For those of you who consistently attend Epsilon and roleplay here, you will know that it has not been nearly as active as past days. Maybe you don't want to join a new roleplay because you feel you're having trouble keeping up with the current ones, but I'd urge you to go for it anyways. This will be a non-canon thread, so anything that happens here doesn't need to affect your character's histories, personalities, or actions in further threads (Similar to the bar thread) While I full expect (And hope) that this thread will be chaotic and eventful, try and maintain a decent level roleplaying a description if you will. Also, if villains do appear, don't try and just crash the party just yet, and if you do so, do it in a way that represents the mood... Like R.D., I'd appreciate if you didn't blast everything to Hell with the Chronoscepter (Not saying you would, just an example) Instead, try something like a public trick on everyone that would be... less casualities if any. Y'know? Enjoy. Tora moved uncomfortably through the crowd, his height and size allowing a path to be created with his wife in his wake. Turning back to her slightly, he said over the noise, "I still don't understand why it's here. Of all places. To celebrate a night-time event underground? He moved toward the main street of the city, his size allowing him to get right up onto the edge of it with Kero.
She responded kindly, but still needed to raise her voice to be heard. "Maybe they didn't want as many people to come, so they put it in some place harder to get to. Besides, they can do enough stuff to make it seem above ground enough, just look around!" It was true, the streets were lined with pumpkins of ridiculous proportions, cylindars of lava from the city errupting inside of them to produce a fiendishly powerful flickering light.
For how many people in the area, and all the pyro-technics blasting off, the place was surprisingly cool. On the street, what appeared to be an entire army of storm troopers were marching by. The amount of cosplaying that had been done that night already had been significant and memorable, but by the looks of things the megalomania didn't seem to be getting any smaller. A moment later, the crowd watched in awe as the sky seemed to split and a rebellion ship smashed into the street.
The street itself was a spectacle for that matter. Hundreds of feet wide, it had taken a severe beating over the course of the night, always reverting to its original state. The ship now grounded opened a hatch, and laser burst from the opening, dropping the storm trooper soldiers in great numbers. The crowd cheered as the battle formed; the street seemed to slope before their very eyes, but no one seemed to notice it until the changes were complete.
The party had just begun.

(OOC: Despite the fact that I'm hardly familiar with the customs surrounding Halloween, I'll give it a shot so I can get back into shape.)
Morph's lithe figure seemed to appear as a thine line as he stretched his body. When he had first walked into Acera that morning, coming through the main tunnel from above the ground in a cart piloted by a gnome of whom he doubted that he possessed a normal level of sanity, he had discovered that something different was occuring in the city. He could not find another word to accurately describe his feelings about it. When he had walked into Ye Olde Pawn Shoppe, it took him one look on the calendar to notify him that it was the morning of day on which Hallow's Eve was celebrated.
After his discovery, he had immediately temporarily closed the store and took some time to consider what he would do that evening. Luck had it that the next day he had no classes, and to get the most out of the holiday, it would last for more than just the night for any time zone. He spent the rest of the day quietly wondering what appearance to don during the festival that would envelop the entire city.
In the end, he had gone for a "pumpkin-headed undead" look, putting on a cap and half-mask that together somewhat resembled a pumpkin, and making his skin look as pale as he could still find acceptable. He had finished it up with some dark clothing in blacks and greys and an iron ring with bolts around his neck. Already he had garnered some compliments from other people, although there had been one person to dump a bowl of punch over his head. Needless to say, both of them had left that bar within minutes.
Walking through the streets in the hopes of running into someone he knew, Morph suddenly noticed a whole band of stormtroopers marching by. Uttering something in surprise as he stared after them, he was already on his way towards a large building he saw a little further down the street opposite of the way the stormtroopers were headed when he heard a loud noise coming from the opposite direction. Turning his head around, he saw flashes of light up ahead. Curiosity tightening its grip on him, Morph started to walk towards the flashes of light. More sounds came to his ears as he got closer and he came to behold why the stormtroopers had been there.

Apparently, Xoquoxitill had a bit of a festive attitude too. He never got the chance to experience the joy of... well, he never got to experience joy at all. During his childhood, before he fully became aware of his divinity, he was always being protected by the Tzhaar, and when it came to his protection, they were overprotective. They forbid him to leave the Tzhaar City and even his own chambers, not until he became fully aware. Its not like he couldn't leave, but he always obeyed his Gaurdians. He knew it was for the best.
Now, Xoquoxitill will try to actually learn Joy, something he longed to feel ever since this 'Earth' began. ========================================= The Nightmare God walked down the street, ready to have the time of his life. How was he able to control himself though? Zane Truesdale managed to construct a special collar for Xoquoxitill, one that would keep Xoquoxitill's inner demon at bay for awhile.

"Kite, why the hell are we doing this?" Tsaul asked the eldest McKnights with a whiny attitude, "I realize you enjoy the holidays, but come one, this is redonk."
Kite looked over at Tsaul; they were standing in Kite's apartment. Halloween costumes were always fun when a McKnights was involved, as were any holidays. The main problem that existed was that Kite had a terrible habit of drinking far more than he should on holidays, which usually led to hilarity and the next day, pain and embarrassment. The one bright spot of Halloween was always Kite's choice of costume, there was never a quiet conservative choice. This year was no exception.
"Look, you told me to get you a costume while I was getting mine. I figured these would work well together." Kite said hopelessly trying to defend himself.
Tsaul stepped into the light in their apartment; his unfortunate appearance could make any person laugh. He unfortunately was saddled with a Neon green sequin jacket, Black Dress Pants, a gold chain around his neck, and hair gelled out so far that it looked like it was nearly two feet in front of all his steps. This was accented by star-shaped sunglasses which were also a putrid neon green.
"I look like Vanilla Ice's bitch." Tsaul retorted with a sharp look of criticism.
Kite was chuckling while all this happened and that turned in to full blown laughter when Tsaul actually stepped into sight. Kite's own costume was something he was a little more proud of. He wore a long grey trench coat with a Fedora. He wore a mask that appeared on the outside to be a face with no features, he was also able to tuck his hair into this. He wore dark black slacks as well as a white dress shire under the coat.
"It's simple, i'm the Question, and you're the random thug I brought to justice. I would have been the spirit, but the Octopus costume would have been worse for you." Kite said.
"Bullshit." Tsaul reported.
"Quite bellyaching and let's get a move on..." Kite said as he began to walk out the door.
"Whatever..." Tsaul responded as he quickly followed suit.

The Nightmare God then heard a familiar voice from within the crowd... Tsaul. Hopefully Tsaul would accept his apology due to their little 'confrontation' in the Rainforest.
Xoquoxitill hovered over to him, and attempted to apologize...
"Good evening, Tsaul. I apologize about my last meeting, I was delirious to my surroundings and my vision blurred and warped. Please accept my sincerest apologies."

Tsaul flinched for a minute, then he examined the situation.
Why would he come out here...?Ah hell, he probably celebrates halloween.
"Don't worry about it, it was extenuating circumstances."
Kite was already far ahead of him and at the party, "What happened to Tsaul?"
Tsaul looked at him, "So i'm guessing you're celebrating the holidays."

"What is 'Holidays'?" Xoquoxitill questioned. The 11 ft. tall God of Nightmares had no idea why everyone was so active.
"I came down here to experience what all of you are feeling... I have never felt this feeling before and wish to learn more of it. I believe you all call it, joy and happiness."

Darklighter felt surprisingly festive. He did not care for parties, and wished he were somewhere else. But he felt a driving need to be here. "Ooh, stormtroopers. I've always wanted one of thier helmets... One less wouldn't hurt... OK." He pulled out his .45 and duck into a corner, waiting for a storm trooper. He saw a solitary patrol walk by. The silenced gun hissed, and the trooper landed with a thud. "Cool. A helmet."

The rumbling sound of many boots stamping around and the pew-pew of laser rifles in the air became louder as Morph got closer to the event battle. It was a nice sight to behold, and he was glad that it wasn't an actual offensive taken place here. The bank wasn't too far away from this street, and he had placed some of his gold there, the rest sitting in his pocket with the rest of his silvers and coppers.
Enjoying the view and moving a little around to find a place that he would have the best possible, he was about to lean back against a wall behind him when he noticed that one of the Stormtroopers fell over, his white armour--was it really armour or just a costume?--stained an oddly familiar red. Lasers did not, or were not supposed to do that, especially ones not meant to kill but rather made to put up a good show. Cocking his head, he noticed someone advancing to the fallen Stormtrooper, a revolver in his hands. "Shi-! You!" He shouted over to the person, thinking quickly to make something up to make it sound like he hadn't noticed the blood and thus was a victim to the killing. "Stay back from the 'troopers! Just let them put up their act and don't walk in the way!"

Tsaul stopped for a minute, "Ah, you're looking to experience human emotions in other words? Then that's why you were drawn to the holidays; this is the time of year the good feelings start to roll."
Kite was already way ahead of Tsaul and made an effort no to stop.
Fine, if he's going to straggle i'm damn not staying behind.
He was silently cursing Tsaul when he saw Morph up ahead watching the stormtroopers.
"Howdy Morph."

"Human emotion?" Xoquoxitill replied, "I've experienced a few of those in my time. Except that they only consisted of hate and anger... I had no idea that happiness was an emotion."
That's when Xoquoxitill's inner demon started to regain conciousness for a bit. It didn't like joy or happiness, and as Xoquoxitill learned more of it, the demon would slowly awake. To show this, Xoquoxitill's black collar, implanted with purple glowing gems, started to crack. Though it did regenerate itself. It can only hold this demon off for so much...
"I wish to explore this emotion. Would you care to help me come to full realization of this feeling?" The Nightmare God said this, not noticing what was happening to his collar.

Darklighter spun around, trying to figure out how to talk his out of the killing. "He tried to shoot me. I was walking, and he tried to jump me. I knocked over and finished him. We can't have renegade stormtroopers. That could be bad. I fixed a problem. My gun is now in it's holster. Have fun." He picked up the helmet and vanished into a shadow.

Morph sighed and his hand lightly tapped against his forehead. "Liar." He uttered. He knew what the guy said wasn't true, else he would have seen him sooner and he wouldn't have taken the 'trooper's helmet. He could have gone after him, since it was easy with Shadowport and then grab him with tentacles made of shadow, but he was too tired for it. Besides, it would be rude to leave so suddenly at a festival, especially when someone behind your back had just adressed you, he noticed when he recalled hearing a familiar voice just now.
He turned around to face the owner of the voice and saw three figures walking his way, two of them familiar to him and neither seemed like the kinds of people he would have ever thought he'd see together like that. "Salut there, Kite." He spoke, holding up a hand in greetings. He gave a short look at the other familiar figure with a frown and then bowed his head closer to Kite. "May I ask why you are hanging out with the Nightmare God?"

Kite froze for a minute. His jaw dropped and hung in place as he turned his head to see Tsaul being Chatty with the Nightmare God. It was a PM moment.
Tsaul, what in the hell are you doing...?!
Tsaul looked at Xuquoxitil and gave a slight smirk, "You've come to the right person."
He noticed the PM and responded.
You ever think that maybe the villains celebrate sometimes too?
Kite opened his PMs and read the response, then looked up at him with a slight grimace.
You ever think he's using you as a patsy to fuck around with people while they're unaware?
Tsaul read the PM and responded with no other reaction.
Just trust me on this one...
Kite then turned to Morph and responded, "Not my choice, and apparently it never will be..."

Darklighter felt a strange presence in his body, like something that didn't belong. He could not describe it, it just was. "What was that guy's problem?" He failed to see why one 'trooper mattered. If he slayed the whole group, then that would be a problem. But one guy...
