"Hey!" a guard said, appearing in the threshold of the door. He aimed an automatic weapon at them--a sign something big was happening. "Hands up!"
Before the guard could do anything more, however, two strong hands appeared next to his head and grabbed each side. The guard cried out, but a quick movement snapped his neck, and the hands dropped the corpse on the ground. Behind him stood a weathered-looking man in what appeared to be his late twenties or early thirties, dressed in the same dull residents' uniform as the others. The man, who had short, cropped brown hair and strange yellow eyes looked at the three kids impassively.
"So, you kids got the same idea I did, huh?" Jack Carver said quietly, bending down to pick up the dead guard's rifle. "Lucky I came by, then, or you'd all be full of holes."
Jack Carver, a Gamma, had always been a bit of a loner, not to mention one of the one ones out due to his age being several years ahead of the other Gamma and Deltas. He didn't really get along with anyone, but he didn't cause trouble with any of the other residents of Sanguix. "I don't know what the trouble is, but everything's practically unguarded now. Except the Alphas. The guards there haven't moved at all since that first explosion."

Jordan took the knife and serum and rather quickly followed suit, "Hang on a second."
Jordan began to access his full beta powers and began by sprinting around the room with cheetah-like speed. He then proceeded to lift a roughly 300 pound turbine with his weak (left) arm. "Yeah, i'm back into tip-top shape."

"Show off.", Zackarias commented at Jordan's' actions. Then looking at the older man, Zack asked, "Well I suppose that makes sense, if they got loose then this place would probably be obliterated by now." Zack crossed his arms, and almost looked as if he was trying to think about something. "Oh and, who are you?"

"It's Carver," he identified himself to the boy, walking past the corpse in the doorway. "One of you guys hide that guy in the room. We don't need other guards becoming suspicious and start shooting us."
Carver moved over to the table where the knife and syringe lay, and lay his rifle down next to it, taking up both instruments. After repeating the actions of the other three, he removed the bindings, though he used the last of the serum in the syringe. His arms and legs shook violently as his evolutionary strength returned, causing his muscles to overdevelop and leave large grooves in his skin. The pupil of his eye retracted for a moment, like an animal's. He rummaged around the room, looking for more of the serum. "I get the feeling that the other kids are gonna be headed here pretty soon. We all want out, after all, and this is the best chance we've had in years. Help me find some of this crap."

"I'd imagine..." said Felix slowly to Carver's comment, "that this is only where they would keep a store large enough for weekly needs. But honestly, you've seen how little this place gets shipments. There's gotta be a massive store of it somewhere." Felix glanced to the body then to Jordan, "Yeah... you might want to go throw him up into that vent," he said while motioning his head upward. Explosions above were being followed by yells and screams, Americans weren't the only ones dieing up there.
"I think the rest who are smart or able enough to come to this place will manage to remove their own bondings. Whatever or whoever is attacking this place... well quite frankly I wouldn't mind helping them."

"Heh...", Zackarias let out, almost as if he was nervous. "If you'd've asked me under normal circumstances, I would've said we should just blow this place." Zack then held a finger up, a small flame ignited on the tip of it. "But now... I wouldn't mind getting back at those assholes for all they've put us through."

"Just don't get shot," Carver said, abandoning his search after hearing Felix's reasoning. He took his gun back up and flicked the safety off. "You're still mortal, after all."
Carver quickly leaned down next to the dead guard and picked up a couple of magazine cartridges off of him, pocketing them in the uniform. "I'll go see what's ahead of us."
The man rushed out of the room at an unnatural speed, quickly pelting down the halls. Soon, the sounds of gunfire erupted, signaling he'd encountered another guard. Looks like there was still guards inside the compound.

The room was barely lit. No, in fact, it was completely dark. It merely seemed to the only person within the room that it was dimly lit, because that was very much like the state of mind he was in.
The room measured about ten by ten feet, and the walls, cieling and floor were made of concrete that was reinforced with metal. Not steel or iron, however. The metal was a strange kind, one that was much stronger than steel, and also much heavier. The same metal made up the many chains within the room, chains to bind the person inside. At least five were bound to both of the man's legs and one to his neck, and there were also three tightly wrapped around his torso, across the straight jacket the man wore. His hands and wrists stuck out of the jacket, near his shoulders, and his wrists were shackled and chained to the walls as well. The man was blindfolded, and dressed in the same bland uniform as all the other residents of Sanguix, and he was bloody, he knew that himself from the pain of the chains digging into his flesh. His fingers hurt greatly, they had cut his tendons in all ten of them. He didn't seem to wonder why they hadn't just gotten rid of his hands, or him entirely. All that the man did was hang there in the chains, his feet on the ground and his knees also close to it, his body lumped over, his head hanging, and from his mouth constantly uttering the same string of words: "It's just a game... it's just a game..."
Outside of the door to the small cell, a door nearly as big and thick as the room itself, a small group of guards stood, armed with guns and knives, two on each side of the door. They, unlike the Alpha they guarded, had heard the explosion, and were quite tense. They had stopped chatting, as they sometimes did when they were certain no-one else was around to hear them and report them to the officers, and looked around nervously, greatly hoping that the explosion was not the sign of an Alpha having broken out.

"On second thought, Jordan," Felix said, "I think you can leave that body. The vents will serve a better purpose, and I doubt Carver will dispose of the rest of the bodies. You're relatively small like me, Zack, let's hit the vents and see if we can't get a better view of the fight." Without another word, Felix hopped onto a desk, wrenched open the grate, and hoisted his body inside.

Zackarias looked at Felix, going up into the vents for a second, then turning his head to Jordan. "Be careful.", he said, then hopping up into the vent. "Ugh... a little cramped in here...", Zack whispered once inside. The vents, while small, weren't so small that it was very uncomfortable to move about in.

Felix moved carefully from one section of vents to the next with considerable speed for how little he moved the metal structure. Finally, he found himself above the central office. Guards will still here, but they looked uneasy and completely devoted to the monitors. "Hold on, Zack, I'm going to slow down time a bit, get in there and knock 'em cold, I'll follow you. Go!" Felix's hand made contact with the metal and the pattern shot from it, quickly forming a circle and expanding beyond the eye's ability to follow. With blinding speed, he uncovered the grate and motioned for Zack to go.

Zackarias quickly flipped down from the vent and cracked his knuckles, an evil smirk on his face. Soon, sounds of hits, slams, strikes, and the like could be heard. And sure enough, the guards were out cold. "MAN that felt good!", Zack practically shouted. "Okay Felix, the cost is clear, get on down here."

The white haired youth lowered himself from vent and immediately locked the door into the room. Turning around, he faced the computers. The one he wanted was not hard to find, the most gunfire flew across the path of the security camera. "What in the wo--- my Lord, it's the Europeans. Zack, take a look at this... they've come... for us. I can already tell they're coming for us. See, look at this screen. Off in the distance, those are not Europeans... Why would they come for us? Do they think we're some sort of weapon against them?" Felix watched in silent horror as the Europeans raided Sanguix, yet treated the others with ability like dirt. Soon many were rounded up and the facility was becoming purged of American guards. Slowly, Felix spoke, "...I know what to do. These people will treat us no better than the Americans. We have to act. They'll be rounding us up, but they need to be quick. They're just retrieving us right now, this is an operation not an overthrow. We need to open up access to the Alphas, when the Europeans get curious and go down there... well I think the Alphas will take care of the rest. Any guards left, we can take care of ourselves."

"We have the order to kill any of you bastards outside of any cell or guarded room!" Threatened a captain who pointed at a lowly Delta. The delta's name was Ethan Cole. A man of 33. At his feet was a knife and an empty syringe. He had gotten his own powers back. His body was of a more built structure. His work in mines and buildings truly have paid off. But this wasn't his power. Ethan merely spat at the captain, knowing his flat out lie. The Leader would know better than to issue any order like that. He was in charge after all.
"Last chance! Give yourself up, or die!" The captain threatened again as the four guards came closer. They knew not of his still developing abilities. Ethan just crossed his arms, breathing sharply in and out, struggling with his breaths. The guards raised their weapons. Then Ethan gave a mighty shout of power. The guards and their captain were tossed against the steel door, bones were broken and muscles torn. Ethan approached the captain, picking him up using his bandaged hands. Ethan's long bangs gave him all the more dirty and mean look as he glared at the guard.
"Where's the nearest exit?" Ethan asked with a sharp hiss. The captain remained silent. Ethan growled, angered even further. He then slammed the captain against the wall.
"Answer me!" Ethan roared.
"Sector C-19!" The captain finally replied. Ethan, content, dropped the guard and took one their shotguns. With the butt of it he swung the weapon into the captain's head and knocked him out. Ethan then turned to the hallway to his left. He then began to walk with an angry and disgruntled look on his dirty yet pale face.

Jordan ransacked through numerous shelves as he searched for the serum, but all he could find where the same old ingredients, Potassium Magneside, Curium Phosphate, and Barylium Nitrate. Jordan had decent knowledge of modern chemistry and decided to think through the chemical effects if the three were mixed.
"They just order the chemicals and make it themselves. These chemicals would make the serum when mixed."
Kite quickly grabbed some spare tubing and begana the processes necessary to distill the delicate solution.
