[Rising Dragon]

"You know, if you attack that thing," Adam warned, "That thing will tear us all apart. Fighting Kuro is one thing..."

With that, he looked at Areni, the continued, "As he's human-sized. Besides, there's others on this boat! If we attack, too many will get hurt! So don't attack it, it's just swimming there!"

The Gan's eye had locked onto Lt. Bridges, who had made the sudden movement, but the giant beast had made no other threatening movements. Adam looked over at Areni again. "There has to be a reason why it's following the ship. I think we better find out what's in the ship's hold."

[Morph]

"Get down!" Areni yelled at the Lieutenant, pulling at his legs to get him down. "Adam is right on that part, it's not attacking right now."

She glanced at Adam for a moment. Though I'd say I'm all for feeding him to it.

[Col. Jessup]

The Lieutenant stood down, his weapons now put away. He hopped down, and turned to Adam. "What would a stupid reptile want other than food?" He asked the young man.

[Rising Dragon]

"Well, let's see," Adam said, pulling out his pocket computer, and started scanning information. "Huh. There is apparently an NPC research team onboard, and they were researching Seasnakes. Areni said this thing eats Seasnakes."

He thought for a moment, going through all the possibilities, and began reading the article on the device once more. He then stopped and frowned. "Please don't tell me they actually captured a seasnake specimen," he moaned, before continuing.

"Dammit. They have three sedated Seasnakes on board. No wonder that thing is following the boat."

[Col. Jessup]

"Well then, solution found." James said with a smile. "All we have to do is get the snakes, and then feed them to the big beasty." He said with a bit of glee. "Shouldn't be too hard." he added.

[Rising Dragon]

"A Seasnake is considerably larger than us," Adam said, checking the file, "We'd have a difficult time trying to move one onto its side, let alone three of them off the ship. We'd have to wake them up, and lure them into the water. And there's our little flaw in such a plan."

[Morph]

"Well..." Areni said, scratching the back of her head, "if we are able to stall it for some time, or get the people on the ship here to help us, then it'd work." She said. "Though I think it'll be hard to convince them all to carry dead seasnakes to a giant reptile's mouth."

[Col. Jessup]

"I'm a lot stronger than I appear, kid." Lt. Bridges said to Adam with a grin. "Besides, if they're too heavy to lift whole" he said as he drew his sword, "we could always bring'em one piece at a time."

[Rising Dragon]

"Strength has nothing to do with it," Adam said, "It's the proportions. Besides, if we tried to make the passengers help us, that research team will get in our way. And remember, these things are still alive, not dead. They're just unconscious for the moment."

[Col. Jessup]

"That can be changed." James said with a grin as he spun his sword around a bit. "And if the research team tries to get in our way, I'll just tell them that it's government business, and if they're smart they'll stay out of our way." He said, his grin just a little smaller than before.

[Morph]

"I'm all for that." Areni said. "Or otherwise we'll just die, go to Hell, get back and go on with life." She said to Adam, making it sound better than she thought it was, actually.

[Rising Dragon]

"No thanks," Adam said, "I've met Shade, he's an asshole. You two go distract the people to keep them from the hold, I'm gonna go wake up the snakes, open the hold, and lure them into the water. It's easier that way."

And with that, he equipped his weapons and armor and ran off towards the hold.

[Morph]

Areni watched Adam go, and, quirking a brow, looked at the Lieutenant. "Care tell me why some guys always want to do it the hard way?" She asked him. "Because I don't think it's easy what's he's gonna go try, he's gonna get eaten by those seasnakes." Not that anyone will miss him.

[Col. Jessup]

"Well, there's the simple answer: they're idiots." Lt. Bridges replied. "Then, there's the possibility that he's a control freak and has to have things his way, even if they aren't the right or easy way." He added plainly. "Anyhow, what exactly are we suppose to be doing?" He asked with a with a bit of perplexity.

[Morph]

"I think our goal is to get that Gan away." Areni said, nudging her head at the massive monstrous being.
