Eyeah... you need to have permission from all Staff before you try to make an Alpha-rank character, Juno.

How is it that I never come across any of the bloody rules you all are talking about? The only reason he's Alpha is because of his Super Tech. If you all think it's Beta, then fine, I'll change the rank. But I figured he'd have to be Alpha to be able to do his Supreme Slash.
I'll bring his dash speed down to 100 MPH, but those jet-boosters are crazy powerful, they could surely amp up his speed well over 60 MPH.

Hmm...because you never seem to bother reading them?
Yeah, every game has it's limits Juno, that's Ymaggion's speed limit. As for the rank issue...A character doesn't have to be Alpha ranked to use an Alpha technique. Technique is the attack itself, personal rank is the player all around.

Technically speaking, an Alpha-ranked character would not have any Super Techniques. It'd be considered a Super Technique if Echo was a Beta-rank. As for the jet boosters, how long does the acceleration last? From what I can remember, the dash function of a reploid only lasts a second or two.

Taken directly from the Character Sheet thread. >.>
As for horse speed, the average galloping speed of a horse is 25-30 mph, although a trained racing horse might be able to go around 40 mph.

Oh, an Alpha Rank character can use Alpha Rank techniques, Juno. They'd just be considered normal Techniques, because a Super Technique is defined as "Any technique a single rank higher than the rank of the character." Since there is no rank higher than Alpha, any Alpha Rank tech would be a normal technique.

BD: I always read the bloody rules! You guys just have them spread out in too many places--it's bloody confusing.
-JunessupWhich is where I call your bluff. We have the board rules, pinned EVERYWHERE. On the character sheet thread the rules for that are there, the rules on techniques and artifacts are on those sheets, really Juno, i'm amazed at how dense you're being. How the hell can you be confused when all the rules are right where they should be?!

BD, all I'm saying is that all the rules need to be in one place, not some in the Char. Sheet thread, some in the rules thread, and then some over the rainbow Okay, I've been gone for a while, and before I started making Echo I had to re-check the rules because they had changed since I was last here, and things like limited abilities were not in "The Epsilon Rules" thread. I kinda just skimmed the stuff on the Character Sheet...at first *Giselle of Pirates slaps me* I might've deserved that. However, after a couple posts had been made in this profile I re-read the sheet.
@r.D.: Oh. Well, that makes perfect sense Anyways! Okay, so if a well-bread racing horse can go around 45-50 MPH, and the max speed is double that, than reducing his dash speed to 100 MPH should make everything fine, yes?
