I do mostly 16-bit sprites. I don't like 8-bit so much, and 32-bit can be quite hard, though I have made some. First off, I'd like to introduce you to CAPTAIN CANADA!I've based him off a custom made sprite someone made of Captain America. Can't remember the guy's name, though. Next stop Sonic X!*is shot for the pun on the character* The different 'buster shots' are all different attacks X can get from Mavericks in the first 3 games. The sword is 100% custom. I didn't want him to run around all the time with the thing, so I made some sprites with it appearing/disappearing.

I'm smiting you for the pun...
The captain canada one looks really nice, especially the shield through.
The sonic X is alot like Dreamsword's Speed X with the hair and color.
Other than the sonic X stuff they look great.

Just like Speed X? Speed X is a normal 32-bit Mega Man with only Sonic's hair, not the whole head. -.- Anyways, I shall grant you a little updatey goodness. This one shows how I actually did it. Makes it easier to see where something went wrong or right.

Yeah.....disregaurding the fact that Morph implied sarcasim. It's pretty cool, though his legs should be skinnier and longer and wider hair. Still very very well done.

First of all, I love the title of this topic XD Second, I totally envy you now. Your sprites are freakin' awesome Morphy
~Juno~ Thanks. Combined with that B+ for Greek I got today, that has made my day. ;D I think I am going to post some small sheet of my RPG character in the near future.

I'd try to make sprites for my own characters, but I don't have anything I can edit sprites with.

It's quite simple, really. You just do it, in MS Paint.

You mean recolouring? You take the colour you want to change, and select it with the colour select thing - the pippet, it was called I think - with left, and select the colour you wish to have with right click, hold and select. Then you take the eraser and RIGHT HOLD and go over the colour you wish to change, and it is DONE!

Alright, I think I know what I'm doing. Any other neat tricks I should know about for editing sprites?

Well, you could always use parts of other sprites of about the same style. Look at my current avatar. I used a Zero body and Harpuia head and legs and then recoloured the whole.
