knock the wind out of the biker's gut. Blazen then uppercutted the man quickly, making him fall flat on his back.
The second biker had sense recovered a bit from his kick to the noggin. With a roar he went to swing at Blazen just as he landed. Blazen felt the punch hit his kidney and Blazen let out a low growl of pain. He then took hold of the fist, pulled the biker in with his own arm, and with a fist of flaming fury, smashed the biker's jaw. Blazen then proceeded with a raging, flaming, kick to the chest as the man was reeling back. He fell on his back as well, but quickly began to get up. Blazen grabbed him by his red mohawk and Blazen pulled him up into his elbow. There was pain for both of them, more than Blazen expected on his end, but the biker bit his tongue as well and blood was seeping from his mouth. Blazen dropped him, he seemed to have had enough. Blazen, holding his singing elbow turned to Morph's side of the wall as it would lower, to see how he was faring.

(OOC: 'kay.)
Morph caught Blazen looking at the group in his particular way before he made the wall of flame rise to cut the gang that was advancing towards them in two parts, leaving two of the bikers for himself to deal with and one for Morph. Morph did not know whether to grin for Blazen's attitude, or grimace because he got the lesser bit. Then again, Blazen had always been one of the most confident people he had known to walk this earth.
As Blazen darted forth at his chosen targets, Morph was left to deal with the third. He flashed a brief smile at the thought of it having been a rather long time ago since he had been in a real fight, but -- he had to reconsider -- this was hardly a fight. This was more akin to a slaughter, though actual killing need not be involved. This was -- as many might term it -- an 'owning' taking place.
The man was coming closer still, half his face covered in blackness caused by smoke and flame. Morph smirked at the sight of the man's face as his feet started to move and he broke into a run. He ran up a small slope formed by debris that had come from the blown up motorcycles and leapt off of it at the end, vaulting over the man and throwing a blob of indistinguishable stuff at his face to temporarily blind him.
The blob struck true and the man struggled with it for a moment before Morph snuck up from behind and grabbed a hold of the man's arm and pulled it behind his back, forcing it upwards in a painfull manner; then he kicked at the man's backside of his knees to force him down on the ground. The man tried to strike at him with his other hand, but Morph saw the attack coming and turned his other hand into goo and surrounded the lower arm and hand with it before hardening it and pulling it closer. He then tied the two arms together as the man fought to get straight back up. Morph sent a jolt of electricity into the man's body to force him into submission and his face into the ground.
"Eat dust!" He proclaimed at the helpless biker, before taking him up by the collar and by his pants and forced him to partially get up, but with his face still close to the ground. Then he pushed the man and forced him to walk -- to run -- straight towards a cliff Morph had spotted when he had vaulted over him. At the final moment he gave out a cry and a final push, sending the man to the edge. For a moment, he stood wobbly on the edge, but as a goodbye present, he got a fireball from Morph aimed at his backside, making him fall down with a loud cry. "Pts," Morph uttered as he stood there, an easy victor shaking his head, "humans."
Having done what he had had to do in the short and quick moment, Morph turned around and saw the wall of fire dying down and becoming lower, on the other side stood a figure -- and he had no doubts that it was Blazen there who had been victorious.

Blazen stepped over the dying embers, one giving off a disgusting hiss before going completely out. He walked with a rather proud and almost fresh look to him. The cockiness radiated off of him as ever. That 'I'm the best' attitude would not be lost even in the long absence. No matter how much time had passed of him sitting around doing nothing, while someone else trained their tail off, Blazen was always confident that he could beat them brutally. Of course this wasn't always the case. The battle between Blazen and Rua still hung around in his head as a way to take him down a small peg when he got on his high horse. Blazen held out a hand, up high. Down low!...To slow! Blazen grinned a bit wider at the silly tease in his head.
"Morph, my friend," Blazen greeted, beaming, "How's it goin'?" Blazen asked, his body still a bit red from the fire and fight. His blood was pumping still and a spark still kicked off his other hand occasionally. If there were more bikers around, Blazen wouldn't mind going after them, but first, time to catch up. He's been gone for awhile and would love to hear how things have been for his fellow beta testers. That cocky, almost sinister, grin kept strong.

Morph couldn't help but grin back at Blazen's beaming face and radiating confidence and cockiness. He didn't respond to his friend's invitation for a high five, having a feeling he'd pull a childish joke on him, to which he lightly shook his head, still smiling. He put his thumbs in his pockets, letting his hands dangle outside them. Something told him he would not have been surprised if suddenly some kind of rock music had boomed through the air from behind Blazen and someone singing You're the man, you're on fire! or something akin to those lines.
"Man, you're never gonna get rid of that attitude, are you?" He said to Blazen as he held up a hand in greeting, not to meet the high five. "Heh, yo there. I'm doing quite fine. The shop's been doing awesome and trouble seems quite low these days. No sign of the Sons and their minions or other buggers. Must be scared." He chuckled a little, before looking Blazen in the eye again, trying to see the flame in them. "So how have you been doing, eh, old mate?"

(Would it be cool with you guys if this thread was stopped until my "Phyrexian" character was accepted? I think he'd be a great addition to this plotline.)

(Thanks guys.)
"Oomph!" One of the bikers that was recently pushed off the Highway landed on PhyrZan, practically bouncing off his back and landing on the ground. PhyrZan didn't budge, but was rather peeved at that the fact that the biker's blood was splattered all over his back now.
"Grah... I just got waxed too..." PhyrZan grabbed the biker, looked up and used his jet-boosters installed in his legs and back. The demonic Phyrexian Cyborg landed a few feet away from Morphman and Blazen, who also seemed vaguely familiar to him. "You really ought to look where you throw." PhyrZan said this with a growl, using his strong and sinister metallic voice. PhyrZan's red eye flashed brightly after he said this.
PhyrZan's entire body is made of metal, with a few loose wires hanging about and also hanging out of his left eye. He has no jaw along with fangs, and alot of red glowing symbols running up and down his black metal body. One of them is placed on the right side of his chest and represents the Plane of Phyrexia. He has a triple beam arm cannon above his metal claws on each arm as well.

"Well, I've been kicking ass and tak-" Blazen was cut off as someone, neigh, something landed near both Blazen and Morph. ...taking names, Blazen finished mentally as he gazed at the metallic being before them. Blazen figured it was some other new random encounter, but...he knew better. This thing was too well equipped and didn't seem to be robotic like any other npc, well, by the way he talked it didn't seem like that. Instead, he reacted to the disposed biker, so it was a player, or something very advanced. Either way, Blazen treated it as a player. Blazen took a bold step forward and crossed his arms.
"And who might you be then?" Blazen asked with a small smirk. Causing trouble again, per usual. It was almost like meeting a quota.

Morph simply returned the grin his old friend flashed confidently, though he was certain that although the grin might look the same, the confidence behind it surely was not. The new appearance of a stranger marked a rather large shift in the conversation and in the situation they were in, however. Morph looked over the body of the other carefully in an attempt to take in all the details; he looked mostly pretty mechanically, and the loose wires dangled a little about as if tempting Morph to crack a joke at that.
"Loose wires for sure..." He mumbled rather softly, as he put one hand into his pocket, trying to appear calm and succeeding rather well. As long as he hadn't seem more of this figure, he didn't seem such a big threat to him. He had seen bigger-looking fish fall easily.

"I am..." Then that's when things went a little freaky for everyone. When the Cyborg struggled to find his name, his eye flickered on and off as he held his metal claws up to his head. His head jerked a lil bit a couple times while red zaps of electricity traveled around it. Then the human part of him reacted, but only slightly, and his voice sounded like Zane's for a brief moment still with the metallic echo.
"Z-a-ah-ah-ah-ah...." He sounded like a damaged record player. His internal hardrive has no record of who he is...
Then everything went back to normal. "I... don't know... I have no data on who I am..."

Blazen quirked a brow. His hands fell from his chest and one seized onto his left hip and the other hand, his right of course, hung like a dead snake. Blazen took a moment to analyze what this thing said, or tried to say. Za-ah-ah-ah his mind recalled. Didn't ring a bell, at least not yet. Blazen took a couple more steps.
"No data?" Blazen asked, Loose wires... Morph's comment stuck quickly as Blazen glanced back at his friend. Blazen took a moment to think on that and saw that this was very true. Looked almost like this thing went through hell and back, then again maybe.
"What data do you have, Clanker?" Blazen asked, giving the thing a nick-name for now.

"Hmmm..." Morph scratched his chin in thought. Doesn't appear to be a player, otherwise he would not be muttering about lost data or something. Seems more like a machine, especially with that appearance. Then again, I've run into some pretty crazy fellas that were players... Still, if it's only a machine, and it has lost it's data about what it used to be, there are a lot of possibilities... Suddenly, the sound of a cash register rang through Morph's head and his green eyes zapped into small dollar shapes for just a moment before he blinked and it went to normal again.
He saw Blazen walk over to the newcomer and attempted to speak with him. He just shrugged and stood there, folding his arms over his chest.
