THE BASICS
Name: Shadow Clone
Type: cloning technique
Range: 20 feet
Element: Darkness
OTHER INFO
Character Link: Mr. Black
Rank of Character: Alpha
Rank of Technique: Alpha
Origin of the Technique: Mr. Black was never designed to be a stand up fighter, or a warrior of any kind. He knew this, but did not want to modify his program to make himself a better fighter, so he created Shadow Clone. The shadow clone would fight for him, allowing Mr. Black to finish or ambush his target.
WHAT REALLY MATTERS
Mana Drain: can be used twice per thread.
How to Perform: Mr. Black channels his dark energy into his palm, then fires at his target.
Effects: The Shadow Clone spell enters the target, reads their genetic material, and then copies it near by. The spell itself does not harm the target, but the clone might. The clone is pure black, like Mr. Black, except it gives off a faint purple glow. The clone has all of the target's beta and under techniques, and the target's physical characteristics, and non-magic equipment. (Like for instance, it would have Darklighter's .45 pistol, but not his magical scythe. If the copied person's primary weapon is magical, then the clone will have a lesser version. Example: Sturm has his magic sword. Shadow Cloned Sturm will have the same sword, minus all the enchantments. So, just a basic sword.)
Pros:
• Creates a perfect copy of the target. The clone is hostile to the original.
• The spell travels at several thousand feet per-second, and only alphas can dodge it.
Cons:
• Uses 50% of Mr. Black's mana
RP EXAMPLE: Mr. Black slid across the floor, being dragged by the man’s shadow. For five hours, the man wandered around in broad daylight, but Mr. Black remained patient. Finally, the man stepped into a shadow. Mr. Black stepped up, Shadow Cloned the man, and watched the two men fight. Finally, the warrior defeated his clone, but he still suffered a few major injuries. “Good to know I fight so well. That was kinda cool…” Mr. Black appeared, walked over to the man, lifted his axe, then lodged it in the man’s skull.
(Note: I had fixed all the stuff in here, but the original thread disappeared. So here is the first copy again...)
